@ shewhy, 4ril and OjaP have said it all. I can only imagine how hard it was for the consular to buy your story because I'm yet to buy it. Anyway, you've been there two times and your history is already on record. Going a third time will imply desperation. Ask yourself this questions:

1. What kind of educated man will keep his son for 6 years (Jeez!!!) just so he can learn the "family business"-lumbering, which is totally different from his career choice? If you were going for a business major, then that will pass. But aviation? Nobody wakes up one morning and decides to be a pilot. Even those that reinvent their careers hardly change to aviation. Get the gig? A better sell would have been to tell the VO that couldn't get into school because no Nigerian university offers your chosen course and you had a hard time getting a good aviation school. That would have sounded more sincere. Then you could mention being with your dad so that it doesn't look like you spent 6 years of your life being idle.

But get this. Going to the embassy a third time before March looks suicidal. I won't encourage you to do so neither will I discourage you from going.

2. The aviation school you attended, what course did you go for and what kind of crafts did you use for your training? You just kept saying "I answered her correctly" (na today? Abi you neva write exam wey you "answered all correctly" but the result maga?).

Right now, only God can help you because the next time you show up at the consulate and your name is on their screen, your records will pop up and you will have a hard time explaining yourself again. But like they say, "Never say never". Defer your admission, create a better story while mindful of what you have said previously, and go for the interview at a later time when you are in a better position to face the consular else you will sound like a desperado and end up with another denial. Just my 2 cents. But God is ultimate.

@ shewhy,

What amount is on your I-20? What was the balance on the bank statement you presented the first time, and also the second time?

What is the nature of business your father's company is into?

If you graduated in 2002, and you have been working with your dad since then, can you match your responsibilities with your future career path? If your answer is NO, then that is a big problem. If you went to aviation school, for how long did you run the program? 2002 to 2011 is over 8 years. You sure have a lot to explain and if your explanation is not logical, then a denial is inevitable. So you see?

Try to answer the question about the account balance on the statement before we can come to a resolution.
PoliticsRe: President Goodluck Jonathan's Approval Rating by Superbrain(m): 1:47pm On Feb 14, 2011
Nigerians, let us look beyond religion, ethinicity and social status while we cast our votes in the upcoming elections. Vision, morals and wisdom are not qualities peculiar to any sect. They are qualities characteristic of any man or woman who is driven by the idea of a better society, and who "consciously" strives to make his visions a reality. GEJ lacks those qualities. He failed as a deputy governor, as a governor, as a vice president and also as a president. In the past few months during which he occupied the office of the president, he failed to provide the much needed security of lives and properties, failed to address issues that affect the general populace, failed to be prudent in expenditure and also failed to represent the country well as expected of him.

He has chosen to compromise on integrity, morals, and true values, by associating with some of the worst criminals in Nigerian history, just in a bid to win an election.

We should thank God that his true character is coming to light. How can he account for precious lives that have been lost in the past few months? Yet he moves around with baboons and gorillas, announcing how important it is that they-PDP, must win the elections. The word "must" is an insult on the millions of Nigerians, who as a sign of patriotism to their country, and with a strong desire for change burning in their heart, will come out enmass to cast their votes- hoping, believing, that change will come.

Like the Obama deception, PDP is at it again, promising, lobbying and trying to buy our future and children's future.

I will vote and enjoin my family, friends and community to vote, so we can end this tyranny. GEJ has failed us, and if we let him and those goons, we will live to regret it.

Vote against insanity, Vote out the PDP. We need a new government!

shewhy:
@ omotohhawt. Everyone there at the embassy was asked to do the fingerprint that day, either u were given the visa or not. Also, I have been firstly interviewed like 3 weeks ago but it was on this same admission process. That was my first trial. The information is still the same, no difference.
From your post, it was your second interview, right? The problem with your situation, like OjaP said, is that you have not painted a clearer picture of your case. Till then you may not be able to get much help because it is hard to really understand your case.

So,explain your situation, both yourfirst interview experience and the second one and what documents you presented in both.

PoliticsRe: Fashola Challenges Fg To Public Debate Ahead Of April Polls by Superbrain(m): 12:48pm On Feb 11, 2011
@ Beaf, you are here again. Mind you, Fashola challenged the party-PDP and not GEJ himself. Even at that, is a debate too much for your slowpoke president to accept? GEJ should be the one pushing for a debate to let Nigerians know what he has to offer but I guess he will shy away from the topic. Know why? Because he might just end his political career with a slip of his unbridled tongue. What I don't understand is why they keep insisting, emaphasing that they "MUST" win the elections. Shows they are ready to go any length (especially without a debate) to make sure it happens. I can't wait for them to come to Lagos for their rally. A shocker awaits them.
Replying President Goodluck Jonathan with the words “unpresidential” really shows that indeed Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola is “Rascal”
I see why you chose your username.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Rips Goodluck To Shreds! by Superbrain(m): 1:03pm On Feb 10, 2011
@ Debosky, spot on bro. Couldn't have said it any better.

