ITbomb: Fishbrains.
They disregard all warnings and advice but suddenly turn professional counsellors after making the same mistakes all girls make.
Put urself in the position of those virgins u r advicing and remember when u were head over heels with the bed guy insulting people that dare to tell u the truth and warned u about rushing. In spite of that all u ever wanted was his hot d¡ck inside of u , now u ve gotten it , why the regret and advice?
I mean like what EXACTLY did you smoke?
Where did I ever tell you that I broke up with my bed guy or that I regret being with him?
I'm actually afraid for you dear. You seem to be traumatized by something.
Take it easy ok? Pray, fast, and be steadfast. All is well.

Lol!
I have seen this somewhere earlier.
I feel that babe though cos sometimes I actually find myself controlling a sudden urge to wring my fiance's neck for allowing me go through so much heartache before showing up his sexy a.s.s grin
Mehn! I now understand why some ladies regret not saving their virginity when they get married. I desperately wish I could turn back the hands of time.....
Virgin girls out there. Please, please, please, don't be in a hurry to have sex. Please save it for that special guy who will make you shed tears of joy. I know it's easier said than done but please just try.

Okija_juju: [b]First of all... APGA will never join forces with ACN (Yorubas) and CPC (Hausas).

We dont care how many traitor Igbo men join those parties. Okorocha and co can join anything they want, but the day APGA enters that God forsaken marriage with ACN & CPC, the East will automatically transfer to the PDP.

APC is a forced marriage driven by the insatiable hunger of the North to acquire Power again. We all know that in that merger, The North is the Husband, the Yorubas are the Main wife and the Igbos will be the concubine.

PDP from day one has been the only truly National Party.
CPC didnt eve bother campaigning in the South-South/East last year. Now they bribe a few sellouts and form a merger and think we will be decieved?!

A wolf in Sheep clothing is worse than a Wolf in Wolf clothing.. They creep up on you and devour you before you even realise it.

Oh really? Please speak for yourself! If/when APGA joins APC, the rest of you opposing Igbos can do nad about that!
But come o! You say you don't want to join APC because of the Yorubas and Hausas but at the same time you say that PDP is a national party. Are there not Yorubas and Hausas in PDP? Abeg wetin you mean by national party again becasue e be like say I no sabi book again o!

ACN/APC is not a tribal party oga.

See, Tinubu is no saint! He's a thief sef.
But there are thieves and there are thieves.
Tinubu is the kind of thief we need now at the this particular point to help us do some really dirty work that a clean guy or a good guy will find too disgusting.
let's look at it this way, if you are a neat person and allergic to dirty things/places, you certainly wouldn't want to do some dirty work like clearing your gutter or stuffs like that. you employ someone who is used to filth.
There's just too much filth in the Nigerian system now and we need what I would call a very 'bad-good guy' to do this dirty job. We need him to clear out the filth to create way for a good guy to come in to do the good stuffs. It's like when you want to move into a new house, you clear out the dirt and scrub places before you start furnishing the house.
let's give ACN/APC a chance people, I am very sure they have something much more better to offer us than PDP. Just check out their membership and track records and compare it to PDP. ACN is not a saint party but you can see brilliant minds among them not just empty praise-singers and follow-follow people that mostly makes PDP. Please let's rid ourselves of sentiments. Sentiments will only rob us blind and lead us to our graves with frustration. I am a south-southerner. Proudly Akwa-Ibom, but I can't stand GEJ and his cohorts
God bless Nigeria!

