Onlytruth: ^^Hahahahaha! You know what? Its not my ethnicity that is important here. It's the message! Why should my message be taken differently if I am Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa or Berom? Can't you for once remove those ethnic glasses off your face? Gosh! |
jason123: Guy, I dey enjoy as you dey make all of them paranoid!!!What do you mean by this? Do you also think I'm Alj-harem? |
Onlytruth: You are shameless because you have your head stuck in the sand while people are dying in bomb attacks because a Northerner is not ruling Nigeria.Who told you I am brushing the innocent blood aside? Excuse me, but if you took a moment to remove the ethnic glasses from your eyes, you will see that is actually the message I am preaching here. I mentioned that I lost an uncle in a MEND attack didn't I? But my anger is not directed at ND people. But at the sponsors of MEND. pls read thru my posts again for better understanding |
Onlytruth: I will say it again, Sweetlemon = Alj-harem.Now let me tell you why Nigeria's break-up will be far from peaceful. Like someone said, Northern elites have oil wells in oil-rich states right? Good. Now tell me, do you think they will let go of these oil wells just like that?? Oh! Let me also assure you that southern elites also have dealings and businesses with their northern counterparts. How do they just leave that behind? And those Igbos dreaming of having a country with the south-south, do you think the oil rich states will not use our oil as a reason to want to rule over your Biafra?? And knowing how the proud Igbos are will you accept 2nd place? Hehehehehe! I laugh in Biafra! |
alj harem: I am ready to join you my sister.Remember, we are not fighting a physical battle, what we are doing is a mental check, a reality check in which we tackle all those traits and behaviours in us which are more vulnerable to corruption. Plant love and respect for others in your heart and tell others about it. It won't be an easy ride, but one day, one of these days, we will surely get there |
TroGunn: Gotta say the lady's argument is sound. If the present Igbo and ND governments are very corrupt and steal from their own people in Nigeria, why would they act differently under Biafra? What's stopping Biafra states from being great now? The FG has only about 50% of the total revenue, the rest goes to states and LGs. One can't really blame the uselessness of the State govts on the FG or aboki.Thank you. We are getting there.... |
PointB: Nigeria unity is a pipe dream. It has never been, it will never be!I have some northern friends from my youth service days in Kaduna I still keep in touch with. I'm also planting this seed in their hearts too. They admit that it will be tough over there because of the religious sentiments (courtesy of their elites) but they do what they can do. The educated, enlightened Hausas will be easy to access. Like I said, all we need is just 30-40 percent of HONEST Nigerians |
Logic Mind: It is amazing how Sweetlemon disappears as soon as alj boko harem logs in, and vice versa.Hahahahahahaa! Are u still suspecting? Pls check all my posts on NL. Ok? |
Logic Mind: No again chose to misunderstand.Yes of course there will always be people like that no matter what. People who have been brainwashed to think that only their tribe/religion is the best. But you and I can be among that 30 percent of Nigerians who will make Nigeria great.....again |
alj harem: Yes it is official I am in love with Sweetlemon. One of the most intelligent Nairalander I have seen in time. Very articulate and level headed. I most say she has her facts right and sees the bigger picture. Kudos Sweetlemon.Thank you so much! I'm humbled |
Logic Mind: which fight? Now we are talking! Fighting will just be in vain. But we sure can work on ourselves. Like I said we need just 30 or 40 percent of honest Nigerians. And whether we like it or not, it starts with loving and accepting our neighbours. Direct our anger at those who have put the hate in us. Our bad leaders, and not Hausas or Yorubas or Igbos or Ijaws as a whole! Then watch America come to beg us! |
I DID answer your question. But let me go further still. At least I am sure I will not die or get molested by some blood-hungry war mongers in the process that will surely happen before Nigeria breaks up. Get it into your heads that NIGERIA'S BREAK UP WILL NEVER BE A PEACEFUL ONE! That is the reality! You must really be high on ogogoro or far away in dream land if you think that war-born Biafra will be more respected in Africa. than South Africa or Ghana! Lol! Now think about another scenario, since you say you have no proof that the looting will not continue in Biafra, what if after all the war, after all the bloodshed (and let's say by chance you survived being killed) your Biafran leaders (who are the same Igbo looters presently, continue looting? I guess it will be worth the nights you slept with one eye during the war, I guess it will also be worth the days you went about without food and water. I also bet it will be worth the physical torture you received from enemies, your sisters and children being brutally molested right? Or your little kids being carried away to join in the fight right? |
Logic Mind: To answer your question, I have no TANGIBLE OVERWHELMING, BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT PROOF that Biafran leaders will not loot the same way the present Igbo rulers do.Good! now let me let me answer yours. What do you gain from one nigeria? Much. If we, Nigerians can come together, work on our greedy, selfish nature, even if it is just 30% of us, I tell you, Americans will go on their knees and beg for Nigerian visas! If we can collectively manage our resources, (and I tell you, we are rich, I mean, EVERY SINGLE STATE in Nigeria has something to be proud of! (even if it is onoins or palm oil)) if these resources are properly managed and shared among ourselves...... do you know how much we will make selling cocoa alone? if this money is put in good use, and shared among all the states, do you know how many hospitals and schools we will build? (and I'm am talking about cocoa alone o! Now this is where honest leaders come in. What would you loose if we divide? Much! 1. we loose our much prestigious giants of Africa title. 2. we loose that unique Nigerianess that stands us apart from the crowd. Do you know how other Africans admire us? Do you know they learn from us? we have this swagg, this extra thing about us that makes them wish they could be like us. HOW MANY OF US CANNOT SAY WE DO NOT SECRETLY LOVE SAYING NAIJA FOR LIFE?" 3. we loose what Nigeria would have been if we do not swallow our pride now that is too late and learn to attack our problems from the root. Open your eyes and see that Nigeria is a great country. And if you also look further, you will see that our diversity is actually our strength and beauty. we could actually make our differences become our selling points if only we can just take away selfishness and greed! |
ak47mann: and what have a common calabar man that drives okada everyday and risk his life just to feed his children gainAs for you, it's obvious you do not understand my message here, that is why you are asking that question. |
Logic mind, you have not logically answered my question, you just twisted it. but let me answer yours. What do you gain from one nigeria? Much. Fire wood brings out the 'party flavour' in food that is why it will be best for parties. Gas cookers are best for unique home cooking, and are better than Kerosene stoves cos they save time and are neater to use (no charcoal stains) |
@Logicmind and Biafran wanna-bes, I will even join your struggle for Biafra if you can give me just one TANGIBLE, OVERWHELMING, BEYOND-ANY-REASONABLE-DOUBT PROOF that your Biafran leaders will not loot the same way your present Igbo rulers do. JUST ONE. waiting....... |
Logic Mind: you are so brainy you can't even put your photo straight up.hehehehehehe! Is that s'pposed to make me feel bad? aww! sorry! |
And I am telling you, Nigeria made it thus. Biafra will not tolerate govt. enriching themselves while the masses go poor. Your red-herring will not work on me. Nigeria is the problem, not L.G. chairmen.
