The hubby is either a cat with 9 lives
Or some firebrand prayers have been said on his behalf.

No reason is strong enough to take another life....
For Mrs Faith, why u no waka with ya children, dump them with their grandparents if financial issues were getting worse.
This is clearly not the case, given that she could pay the entire amount to eliminate the guy.

50calibre: This is why they say a violent woman requires a violent guy who would treat her violently. She hit a fan on the face just for holding her whereas beyonce did nothing when a fan touched her backside.

Christ brown was nearly lynched for beating her, now everyone can see that the she deserved to be beaten.
I hate to admit that there's a little glimmer of truth here.

I'm DEFINITELY NO-NO to domestic violence.

But it defies logic, when a girl refuses to leave a violent and disrespectful relationship, wacking the face of one of her "clinging"fans....... and next moment looking for public sympathy with..."I'm a victim" look.

RiRi...... don't fool me.
Leave CB and get your life sorted.....
You'll be one of the several booties... not the one

And the "victim" part you play, is such an overused publicity stunt.

It puts real helpless victims of domestic violence at risk of being disregarded and at greater harm.
Hahahahahaaaa...

Sorry... I'm gonna tone down my response and apologise to you if I get carried away and come across as insulting. Please forgive me..

Now! back to the topic;

You talked about the objects found on her person. Unfortunately, the article only laid emphasis on the 'miniature coffin' so I'll guess thats the most significant item of note that was found because if a human skull was among the items, I'm sure this article would have also highlighted it the same way they did the coffin.

Now.. DIABOLICAL. So because its a 'miniature casket', its diabolical. Now let me ask you, what can she do with a minature casket?! Except there is a 'Midget Assembly man/woman' that is minute enough to fit into he miniature casket, I wonder how you came to the conclusion that it is diabolical. That miniature casket is just as diabolical as the Christian Olive oil. I'm almost certain you are of the Christian faith and must have heard of 'spiritual warfare' preachings and teachings where items such as sand, Olive oil, handkerchiefs, water, burnt palm frond ash, e.t.c are all weapons used in this warfare. So its okay for christians to look at a mans picture, pray death prayers and pour olive oil (or whatever else they like on it) and walk away.. But a man makes a miniature casket, puts the picture of his percieved enemy inside and bury it, it becomes Diabolical... #Again, how are you guys able to be so selective in your judgements?!

Infringement of Human right.. Like seriously?! Like fuuccking seriously?! How does me, Carrying a full sized Casket around infringe on anybodys right?! Infact, what right am I infringing?! Their fundamental human rights not to see a casket or what?! Like seriously! You need to explain this one..

Again, she does not need to allude to anything.. She reserves the right to be Christian on Monday, Muslim on Tuesday, Jehovahs witness on Wednesday, Jewish on Thursday, Ifaa worshipper on Friday, Sabbath on Saturday and Hindu on sunday.. Its her right protected in the constitution.

Again sir, you have failed to defend your point.. And the islamic fundamentalist prat of your post is ridiculous..
With respect to the Christian analogy you've painted above or my comments on Islamic fundamentalism.......
It's a case of decimating the principle of " live and let live".

Living in harmony, without the need to extraneously impose your belief system on others, particularly when this is not welcome, is the middle ground here, regardless of religious slant.

By the time, voodoo dolls with pins or pictures are being kept in coffins, then that line is crossed.
In addition, these objects in themselves are pictorially seen as evil.... public opinion will be.... they are of a diabolical nature rather than as worship instruments.

Like the brother above said..... focus in Xtianity is on the resurrection not just the Cross. People who carry or kneel before the cross, do so in acknowledgment of the great sacrifice, a reminder, not to voodoo-hunt their victims or enemies.

I find your allusions to changing different religions on a daily basis rather laughable. You can't claim any as your faith..... you can allude to "trying" them out till you find the best fit as done in certain social paradigms. That argument won't stand in any legal premise.

Importantly, the initial focus of my piece, was on the public consensus or perception of such objects.......
(a practical demo: put a coffin in the middle of a street and a Christian cross/ Muslim prayer beads on another street and observe reactions of passers-by...... chances are....... you may be incapacitated for awhile by the mob anger)

This is explained by the fact that Nigeria as a country lends itself to 2 predominant faiths... whereby possession of such objects is seen as diabolical.