coogar: your english needs aid from united nations!
cab = taxicab! the only reason people use them is for some sort of privacy, not to share with other passengers. this is why it's more expensive than a commercial bus. you didn't board a cab - you boarded your death sentence!
Madam coogar, e be like say e don tey since you enter 9ja, na cab or kabukabu we dey call public saloon cars that carry more than one passengers same with the ones thatcarry just one passenger.
FamilyRe: My Experience With Ritualists/kidnappers At Lekki This Morning by Sweetlemon(f):
op, those were 419ers you encountered and not ritualists or kidnappers. If they were, they wouldn't have let you out of the car so easily! That is the exact way 419ers operate. Telling interesting and mouth watering stories involving money to strangers.
You were very lucky they were not kidnappers or ritualists or would have been telling a different story.
Kidnappers and ritualists are however on the rise these days, thanks to poverty which has given birth to frustration and desparation. One needs to be extra prayerful and careful. As you see me so, I no dey make friends on-line anymore. I have de-friended all my on-line friends, except the very few ones I have come to know very well(ie family background and lifestyle in general) All my on-line friendship stays on-line hence forth and nothing personal will be heard or seen from me on-line till further notice. My prayer life don improve by force o!

Everything is connections o! Even 2.1 sef (Nigeria don spoil)
Don't mind those telling you not to include your class of degree on your C.V because if you try that with any company which specifially asks for personal information on C.Vs , dem go carry your C.V give akara sellers, especially if it's a big company like Oil and gas coys, KPMG, etc.
So you need connections and God to see you through.
That's just the truth
CelebritiesRe: Top 30 World's Most-Beautiful Women In 2013 by Sweetlemon(f):
You guys accusing white males of compling this list, I don't think it's true. Truthfully, white men stare at my dark skinned sister longer and more appreciatively than black men.
I believe it is low self-esteemed blacks who even voted these people in because we all know we blacks have self esteem issues. We believe that the fairer the finer and that fair girls are more beautiful.
Check out miss world and miss universe pageants, have any of the black winners been fair skinned? They are always dark skinned blacks.
Being fair does not make you more beautiful, it only makes you more noticeable, ie if you are ugly, your ugliness gets more noticeable and if you are beautiful, your beauty is more noticeable.
e.g, when you put Jacqui Appiah and Monalisa Chinda together, you will look at monalisa first, but when you take a look at Jacqui, you will see that jacqui is prettier.

miredia: maam, one naira can be managed and multipled or squandered. Impoverishment is not a function of low income but of poor managerial skills. Do u understand what it means not to live beyond your means. Do u understand what prudence is. Do u understand what contentment is and not being a spendthrift. Maam' ,do u have an inclination of the power and greatness of an industrious prudent wife not necessarily working class (suit and tie); but a woman with a multiplier effect. This virtue without apologies can either make or mar a man. You can make all the money in the world if the character is flawed in my judgement it is "baboo". I am astonished at the OP's personality. Impressive i must say, she isn't saying it is a taboo to work but that character precedes money.
I pray she understands this point better now that it comes from another person.
Thank you so much.
Can you also help me explain to them that both working and non-working women can be liabilities or non-liabilitie, good or bad wives?
Can you also help me tell them that the main point of my message is that what matters most is a woman's ability to manage resources and turn one naira to ten naira? Her prudence and not her income?
For some strange reason they purposely refused to understand this point instead they accuse me of saying that non-working women are better than working women.
I wonder why.
Pls help me explain o

chaircover: But most women know how to scout for a bargain regardless of whether they are housewives or working. Infact I would have thought that people who go out and mix with other people are at an advantage of knowing where the bargains are. You wont believe how many money saving tips I have found out and shared with my colleagues
You too? You too cannot see where I keep drumming into your ears that both working and non-working women alike can be liabilites and non-liabilties, good or bad wives?
Are you allergic to new posters invading your territory?
Ok ok! I'm off. I believe I was able to change the mindset of one or two people and that is cool for me.

dayokanu: Can I say there might also be some men that are better at Nurturing rather than creating wealth?