GEJ is a rascal. He stood beside rascals and accused the best governors of the federation of being rascals. I leave the following comparisons below,

1. Who is the rascal? Dr. Mimiko who has revolutionalized health care delivery in Ondo State, with commendations from the World Bank and EU, or Agagu, who condoned the illegal practices of the dethroned Deji and instead of attending to the needs of his people, spent more time seeking favouritism from Obj?

2. Gov Fashola, who withstood the PDP thuggrey led by Obanikoro and has succeded in transforming Lagos state to the delight of Lagosians and foreigners?

3. Gov Rauf Who against all the evil machinations of the PDP stood for justice and has embarked on a radical development campaign for education in his state?

To those clamouring for GEJ and his cohorts, what do you have to say about this and your president's response?

1. The October 1st bomb blast?
2. The recent spate of killings in Plateau State-(the dumb Jang is talking about security and development as if he has achieved any of that during his tenure)
3. The recent voters exercise where schools were forced not to reopen but the President's children resumed school on the first day of the exercise?
4. The recent murder of the ANPP gubernatorial aspirant in Borno state- an obvious political assassination.
5. And the list is endless,

Please wake up. I am from the South South but I am accountable to my children and generations to come for decisions I make today. PDP is a failure.

And please Gov. Fashola has the right to lash back at a President that refused to respect his own office when he made that statement. I bet you, GEJ will avoid Lagos because if he shows up, he might get he least expects (we just might be having another shoe-thrower).

To hell with Mr. President and his party.

Nigerians! Wake up. Na so dem hype Obama so tay dem almost give am Nobel Prize (for nothing) and in the end, most Americans are wishing they hadn't voted him in.

My greatest pain is that the October 1st bomb-blast incident is not even being mentioned anymore. Plateau State, which should be a state of emergency by now, is still being ignored. What has GEJ really done?

One advice to him though (if any1 here knows him closely) - STOP using BRT buses for your campaign Fashola- ITS ABSOLUTELY WRONG- these are state property!!!
And who made them state property? They are not owned by the state government. It's a Public-Private Partnership initiative. Fashola has reiterated that countless times.

GEJ should be held accountable for those words. He just lost one vote for talking recklessly!
PoliticsRe: Janathan Calls Fashola A Rascal! by Superbrain(m): 12:20pm On Feb 09, 2011
Jonathan is a disappointment to the people of the Niger Delta. How dare him imply that Fashola is a rascal angry angry? One fan down, more to go. I knew PDP will rubbish his personality. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I wonder what PDP has achieved in the South-West that they're making noise about.

FamilyRe: I Dont Want To Bring My Husband Abroad . by Superbrain(m): 4:14pm On Feb 07, 2011
Stupid, selfish woman. What happened to "Together, Forever, till death do is part"? She must be silly to even contemplate not sending in the documents. That is what happens when some women start earning big bucks- they lose all their sense of responsibility to their family. So the husband should do the baby-sitting while she enjoys her "freedom"? @ OP, your friend is disgusting. When she was all ecstatic and making out with him, was it not under the same roof? Abi did she have the kids with him in absentia? I can't figure out an advice for her because something is grossly wrong with either her or the marriage otherwise she wouldn't have even thought of holding back.

TravelRe: Do I Need To Travel Abroad To Become Rich. by Superbrain(m): 6:10pm On Feb 05, 2011
@ OP, you must be a confused young man.learn not to vacillate. Must you go abroad? Do you think the streets of Newyork or London are paved with gold? There is an old saying "A lizard in Nigeria will not become an alligator in America". Get that straight into your head and try to work on being and not on having. When you are worth something, you will be in a better position to earn more by selling yourself and your skills.

Rome was not built in a day, so forget that trash about "no time ohh". There is time for everything.

TravelRe: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by Superbrain(m): 2:09pm On Jan 31, 2011
@ herself, the money in your account, is it a lump sum deposit or accumulated cash? If it is a lump sum deposit then that doesn't look too good. If it is accumulated cash and your statement reflects the cash flow (either through savings or salary payments) then you can go ahead to use it but if I were you, I would look for another option except I've been working for some years and the cash flow is good.
TravelRe: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by Superbrain(m): 6:53pm On Jan 28, 2011
@ herself, you cannot sponsor yourself. The best you could do is co-sponsor and to do that, be ready to show evidence that you've been working for some time. Try to get your uncle's statement or better still, get him to send it to the school by himself. He can also send you a copy later for your interview. Your co-sponsorship should not be the bulk part of the required amount on your I-20.

@ gift, how is your transcript a problem? About the GRE, if the school does not ask for it, then don't bother about taking it. I will only advise you take the toefl (for visa interview) because you may be asked at the embassy and doing one or both of them (GRE and TOEFL) is good for your visa application. Send in your applications early so you can get a decision in time.
