Hmmmm....you know how we go all out to be especially kind to other that have been dealt more blows that we believe they deserve? We become protective of them and irrational to even the loudest voice of reasoning once they are able to truly appeal to our compassion.

Hmmm...I almost married a divorced guy with a heart problem some years back. He was dealt an unfair blow and alone. He was always in and out of the hospital. He believed he won't live long despite being quite young and doesn't want to live his last days alone. Yours truly here broke all rules regarding him. I was ready to go all out for him despite knowing the consequences. Infact, I withdrew from some major projects important to my success in life just so I could be there for him. Anyways, he got better and sensibility came through. It wasnt that I loved him like I would love a man I want to share the rest of my life with, I loved him because he needed me so much and the human in me was ready to live for him. As soon as the motivation was off, the feelings became more logical..so you see, we humans protect our own once our sense of compassion is awoken.

I can relate to this a little.


Few months after I moved into this compound, I started seeing a lady that I wasn't seeing before. Learned later that she is my landlord's daughter.

I have heard a lot about her before from her mother(I and the parents are close). She's been married for four years with no child and it's her husband's fault.

I thought she was just on visit but it turned out she has divorced the man..... Months later, the mom turned against her and started making life uncomfortable for her. She was always crying.

So I called her in one day and talked to her about her life, her current situation, mom's attitude and how to cope with all. The reason I called her in was because she was contemplating running away or going back to the husband.

I learned more about her that day that made me pity her the more, we became close and I was always there for her. I did my best to make her feel a bit comfortable. Told her how to get along with mom and the rest of the fam, it worked small.

Then she started getting uncomfortably close, started wearing close to nothing into my apartment. Sometimes I will awake up from a nap and see her beside me in bed. (usually don't like door.)

I have always known that women are easily drawn to love, care and attention and most times give their body in return so I told myself that it is time to do something and do it fast.

She's young, beautiful and hot(she was just 22) but touching her is just like taking advantage of her.

Now you can imaging the situation I found myself in. Turning her down will hurt her deeply because she would feel it was because she has married before. This will give her the impression that no guy who know her story will want her. Same thing her mom rings into her head always.

But I gotta do what I had to. I did it subtly and thank God it worked.

We are still very close today, she's now working and in a relationship.

My brother sleeps at night with shirt on, but whenever he is awake, he would found his shirt lying on the bed.
