the hadith you quoted is pertaining to marriage. unless Aisha was a full woman by age 6, then it is doubtful that she was married at that age. the condition of marriage includes the spouses to be at least of the age of puberty. they also must wish to marry each other and engage in the negotiation of marriage. there is a contract which both party must be involved in its formation.

the above is enough to disproof that Aisha [ra] was probably not 6 years old. if she was, she was a special woman. in either case i am happy that she is my mother, and her impact in the deen, being the wife of the messenger [as].

the fast ends when the sun just set. this is immediately after the 'setting' time of the sun. in winter time its about 4 pm and change. northern territory of canada will have an earlier sunset time than florida, during winter, while it will have a later sunset time during summer.


inshort muslims fast not from 6 to 6 per se. but from that time just before 'dawn' to just after 'sunset'. the 6 to 6 may have occurred just once in a particular year in 33 years or in a particular location of the world. the correct time for muslim fast is always before dawn,ending just the moment is set in your particular location.

there is no word for infidel. there are english words that have no arabic equivalents. infidel is one of them. motorcycle is another.