lol! @my red-herring! You know what? I will even join your struggle for Biafra if you can give me just one TANGIBLE OVERWHELMING, BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT PROOF that your Biafran leaders will not loot the same way your present Igbo rulers do. JUST ONE. |
@Jason and @physics, Thanks, I am blushing! You see! not all pretty gals are dumb, some of us are super brainy! @Jason and @physics, Thanks, I am blushing! You see! not all pretty gals are dumb, some of us are super brainy! |
Logic Mind: Tell me one akwaibomite, no, no, one southerner that owns a natural resource production in the north. One southerner that owns an agricultural farm in the north.it does not have to be in form of oil wells. It could be in other forms. But the truth is that NOTHING GOES FOR NOTHING. Do you know how stupendiously, shockingly, headspinningly rich a local govt chairman is in Akwa-Ibom? Men! They might not really own the oil wells, but I tell you, they are drunk from it! |
ak47mann: And can you tell us what northerns gave you in exchange of oilMe? or my Akwa-Ibom leaders? |
@ |
@Logic mind the thing that qualifies the northern ruling class to own oil wells in my state is also responsible for what qualifies the ruling class in my state to own oil wells! Pls tell me, why can't our governors and house of reps rule against the hausas owning oil wells here? Are the stupid? Are they so retarded that they allow strangers to exploit their land? The answer is quite obvious, the Akwa-Ibom ruling class work hand in hand with the northern ruling class. They all have benefits to enjoy. Nothing goes for nothing. The Akwa-Ibom ruling class have something in exchange for the oil given to the northerners. And I ask again, is it the abokis selling tomatoes on the streets of Lagos that stops me from getting state contracts from my own governor?? Na dem dey guard Akwa-Ibom state house? Interesting! |
Logic Mind: we all love our hometowns, but accepting your hometowns to rraped repeatedly while you shout one nigera is mind-boggling.lol! you still are not getting me! meanwhile who are the people raping my hometown?? is it that aboki selling tomatoes by the road side or my governor, senator and L.G cahirman who are storing up loot in foreign countries? |
Biafra4tharmy: Get lost sis! I personally cant co habitate with gworo stained toothless stinking Mallam!. Wil you say that thrash above if you lost your dad in the north? Slaughtered like goat and roasted upLOL! No I wont! because I know that although the average "aboki" is vulnerable to religious brainwashing, I will bear in mind always that it's the rulling elites who brainwashed them. There are many hausas who are a lot kinder than you will ever be. one of my dear uncles died in a MEND attack, but I don't hate ND people. I'm only against the founders and sponsors of MEND |
whether I live in Akaw_Ibom or not does not make me love my home town any more or less neighter does it make me less aware of what happened and happens there. I can see you tribalists are desperately trying to put tribal-induced hate in me. But guess what? It will never work because I am far above such trival stuffs. I'm just too mature and level-headed for such! Sorry! |
@Effwazobia, Really?? you will blame Northerners for what happens in Akwa-Ibom?? So please enlighten me, are you trying to say that our southern leaders are the mumus and odes who stood by and watched as the northerners "designed" the country for them? interesting! |
Effwazobia: Nwanne I totally disagree with the bolded parts, those are flawed generalization. Just like everywhere else in the world, there are smart and equally dumb people from both areas. I know waaaaay too many people from Ikot Ekpene that are very intelligent than the average. I can defend that statement because Akwa Ibom is my maternal home state.Oh! so it is now the northeners that are responsible for the problems in Akwa-Ibom ba? lol! so where will you place our past and present sate govs, deputies, house of assembly members, local govt chairmen etc who have private resorts in foreign countries courtesy of our oil money? where? |
Ilaje44: You meant without amalgamation, we would not have been in this mess? Perhaps not! However on the other hand, I am quite confident that without amalgamation, we would probably have had the same problem. Both the Northern and Southern Niger Protectorates were not at all homogenous entities. The best way forward is not disintegration. It should be the last option. We as humans should be in a position to learn. The Europeans are giving good examples. Amalgamation is not the cause of the woes... Before amalgamating, villages were fighting villages and using the SKULLs of their killed enemies to drink palmwine. The problem is inherent in our AFRICAN/NIGERIAN mentalities, which is still majorly at a very primitive level.Thank you so much! |
Ilaje44: And the CAUSE of the disease among others are the followings:Now youb will understand why I say that breaking up the country will just be cosmetic as long as these problems persist |
@Icon, thank a lot! |
