Jesus Christ lied when in parable of the seer and sower, He spoke of seeds that take root only to later die out for one reason or another? lipsrsealed

One interesting thing about the parable of the sower and the seeds is how it sort of mirrors the analogy used by God in Ezekiel 36 vs 1 - 30 in explaining how the One who sins must die aka perish. undecided

Russia was to be the reason for a united Europe while Nato will provide the platform for it.

Family › Abortion; child murder by Steep(op): 3:22pm On May 18, 2022
Believe it or not, the injustice of killing the preborn has existed for thousands of years. We know abortion was practiced in Ancient Greece, and some sources say it was practiced in Ancient Egypt as early as 1550 BC. Humanity is so sinful that when we want something – no matter how evil it is – we will try any barbaric method to get it.

But today I want to talk about child sacrifice in Old Testament times. Really the only difference between abortion and child sacrifice (a.k.a. infanticide, like what Virginia’s Governor Northam was referring to in a video last year) is age and location. Abortion kills a baby before he or she is ready to be born; child sacrifice kills a child who is already born. Abortion kills a baby who hasn’t made it down the birth canal yet; child sacrifice kills a baby or older child who has made that six-inch journey.

Thus, child sacrifice, often mentioned in the Old Testament, is very much like abortion.

So what did child sacrifice look like in Bible times? The pagan nations surrounding the Children of Israel sometimes practiced child sacrifice as part of a cult, such as the cult of the Canaanite god Molech or of Baal or other unnamed deities. Other times they sacrificed humans in response to defeat or crisis. Child sacrifice to Molech, or Molek, in particular is described many times in the Old Testament as burning their “sons and daughters in the fire” (Deuteronomy 12:31, NIV).

Another passage more generally states, “They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood” (Psalm 106:37-38, NIV). This verse is referring to the Israelites’ turning away from God to the evil pagan practices of their neighbors.

What does God have to say about child sacrifice? It might send chills up your spine.

One of the best examples is in 2 Kings 21 when Manasseh King of Judah followed “the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.” He worshipped false gods, desecrated the temple, practiced witchcraft, and “sacrificed his own son in the fire.” And if that weren’t enough, “Moreover, Manasseh also shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem from end to end – besides the sin that he had caused Judah to commit.” He is said to be worse than the pagans themselves!
This is God’s response: “I am going to bring such disaster on Jerusalem and Judah that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle. I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measuring line used against Samaria and the plumb line used against the house of Ahab. I will wipe out Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down. I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance and give them into the hands of enemies.”

Clearly child sacrifice is numbered among the sins God finds most egregious.

According to His law, anyone who sacrifices his child to Molech deserves the penalty of death by stoning and God will turn His face from him (Leviticus 20:1-5). And this is important: “If the members of the community close their eyes when that man sacrifices one of his children to Molek and if they fail to put him to death, I myself will set my face against him and his family and will cut them off from their people together with all who follow him in prostituting themselves to Molek.”

God gives the community responsibility to address and confront situations in which children are killed. We are no longer under Levitical law, but we are still required to fulfill the moral principles set forth in the law, including protecting the helpless and preventing murder.

Did you bother reading the passage you quoted at all? There is no mention of only those "bought by Him" aka the redeemed as it was in the passage from revelation so did you simply do a search for a mention of all people's, nations ... only to assume that would suffice to be claimed the same? undecided

Look, here's what Jesus Christ Himself told you as far as redemption/salvation for you.
Redemption/Salvation comes at the end, not in-between nor even at the beginning for you. The passage above tells you that only those who belong to the Kingdom of God that stand faithful until their very end will be saved aka enter into Heaven. Those who fall on the way side will not make it in. Does that sound anything like your "bought(past tense) by Him" idea? . undecided
Salvation/redemption is now.

2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Not tomorrow or on the last day.

you are an heretics.

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Are.these not gentiles who were washed/redeemed in the blood of Jesus?

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Paul's charged the elders of the church.
The church consists of both Jews and gentiles,
It is the whole church that was purchased by the blood of Jesus.

Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

To the saints in Ephesus not only jews but gentiles too.

Again Paul speaking to the Corinthians both jews and gentiles.
They were all bought or redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
1 Corinthians 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Repentance and remission of sins to be preached to all nations

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

The righteousness of God upon all who believes both jews and gentiles.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

The is the propitiation for sins.
Proportion means to appease or redeem from God's wrath.

