Again rubbish nigerian press. . there were never direct flight between Nigeria and Isreal because your have to fly over arab countries(with exception of egypt.) and they all have closed airspace to flights going to Isreal since 1967, so flights going to isreal from most country stop in egypt or cyprus then proceed to isreal. it was the isreali intelligence agency that advised the airline to not fly to nigeria because of other intel report and not oct 1 bomb(or IBB ). if they no do am now and something happen una go dey shout where intellingence agencies be there?

elshamy if you read my earlier post way back in the begining of this tread you we relise that most of us are not saying that al jazeera broadcast the truth but they are very selective in telling the truth to favour their own agenda which is to paint western society and culture in "evil light". that why in any country that is divided like nigeria al jjazeera would most probably favour the muslims in their reporting that the christain south, if you are a reporter which i belive you are go and do a research on the jos crisis and check out how al jazeera reported it and come back and tell how fair their reporting was in comparison to CNN reporting on the same issues.

in south africa a lot of ex white military guys that retired after the fall of apartheid are into "security" business and are known to fight and train whoever pays them well.

kobo i believe if u want to get a "balanced view" the best way is to get the news from various sources internationally i watch cnn, bbc,sky euro al jazeera et al.while locally i read different paper and try to get eye witness report if possible.

omo ibo naija na very strategic country in the energy power play wey dey happen for this world. al jazeera was set up to projject arab intrest in the west in a suttle manner. by being economical with the truth in some places where western media may take an extreme view (e.g darfur,) or by elaborating and being creative in some places, it all a battle for global domination. the arabs have entered by into the race in the past decade or so after the fall of the iron curtain and the space it created. the were able to do it with their resource and a common unifying factor their common religion. nigeria is pivotal because of it size, location and composition. the west already have central africa in their palm and nigeria would be a good platform to expand your dominace in terms of culture and economy because of it's population and size. imagine if nigeria were to be arabizedin no time it would spread across the coast to sierra leone and down to the congo at least were we control a lot of the trade, albeit informaly. the problem is our politician here in abuja all think locally and arestrategic to use this to our advantage the way people like the indian, pakistanis, vietnam and south korean use their strategic position to their advantage to develope their people by playin both side (or all side, the ruskies are a factor again) instead of allowing all side play you.

Tewmuch al jazeera is another platform for another oppressors of the africans, the arabs. in africa al jazeera main goal is to ezpose the folly of western policies and their allies and to paint the views of their allies. for example they talk about genocide in jos or when boko haram gets massacred, but never cover or mention the word genocide in darfur province in sudan(my brother which is more of a genocide?). in nigeria and in particular at this particular moment when a strong supporter of OIC and the islamization of nigeria is up against a southern christain with a western outlook you should be able to infer who they would support. all media outlet have their play master and write their script to favour them al jazeera is not different, my only advise to nigeria/African in general is we should not let this greed for our resource by different power block globally to define us, we should define our selves. but like fela trully said they have divided us with borders(country,regions), tribe and worst and most potentially dangerous RELIGION . well oyb past the eagle square area earlier that morning to play soccer(about 7 am) and saw the police bomb squad clearly around the area, i drove past that area about 30-35 mins before the bombs exploded and actually commented to the person i was with that security seem to be a little extra alter like something was about to happen. my guys who left the field after me and saw the incident happen told me that immediatly the first bomb went off nobody died but they was a mad rush by the public to the scene which the security agents had problem control it was a second but that actually did all the human carnage,

When you display any thing that can be seen from outside your property at ease(such as on the exterior part of your fence)then your are projecting an image outside your domain so it no longer on your property. Tkb 417 yesterday incident was a bird strike. It was the bellview crash which raspuntin referred to that i said wasn't a bird strike.@ kasovo that miracle mentality is the very reason we dont search for solution to problems or try to minimise hazards in our enviroment.i bet if that toyota pedal stuff was happening in naija we go just talk say na wicth de cause am. Raspuntin did my research charted with a pilot who was about to take off behind it and said the capt and his female fo handled calmly&professionally.the engine did not explode as some pressmen reported and am sure this stuff is all over the paper becos the minister was at the airport with all those press guys at that moment. I personally think it was the head of state(Gen Abacha) that agreed to go to The Hague that gave away Bakassi and not the president(Obasanjo) who the jugdement was pass during his tenure,or should Nigeria have rejected the judgement of a court it agree to sit in?If we were only going to accept a favourable judgment then we would have not accept to go to the court which is an option.No country has been subpeonad to world court.
