The sexism and crude misogyny of most Nigerian men is never far from the surface....
>
True!! This is quite confusing because Sometimes Nigerian men act like their sole purpose in life is to impress women. They work to make money to impress women, their conversations are generally about women and a few other stuff. At other times they act like women are subhuman and should only be seen and not heard.

Nobody knew Tacha has body odour allegedly until she got into big brother. Never overrate these so called slay queens until you come into their closets. The odour from their personal struggles can choke anyone. Beyond the bliss and bing's is a broken woman seeking to redefine the very essence of her existence.

One of the worst things to happen to a woman is to become successful on social media, with a large following, and let it get to her head to the point you fail to make a REAL LIFE. No husband, No kids, No real business. Just social media notoriety.

Richdad
Wow! This is utterly disappointing!!! I used to think highly of your opinions. So you think a woman’s worth lies in her getting married and having kids? You’re a typical Nigerian who has been conditioned to believe that a woman is incomplete until she’s married and had kids even if she is miserable in the marriage. Toke hs a job and a brand.

not to join issues with you but I have a lot of guys( Nigeria not foreign) who are single and don't have any intention of marrying soon. these guys are well paid and have good careers.
whereas I also have female friends who also have good jobs etc but are sad because they are not married.
I am not doubting the research done, but I believe the research wasn't carried out in Nigeria and so what applies there may not apply here.
True, but that is because most Nigerians have been conditioned to believe that a woman is incomplete without marriage. Women more than men are the ones that attack other women that are successful without marriage. They go after them with so much vehemence, you’d think it was personal.

That’s why self control is so important. Anger can be like a raging storm. Sometimes, If you give in to it, it may end up damaging much more than you envision. I don’t watch big brother but I’ve heard of Tacha. She’s probably the most popular person in the house. Maybe even had a shot at winning, now all that gone.

How can someone that God has created be useless or good for nothing. God didn't create any use less things.

because after his creation he bless the works of his hands
You're right about everything thing and everyone that God created having a purpose. But when that thing or someone refuses to live their purpose, yielding nothing, then they are practically useless. Especially if they decide to go around causing trouble for others. Remember Jesus and the fig tree? Jesus caused it to die because it was fruitless, hence useless.

FYI, IBB was NOT removed in a coup. He voluntarily handed over power to Earnest Shonekan who was then shoved aside by Abacha.

I will need to buy spare parts which cost money ..reason I am pleading for assistance..
If you have a good relationship with your mechanic, have always paid him on time, have been in the habit of paying extra, then you can workout something with your mechanic. Is it not your mechanic who’ll buy the spare parts? He knows your car is a taxi and once it is on the road, you can generate funds and pay him. You can generate funds legitimately through other means. I know an engineer who joined the laborers on building sites when he was hard up. Today, all that is history as he makes tons of money. My two cents is never beg. But that’s just me o.

#22. General Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babaginda. He killed the integrity of Nigeria as a nation. He gave oil blocks as gifts to people who knew nothing about oil like the one he gave his wife’s tailor, Mrs. Alakija. His rule was one where corruption was practically legitimized. He made Nigeria join OIC. It is alleged that he killed people who dared to speak out against his atrocities like the reporter Dele Giwa. He is said to have been so charming and slippery that some of those who initially saw him for the brutal dictator he was ended up mesmerized. Hence his nickname Maradonna. He came into power via a coup and it was a coup that ousted him to oblivion. There was great rejoicing in Nigeria on that day. However, his successor Sani Abacha was not charming and so did not enjoy public acceptance even though he was not as wicked as Babaginda.

Then you work out something with your mechanic.

Once you help some people, they make you their atm. They become leeches. One even called me her savior. I told her Jesus should be her savior. I don’t understand why So many Nigerians expenditure outweigh their income. All these buying on credit sure does not help. When you tell someone they can do without that weave on or trending sneakers, they act like you’re trying to hinder their progress. I don’t know when Nigerians will learn to walk in dignity, honor and self respect.

I like what is happening. God is cleaning his household. A dangerous precedent would be set if justice is not done. She deserve more than 10million. As a matter of fact, no amount of money can equate the level of damage done.

In cases of rape and maltreatment, the victim is free to and should demand for compensation. Not everyone have the heart to send someone to jail for a crime committed decades ago but a compensation is an option if he or she is wealthy. And if you do not know what to do with the money, give it to charity.

Christianity Etc › Re: Christians, What Are The Reasons Why You Won't Go To Church On Sunday? by sweetrace(f): 11:32am On Sep 08, 2019
I love church with a passion. I love praise and worship. I love to listen to messages.

But I’ve not been to church for a couple of years. I Hate the fact that some pastors think that they are superstars and the congregation their audience. Sometimes, there’s hardly any difference between a show and what goes on churches.

I love to give, but I hate all that begging for money that goes on in churches. It strips them off their dignity. I will prefer a pastor to say the church has running costs and we should all come together to offset this. Instead of claiming My prosperity is tied to this.

A Christian is supposed to be passionate about preaching the word of God. Freely have we received and freely we should give. These days, a pastor won’t preach in another church unless he is paid to do it in the name of honorarium.

Church is where Christians should fellowship together. But most often, we mind our business and keep to ourselves. When I reach out to others, sometimes, I discover some of the most fraudulent people are in churches. I might as well watch the pastors on tv and worship with the angels.