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Christianity Etc › Re: Bible Questions by Steep(m):
Prozico22:
please am here to learn
1. who told the people that wrote bible that GOD created animals and plant before humans
Answer, it was God that revealed it to Moses coupled with the fact that historical knowledge was passed down from generation to generation, Moses recieved revelation as well as historical knowledge of the Jewish people down to Adam.

. who told them that GOD created man in is own image
who create dwarf, cripple and abino that to say GOD as many image.
The image of God is not physical appearance rather it is character. Characters such as goodness, love, Justice, righteousness, faithfulness, creativity etc. The abnormalities you see are the consequences of Adamic sin, which affected all things and altered life.

3. why did GOD create us
Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

All things including man were created for God's pleasure.

4.GOD send is only son to die for only sin and yet the sin know stop
Yes God sent his to die for sin, what that means Jesus paid the penalty of sins we have committed so we could be saved.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Sin is a debt as well as a nature. The human nature is sinful.

Romans 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Our human nature has already being corrupted by sin, the only way is to be regenerated (Re-born), what this means is that a new nature which is the nature of God is rebuild in man. This can only happen when sin has being paid/atonement made by receiving the Messiah Jesus christ as your Lord and saviour.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

In future, at the resurrection the dead who were saved would be given a new perfect body, and the bodies of those whose are saved would be changed into a new perfect one. Also in the future God is going to create a new and perfect heaven and earth where the perfect people will dwell forever and ever.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

5.the good die the bad die
the good rich the bad rich
in human context, some people are good however not before God.

God's standard is different from human standard, God only accept absolute perfection.

Death is general to all this is the curse brought by sin through one man on the whole world.
However , there is a second death in which everyone all those not in christ will have, this is eternal torment, in the lake of fire.
If anyman die outside christ his/her soul would go to hell ,where he/she will suffer the repercussions of his or her sins.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Head covering is a symbol of a woman to the authority of her husband, yes a woman should cover her head but in some churches they do not.
What head covering teaches is more important than the act itself which is order.
The man is to submit to the headship of christ while the woman submit to the headship of her husband.

Christianity Etc › Will The Heaven And The Earth Be Destroyed? by Steep(op): 1:35pm On May 09, 2022
Absolutely yes!
2 Peter 3 vv 7

2 Peter 3:7 .But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men

The word "heavens" refers to what scientists and astronomers call universe. Which includes the galaxies and solar systems.

The very fabric of the universe, the fundamental elements which are atoms, and subatomic particles, matter /energy would be obliterated out of existence with no trace found of it anymore.
The book of Revelation says that there was no place found anymore for them.

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

All the world's civilation and achievements will be burnt up along with the earth. All the beauties, glory of this world would be destroyed.

1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Peter said to Christians seeing that the world and all her glories would pass away what manner of persons are you suppose to be, you are to walk in holiness and godliness.

2 Peter 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Whatever achievements or riches we gather here on earth will perish with the world, we are to invest in heaven, let your earth and your goal in life be kingdom centered not earth centered.
The praise and honor of humans is vanity by the praise and honor of God is true and eternal.
Jesus is coming soon!

Znation:
Happy sunday to all nairalanders.

We're aware of the second coming of Jesus christ; but while some people says that the world will end soon, others argues that the world will forever remains.

Our bible tells us that God himself is love, and i always ask myself, why will God destroy what he created and loved?

The book of Revelation chapter 21 tells us about the new Heavens and the new Earth, and in same Revelation chapter 7, God promise to wipe away hunger, death and evil from the new Earth. Does it means that god will destroys this present world and creat a new one (Earth)?

Remember that God did not only creat humans, he also created other living things which he loved. If he now destroy the earth and everything in it with fire after he has choosen the righteous ones, what about other living things he created, what will be their fate?

I don't no much about the last days, but i believe that you reading this does..

My question is;

* Will good destroy the earth with fire?

* If yes, when will it be?
Did God not destroy animals along with man with flood?

God will destroy this present heaven and earth , nothing will remain not even atoms and energy. The fabric of the physical reality will be discarded afterwards God will create a completely new heaven and earth.
