Btw, who are you for me to run away from? I have the right to continue the conversation or stop talking to you
Witches believe and are headed for the infinite hole. Even the devil too believes. If alleged believers dying is your reason for challenging a clear and simple scripture, good night.

If they have succeded in eating ur brain in the name of religion, mine is still intact.

I will continue to blame the federal govt for any loss of lives occassioned by the corona-19 virus. The FG knew the "Nigerian lifestyle". The FG knew that most Nigerians don't adhere strictly to instructions no matter how important, the FG knew that contagious diseases travel faster in over-populated environments just like in Nigeria, the FG knew the high level of poverty in Nigeria and that many Nigerians cannot afford a total stay at home policy, that was why the FG shouldn't have allowed the disease through our ports whether air, land or water. Anybody coming through the ports should have been tested at points of entries and if any tests positive, should have been sent directly to treatment centres instead of allowing them to go home. Tracing over 4000 people without adequate information about them is almost impossible.
That's why UN isn't impressed with our porous borders accommodating every tom dic n hary in subshahara africa. To compound it not good record system with population details like addresses, age, sex, nationality, and bios. We confuse unplanned urbanization for development.

If churches in Nigeria will be able to use just 20% of their income to work for their members alone(iam not talking about the public just their members) seriously tye society will be alot better and the problem of poverty will be reduced drastically. Kudos to dominion city Lagos.
How can 20% of 10% (tithe) have an impact the remaining 90% couldn't have? Your mathematics is disturbing. Stop inciting worshippers against the church leadership o.

The govt ( FG, State & LG) that just shared half a trillion in allocation for February are hijacking Jack Ma's donation for themselves and you are here talking hate speech against churches.

We all know the virus has spread beyond control in Lagos.
A lot of people already have it but are not showing any symptoms yet.

I had serious fever, eye pain, joint pain and dry cough for three days.

I didn't do any test, all I did was isolate myself from others.

I ate plenty fruits and gave my self three doses of Emal antimalarial injection for three consecutive days.

I'm doing fine now even without any cough mix.
There's no cause for alarm guys.

We're strong enough to handle this.

Government will continue to lie and decieve us. They make decisions behind closed doors and prioritize themselves and the wealthy.

For now, they are willing to attend to only themselves and ignore the ordinary people.
How many ordinary people have been tested positive for coronavirus? None I guess.

Guys wake up and take charge of your life.

We are on our own oooooo
The ******** will not be televised!

Fair enough then, how about ALL group worshiping being abolished until further notice ?

I got no problem with that, since I have never set foot in ANY form of religious gathering, out of personal choice.

If the global health authorities state that the Corona virus infection rate is dramatically slowed down when all large gatherings are banned, then so be it, and let us permit common sense survival advice to guide our every action in this time of a looming microbial Armageddon.

The only losers when all citizens are obliged to worship in the privacy of their own homes, would be the greedy pastors and Imams, who will no longer be in a position to extort money from their followers, under the ridiculous pretext of having Papa God's personal phone number.

Anyone who lightens the pockets of others while distracting them with holy references, is nothing more than a charlatan and a thief.
How come you didn't jump on that thread or talk about the first major group to gather. Your anger with Oyedepo is clearly personal.

Why always Oyedepo?
The thread I link you to is that of Muslim Supreme Council telling muslims to disobey govt openly and not of govt or by govt. Read the thread well. Points 4 and 6.

Just wait for Sunday when see people around canaanland going to worship in Oyedepo's Church. Nobody is concerned about muslims gathering and an open directive from Supreme Muslim Council in Nigeria encouraging gathering.

They are permitting muslims to gather and that is against the directive of govt or NCDC. Now if Oyedepo follows same pattern we get to see a reaction from folks whose soul is being partly stirred by satanic forces against Oyedepo.

4. In the event of confirmed emergence of the infection in several figures, regarding the congregational prayers, in such affected places, including the Friday prayers, funeral prayers, tarawih prayers and Eid prayers; people with compromised immunity such as the elderly, children, those with underlying health conditions amongst others should observe their prayers in their homes or wherever they are, and pray Zuhr in place of the Friday (Jum’ah) prayers.
That is a clear directive against the govt directive to all citizens. Govt dictates social distance and no gatherings but they say only if your immune system is compromised is when shouldn't gather to pray along other muslims. Now if Oyedepo goes ahead with his service on Sunday, some foólish folks will say he should be arrested. The law is only against Christians in Nigeria.

If someone knows how to mass produce masks, preferably the n95 ones, so people can do their business without getting the virus, let us know.
If only Buhari can be half as proactive in thought as you alone. Commonsense dictates that preventive measure be prioritized above shut down strategy which is more of a copy and paste of advanced nation's policies approach. Masks don't appear that hard to make.

it is largely a thing of airborne viral load filtering fabric stitched unto some handle. Same thing too for sanitizers, we have the raw materials.

This is why I nod my head when I see Nigerians claiming to be more developed than Kenya or Uganda, or Rwanda. Development isn't a count of mansions and big cars. It is the ability to adapt to extreme and shock situations like these. Our per capital GDP is low and disperse. Accommodation aren't well spaced, water security=zero, food security=O.Y.O., The least I expect is the military engineers to be tasked along with willing scientists from the society to try and produce these items on the fly but Buhari is more concerned about his own life first.

