My reservations about moving to the UK

- I hate being at the mercy of others. Going to the UK on a spousal permit means losing my German residency and I'll be at her mercy. As should anything go wrong with the relationship , I'll have to leave the UK.

- Getting a professional job. It doesn't make sense to go to the UK and continue to be trapped in menial jobs. I have been there and I hardly see Nigerians in professional jobs except those with rich parents. Someone should advice me on that as it could not be a real reflection.


My Reservations about Nigeria


- High rate of startup failure
- Difficulty in getting loans to expand. I have heard they can ask for even your neck in those times. With a lack of collateral, more difficult.

Again, there is need to change the name "Abakaliki" to something better...like "Chelsea, Stardam or something else. Abakaliki as a name looks primitive and that is why most people who come from your state don't always want to be identified publicly to have come from the state.

Sorry but I think it's a lost opportunity.I got same too but was lucky to finish the first and second stage upload before 9.am 11th may.The message came in on Friday May 10th.Its just an avenue to disqualify alot more.Size was also another thing but this time,it was less stressful than during the first stage.

You can’t just expect to be given power because you’re a woman or because there aren’t many women in government.

You have to actually earn these positions, I believe if a woman is qualified and has the required experience no employer will over look her because she’s a woman, there’s no law stopping woman from being in power so instead of these protests why not educate the girl child and start grooming her for leadership? There are good role models to follow, people like Okonjo Iwela, the late Dora Akuniyi, Angela Merkel, Theresa May. None of these women got voted or appointed because they were women, they actually earned these positions with their brains and hardwork

And no, I don’t have anything against women, I see myself as a feminist, someone who believe that women can achieve what ever they want and excel in any profession or field of study, I just feel that the idea being pushed by some bitter women that the world is against women or men hate a successful woman is wrong
