I am finding this hard to believe, that array syntax is supported by new PHP version. You may need to reinstall your PHP or you messed up with settings. array(); was the original PHP syntax but a new syntax was [] declaration. It was introduced in PHP 5.4

And when I requested your PHP version you said 5.3 and 5.5.

Both interpreters cannot be working same time. Set the 5.5 as default interpreter.
I still advise to not to modify your code yet, you may break things if you weren’t the one who codes it.

Data efficiency is more of a brain work than something you code practically, if a weather network station need to serve millions of user and it gets too much request daily then it may be overworked. It could reduce this work load by what we call event strategy, this concept alone can save huge amount of power and money. This is what a computing scientist is concerned about. A coder build the idea on ground. I hope you understand. Although many CS guys are coders too. In big industry you don’t really hear of anything called full stack, you are either a backend/frontend or designer. They are more concerned with quality work rather than quantity. So most organization has computing scientist as programmer and as researcher.

You may have to keep coding on your phone for the moment. I suggest if you have an android phone then dowload the app called
"Dcoder". It has a platform for you to learn in every language. and to read quality PDF. Adobe reader is always the best.

I have updated my mention, I was trying to refer to the padding that

Obviously there is nothing wrong with your sense of style and size you pick. Users make use of several browsers but when developing as a frontend coder. When i started programming, i began with HTML & CSS, over time i progressed to php, java and c#.
While hanging out with some CS guys some of them barely knew beyond hello world, but knew CS theory.
My then short sightedness made me brag how they were inferior to me.
I dropped out of my biochem course and faced programming full time.
Later on, i realized i was more interested in compiler/driver stuff{basically system dev}.
I had to learn the math and theory on my own.
In all, i think we exaggerate out of ignorance.

This what I have been basically trying to say in this group since that a CS person may not really know how to program but they have knowledge of human they can work around data efficiently.
A CS guy + a programmer can do practically anything in the computer world. A CS person is more incline to data efficiency why a programmer is more incline to communicating to computer. This two people can be one person. also it could be two different persons.

I think you guys are sometimes too harsh on Nigeria. The Nigerian educational curriculum was copied from the West, and so it is almost thesame. Schools abroad also teach more theory generally as they prepare you for research than anything else.
The only difference I see is that Nigeria lacks the infrastructure generally or major IT companies for internship as indicated by someone earlier.

you have spoken well, to many they think in America the curriculum is a 5G curriculum and on mere sight one becomes immediately learned and experienced person. what they don't know is that the little theory we have here, we have little or no infrastructure for execution. Not to talk more if some advance topics are added, that will lead to even more theory and less work.