This is an option, however I believe speedy testing and isolation of new cases is the most potent weapon/strategy to curtail its spread.
Only the truly advanced nations can quickly come up with fast and accurate testkits. As for OP, I believe your suggestion goes to the cure and management of infected people.

We simple don't have what it takes to manage the situation.

Seun, I said as far back as early February that this pandemic was more an economic battle than a healthcare one. Let this be clear to Nigerians. We donot have social security, we donot have medicaid and medical insurance remains in its infancy. The typical Nigerian pays his medical bills from his pocket, he will have to pay to receive Covid -19 treatmemt from a pocket that is under threat now.

As we speak even goverment doctors are being asked to source their PPE to battle this scourge. The government cannot provide the basic tools of war. That is how under resourced our goverment is. Now you ask your citizens to fight this pestilence with one economic hand tied behind their backs. How is the country going to win.

If this pestilence lasts till the end of the year, who can survive 8 months without income. Can this country survive a year without an agricultural planting season?....You shut the markets and farmers cannot sell their produce, why will they cultivate anew even as the rains have come. This thing has long term implications.

Other nations are precise and deliberate in their planning. They have an entry and exit strategy to shutting down. What is the strategy of this government in handling this crises.huh Please help me ask them.
Testing is key. read up "covid-19 testing" and see how south Korea and UK are handling it like malaria. They have the technological knowhow to handle testkit production. They have state of heart blood testing robots that can outwork any human laboratory. What do we have? Big men with cars and mansions.
Health › Re: Coronavirus: FG To Ban Inter-State Travel, Close Motor Parks by Standing5(m):

Total curfew is at best a time saving tactic. You still have to test, test, test to find those who have the virus and stop them from spreading it. A curfew without doing that will only slow the spread; it will not stop it. And once the curfew is lifted, the disease will come back.
If not for some of your retárded mods banning discriminately, I was stressing the place and importance of testing and speedy isolation few days ago. South Korea has been at the forefront of the testing kit advancement game so far. We have zero testing strategy. Without testing fears will multiply and rumours are bound to spring up because people are left to speculate. With accurate and speedy testing available, it becomes super easy to isolate new cases before symptoms show, by which time it might be too late.

Test method like antibodies analysis will definitely be too slow for us.

If there are only 46 cases in Nigeria, most of whom have a history of travel abroad, why are they doing all this? Shutting down the country doesn’t solve the virus. It only gives more time for the real work: testing, isolation and treatment. So how will essential businesses run without buying things from Lagos?
I quess it is beginning to get to Oga Seun. Nigeria isn't as strong as many of the advanced nations restricting business. Maybe it is time to allow everybody roam and let's test drive our faith.

You'll do well by mentioning the mosque and the name of the leader(Imam) that led the prayer. Must we always justify wrong doing by stating who else did such?

In his words, Bishop Oyedepo claimed the service was for awareness(in his face saving press release). What happened if a number of the attendees were infected with the deadly virus, would the awareness campaign still be justified?

Why didn't he carry out such awareness in his UK/US branch?

No one is above mistake, let's agree on that and learn. I put it to you once more to name any mosque(Central) that's as big as Oyedepo's church that had a Jumat service last Friday.
Now u guys have introduced size as a criteria. Gathering na gathering bros.

We will be looking forward to read that Lagos state's share was left behind.

Why not move it straight to Abuja straight from China,

This man of dog, Thieving Pastor Oledepo, intoxicated with the vast wealth that he has acquired by taking money from the desperate poor, imagines himself to be smarter than the entire scientific community now urging the entire planet to go into lock-down as a virus preventative measure.

Frightened that the government mandated dispersal of his gullible flock will affect his ability to rake in mountains of free cash, the greedy pastor chose to DEFY the Nigerian government directive, by insisting that his impoverished cash donors continue showing up in his cattle-shed church, so as to continue feeding his insatiable greed for free money, all in the name of Jeeeeeeeesus, naturally.

While this writer does not ascribe to ANY formalized modality of religious worship, the stand taken by Nigeria's northern Islamic youths, who are demanding the immediate arrest of Pastor Oledeopo, is highly commendable, give the severity of the lethal consequences that could arise from a mass disregard of the Nigerian government's standing ORDER instructing ALL citizens to retreat into the relative safety of their homes, while the contagion rages across our fragile planet, decimating human life as it progresses.
Oga Jakumo, education doesn't start and end with the ability to speak and write good English o.
Two days before the Oyedepo church services they are bursting veins over was held, Imams to gathered their untouchable flocks for Jumat but the only realized the dangers of gathering after churches gathered. Now that has been the foundational problem of Nigeria for decades or even centuries. Some folks somewhere taking other to inferior.

Oyedepo is just a pastor who does not force himself on others. If you are mad he is making money from people go and start a church too and make yours. When he started the schools under his ministry, you guys equally alleged he was profiting billions from it but I am surprised, of all the private school owners non has any traceable wealth that's growing.