Let the man and the wife sit at home and be nurturing to create wealth and lets see what would happen

You think say you smart? Who doesnt want to stay at home and nurture instead of waking up at 6am to go find money
Lol! It's not about being smart. I'm not here to prove smart but to share my ideas which I believe will make life much easier for us with others. It's not by force to take them but at least give me fair hearing.
Men are mainly providers. That's why he must go out and work. Afterall why is he a man? In every relationship, one person HAS TO BE the head and the main characteristic of the head is to provide. Yeah sure, we are in 2013, but remember that some things are everlasting. Show me a home where a woman is the head and the man the nuturer and I will show you a man who has been jazzed.
Chikena!
So men and the head of the family need to go and work. That's is where a good wife comes in. He will need a good wife that can help him nuture the works of his hands (and she can also do this alongside her own)
That's what I'm trying to say

Nope! By knowing where to buy 5 tatashes for the price of 3. 3 packs of oxtail for the price of 1. A packet of money instead of buying bit by bit cos bulk buying is cheaper than buying in bits

dayokanu: You mean the working wives of these men are not advising them already not to party, spend less

Why cant these housewives spend these knowledge to make money and invest it why do they have to give someone and not use it themselves

Like a poor man teaching people how to make money
Like I said, some women are good at nuturing others to wealth better than creating the wealth for themselves. While some can both nuture others and create their own wealth.
The bottom line is that they are both useful in their own ways.

chaircover: . . . . Something taken out to save when he hasn't paid his rent or his kids school fees? I dont think so!!!
Yes maam, it is very, very possible to take something out before or after the school fees has been paid. Like I said, only a prudent woman will know the trick
FamilyRe: She Is Not A Liability!!!! by Sweetlemon(op): 9:47pm On Apr 11, 2013
dayokanu: Most men who make the money have the knowledge on how to invest it.

Let the housewife use her knowledge to advice herself on how to turn her 0 income into 1000
Not most men. In fact, just a few men invest their money. In my office, there are men who borrow money before the middle of the month. Many of them have working wives o! Many of these men spend large chuncks of their salaries partying every friday night and going out on saturdays. Don't forget many men have a weakness for electronics. Some just spend to impress friends.
Now this is where a good wife comes in, she can advise her husband on how to spend wisely. A good wife is also on the look out for investment opportunities, always wanting to know where she can buy the best things at the cheapest prices, buys things in bulks, and is a compulsive saver.
Now is this kind of woman not an informal bank/investment house?
FamilyRe: She Is Not A Liability!!!! by Sweetlemon(op): 9:35pm On Apr 11, 2013
chaircover: She doesnt have one naira to invest to make it grow because there is nothing to invest in the first instance. The guy is just about struggling to put food on the table talk less of having extra one naira to invest

Nothing personal oooo! I am not attacking you personally. I just dont agree with your arguments.
Oh really?
Well no, as long as a man earns something, I strongly, STRONGLY believe that something can be taken out every month and stashed somewhere for future investment.
Let me tell you something. There are some women who may not enjoy going to the office or doing doing their own business but they are very good at nuturing and standing by others, and boy do they do a damn good job at that!
FamilyRe: She Is Not A Liability!!!! by Sweetlemon(op): 9:28pm On Apr 11, 2013
Nashville: A housewife who hasn't worked for years will turn one naira to ten naira. Lol. If she could, she would be earning a living working or doing business. She wouldn't be a housewife washing, cooking and cleaning.
As long as she's not an illiterate, she can and she will turn one naira to ten naira if she is prudent by advicing the man on how and when to spend and invest.
FamilyRe: She Is Not A Liability!!!! by Sweetlemon(op): 9:15pm On Apr 11, 2013
chaircover: Character has nothing to do with a man working himself to stupor. One Naira is one Naira and will only buy One Naira worth of stuff, whether or not the wife has a good character, has good money advise, makes the house a home and can pray very well.

