This is a lengthy reply...

I used to have a very rough face. My face was so rough at a time my friends gave me a new nickname - La Pimps.

It was so bad it affected my self confidence at a time. I'm glad I finally got rid of my pimples to a very low rate.

In fact, my face is about 85% clear now.

Here are a few tips that helped me clear most of my Acne and Blackheads --

How I got a smooth face:

1. Avoid that constant nagging urge to touch your face or busting small acnes by scratching on it. because you'll help spread the acne to other parts of your face.

This one is more like a control method. Stop the spread by not touching your face every 2 mins.

2. Avoid processed sugar especially soft drinks... the one we call Mineral (coke, fanta, etc)

Over the years Ive found out that any time I take mineral 3 days in a row, I must have a big red pus-filled pimple the next morning.

If your wife has pimples all over her face, it just means her facial skin is conducive for pimple-casuing organism to grow on.

And sugary soda drinks will boost the growth of the acne-casuing organisms. In fact, my face is a reflection of the kind of food I've been eating.

3. Avoid snacks that is cooked with processed/trans oil like cakes, biscuits, chin chin. Etc...

I don't eat much food but I know deep down I have a sweet tooth. I love cookies a freaking lot! All those oil and butter used in preparing it spikes up body oil and it shows on my face and general health.

The idea here is to substitute processed snacks with healthy snacks like apples, nuts etc.

If she can pay attention to what goes into her mouth then it'll only be a matter of weeks or a few months for her to get a clear skin again.

because her body will take time to eject/detox before restoration starts.

4. Pay attention to the kinda soaps you use for washing your beddings esp the pillow cases. Also pay attention to the kind of soap she uses in her face.

Understand that having a sensitive facial skin means paying extra attention to everything that comes in touch with your face.

From experience, I've found out that facial soaps with a strong fragrance like - Hawaii, Eva , Axe body wash, almost all medicated soaps will almost always leave my face with fresh outbreaks. I avoid washing my beddings with detergents like Klin or Omo because of the strong fragrance.

Sometimes I only wash my face with water alone. And with soap once in a day or two. Becos I've found out that the normal facial oil helps to balance out the pH of the face

I go for bath soaps like Palm Olive & Joy because it's mild on my face.

I suggest she avoids makeup or tone it down a lot to just powders untill she gets the acne under control.

She should avoid spicy oily foods if possible cook with very little vegetable oil.

Pimples go mess up your self confidence because it's literally in your face. Fungbact-A make sense but I believe the acne becomes resistant to it after a few weeks of use

.... If she can avoid Mineral and watch the kinda soaps she uses I believe she will overcome more than 60% of her skin problem.

... Before I forget, E get this Neutrogena anti-blackhead face scrub wey I de use. E make sense die too. But then there's a rule on how to make use of any facial scrubz especially if you already have a bad outbreak.

- You rub on wet face very gently in a circular motion. Then wash off after like a min or 2.

Then use the scrub again after like 3 - 4 days. This will give your face the time it needs to react to the scrub. Then give your face another 2 - 3 days space before applying again .. this little gaps gives your face the time it needs to react or get used to the new scrub.

By the next use you can feel free to apply it for 2 or 3 days straight.

In the end, she has to pay continuous effort to her face it's not a one-time magic thing. Sandy the more she keeps trying diff chemicals on her face the worse it gets.

My wife, before now, had the smoothest of face in the world until recently.

Pimples have taken over her beautiful face, and we seem to have run out of ideas of what to do.

She has tried so many over-the-counter creams but it's getting worse by the day.

This is seriously taking it's toll on her self esteem. I'm beginning to get so worried about it

Please, who knows of any home made lasting remedy?

What a principal did to me in her school.
It was all rainy, as I stepped out to submit my long postponed application at a school I've always wanted to work for, if I should ever decide to go teach.

Undoubtedly one of the best secondary schools in my city of residence, from structures to school facilities and staff remuneration, I'll be very careful not to mention name. I made sure I stepped out like a responsible person, in character and in learning. On reaching the school premises, I met a staff who directed me to where I can do the submission and subsequently write my name in the register.

As I was about leaving, I saw a long time class mate, who happened to b a staff of the institution, the last time I saw that guy was in Jss3, so came the normal tradition of greeting a long time pal, exchanging pleasantries in happiness. Unfortunately the Principal who happens to be d owner of the school came out and met us discussing, what then transpired, no one will want such as an experience I'll still share it anyway...
The principal looking very angered came at us, pointed at me, asking who I was, that am discussing with her staff inside the school while he was on duty. (Pls...not that school have resumed o).

She then threw a lot of questions at me, after I told her my motive there. Like where and how I knew my class mate that am sharing the same hair cut which she's always against and have warned him about( my hair cut is a low afro-style,cut, not the long type). she asked abt my type of qualification if its HND or BSC, I replied BSC which according to her still gave me opportunity to borrow more time in d premise. She then demanded she look into my CV. after glancing thru, that's how my interview started, she then requested a Geography question templates from her office.

If they actually told me interview was the day, to be honest, I would av disobliged, thinking am not ready. But at that point I was consumed with anger, I wanted proving to her that though hunger is real in this administration, but it doesn't take away brains. To the best of my knowledge I replied correctly like 95% of her questions, all thanks to their mediocre kind of Geography questions, except the ones I even had to correct them about.

The most annoying thing here is her manner and tone of communication, very disgusting, disrespectful and filled with hate. As if I came to beg. The last straw was, after defeating her question she then brough a map work, and refused giving me a common material like ruler. It was then I told her its not possible.

As I expected she'll fix a date for it so I can come with my tools, for God's sake I came just to submit my application. It was then she started saying a whole lot, that pple like me,just like most of her staffs can't and won't last with her for 2months. Why should I discuss in official hour, (when school haven't resumed, no teaching whatsoever going on). So I demanded she gave me back my file which had my Application letter, CV and photocopied documents in it and left.

My question are these: Employers pls... why do you advertise for workers when actually u]you are sure you don't want to employ.

I must confess, this is an establishment i've loved, still loves and will love to work with if given opporunity, even after the mishap, bt Its a pity I had to witness such, I don't know if to call it ill-luck, BT the scenario have risen the hate in me towards serving sm1, to see, the best in self development in d midst of mediocre/no jobs. I am sad.

I wish to have that experience.

By applying online. As soon as I felt ready and confident to have a job I was applying to jobs everyday. I knew all the latest Dev openings on hotnigerianjobs, myjobmag, linkedin, indeed etc. Upwork was open on my computer at least 10 hours everyday so I could see new gigs. It took me two weeks to get my first job this way and I was getting as much as ten to twenty interviews every week.

I was applying to at least 10 jobs everyday. It shocks me when I see new Devs say all the jobs they have applied to is just 10. Finding a job is a job on its own.

It beats my reasoning the kind of questions people ask here. Why so much anxiety about job? You come here to ask questions that, if ordinarily, you were asked in an exam, you would confidently give a definite answer. Maybe they're just trying to make some humor.

I wrote the test on 4th August 2021 and I didn't encounter any issue. I was able to submit and I got a mail notifying me of my score.

Last night I got a mail saying my test of 9th August has been rescheduled for 16th August and that should use the same token to log in and take the test again.

The whole thing is confusing.