Sorry we dont get it . . . I certainly dont anyway. What says that I cant have good character AND still have an income?
Nope! A good wife can take one naira and save it, invest it, and make it grow to 10 naira!
That's what I'm talking about ma!
Sorry ma, but don't tell me you didn't see where I have been saying that I work. So you would have seen where I said that both working and non-working wives alike can be liabilities and assets. It all depends on her ability to turn one naira to ten naira
Chikena!
FamilyRe: She Is Not A Liability!!!! by Sweetlemon(op): 9:00pm On Apr 11, 2013
chaircover: How about if she has the best character but the husband ends up dying from a heart attack from working himself to death just to sustain his family because wifey wont work and relieve him from his financial burden

This childbirth we are talking about, 9 months pregnancy and a few hours labour is more than worth all the years of joy and love that child will give us. If anything its the men I feel sorry for, because they are the ones splitting guts to provide for these same children but most times the children tend to love their mums and are more close to their mums.

Many many men still go to work and come home and do chores, look after baby etc. There is no you and me anymore. Roles have merged and its a partnership and so if there is any woman out there sitting at home praying while her husband is out there killing & stressing himself to maintain his family, his extended family and her extended family on top because she doesn't have her own income, then she is a bad liability wife digging an early grave for her husband period.
Excuse me maam, but a woman with a good xter will definitely posses some very good home/money management skills. A good wife will definitely know how to help her husband save money. She will also be able to advice her hubby on how to spend money, how and where to invest. These are VERY strong virtues and something not all working women have.
Virtues that can and will most likely lead the man to wealth. So such a man has very little or no chances of dying from heartattack of working too much (as if you don't know that men with working class wives also develop ailments and die everyday!!!lol! Nice try!)
I'm surprised you of all people could not understand my point. I am not saying that a woman is exempted from working, I'm just trying to explain that there are other valueable things a woman can do that are just as valuable as having paid employment

Ok I have good character but earn no money. Please will you marry me? grin grin

It is not a crime to be a financial liability, heck it can be a family choice. But don't try to sugarcoat it as something else. If you went to school, did a degree etc. with sole the aim of giving birth to kids then you're not only a liability, you've wasted your parents' funds. grin
You are a man and your main duty is to provide so you HAVE to work.

You crack me up, my employee thot I'm going cookoo laughing out loud over a Nigerian site cheesy

Can you imagine?
Lol @ your funny assessment of my points. Like you didn't see where I stressed that woman's xter is more important than her income.
Women like you work mostly because they want to form "working class chics" and carry their noses in the air! Some carry the working class woman banner because they want men to find them more "wifeable". Lol!
Well, you have a right to your opinion but don't make another person feel bad just because she's not working even though she's the best friend, confidante, and financial advisor to her hubby.
Monetary contribution is not even up to half of what it takes to have a happy marriage
FamilyRe: She Is Not A Liability!!!! by Sweetlemon(op):
dayokanu: I also dont think a woman has the ability to make herself pregnant so the point about men not able to get pregnant is very MOOT
A woman cannot impregnate herself but like I said earlier, where it comes to child bearing, a woman does much more work than the man.

Sperm+eggs=feotus.........equation balance 1:1
Where does the feotus grow before it can be born? 1:2
Who bears the pregnancy wahala? 1:3
Who goes through the labour pains? 1:4
Who breastfeeds and spends most time nuturing the baby? 1:5
FamilyRe: She Is Not A Liability!!!! by Sweetlemon(op): 6:47pm On Apr 11, 2013
damiso: OP i think you might have to redefine the roles of a wife as maybe childrearing, homekeeping and s...ex might not necessarily be a good argument for not being a liability.Same as the question"Does she have a job?" is not doing some guys any favours. Its not just having a job its what is her outlook to life that should be more of a concern.
I explained everything clearly in my first and subsequent posts. I don't know why people are not seeing where I keep writing about the home and money management skills some stay at home wives/moms have. I wrote countlessly that some wives can actually lead their husbands to great wealth by being a best friend, finacial and general life-issues advisor, and confidante to him.