It's not only important to be right by your principles, whatever they might be, but proportionate expediency is a necessary measure.

Last word on the matter, I've come across quite a few trado specialists, I have never seen coffins in their apartments. Other paraphernalia like cowries, bowls and small altars to their deities yes,..... not coffins.

Maybe you'd like to educate NL as to this coffin carrying trado group
So in your books, African Traditional worshippers are not honourable?!

YES!! Miniature coffins all form part of African traditional worship items. So do skulls of animals, humans, bird feathers, voodoo dolls, red cloths, eggs and also blood. That does not make it 'dishonourable'.

My Christian Neighbour prays at the top of her voice every night with 90% of her prayers revoling around killing all those people who are responsible for her problems by fire and force. She sprinkles Olive oil, uses handkerchiefs and probably holy water and crusifixes..

You Africans need to be ashamed of yourselves. Most of you look at an image of Jesus on a cross crusified and you all kneel and see nothing wrong with it. You see a woman with a miniature replica of a coffin and you are ready to lynch her. Isnt that double standards?!

You talk about role models.. What kind would you be?! You will tomorrow tell your kids things like 'Stay true to yourself', dont try to be like others, yet here we are denying that which is ours and desperately trying to be like the whites. Yet in the entire bible, not one Black man is a hero. Infact, the only one person that has been argued to be black is the one that was cursed by his father (Ham).

Go and weep for yourself.. As a people, Africans are very lost.
Let's not ignore the issues here.

The religion, be it Christianity, Islam or traditional African worship is not the issue here.

It's the perception that objects found in her custody were thought to be for diabolical use.
A claim, madam legislator hasn't denied. She hasn't alluded to African trado worship either.

Correct my information, the objects detailed are usually found at the altar of the priest, not in individual homes.

It's the infringement of human rights of others by her actions that's put her into derision.
This is similar to Islamic fundamentalists actions.

I want to make a couple things clear before the PDP baboons come with their usual foolishness about ACN.

1. This woman was Deputy-Governor of Lagos State between January, 1992 and November, 1993 before she was forcefully removed from office as a result of the coup led by the late General Sani Abacha on November 17, 1993.

2. This woman is dirt. She sued Fashola and the LASG last year to make the government pay her a massive pension. The LASG ignored her rantings. This is what she asked for:

I hope this woman spends the rest of her life in prison.
Oga Bob, take am easy..

It's easy for a people who haven't experienced generational and direct ravages of a potentially long war, to bicker for division ........Largely in the name of self-interest, not for the "state" as in popular parlance.

Consider all the warring factions worldwide.

Consider the innocent casualties of war, fathers, mothers, children, sometimes unborn fetuses
Consider the blood that's being spilt, many times innocent, unassuming, concurrently unaware of the play of dark forces dressed up in the auspices of patriotism, an initial byword or conflict-time lingo for tribalism or sectarianism.

Consider the short-term and long-term ravages...... the lack of stability, infrastructure, effect on morale, psychology, physiology.....I could go on and on...

Do remember the main proponents of these divisions or war, best described as mercenaries in civilian camouflage, and their families are often well protected in destinations far from conflict.

The characters of personalities here.
Is she domineering in nature??
Does he take responsibility for his action or in-action

Relationship history.....
Has he always earned less or not-at-all ? ??
In the event of the woman earning more perennially or preceding the onset of the relationship, chances are, there will always be friction, except one party is very understanding and displays a great deal of maturity!!!

What precedents have been set previously??

What role models/ mentors have they as a couple??

If you'd like some links send me an email via tujays40@hotmail.com (don't want to be banned so can't post here). Cheers
That's not fail-proof either.

There have been reports of some Lekki estates going burst and unable to build houses or satisfy their customers' other demands, as previously promised in the sales brochures.

One fairly popular one has poor customer relationships pre-sales.... how much more aftersales!!

A friend flew down to investigate this estate, before making a purchase recently.... not only was customer service below par, but there was a catalog of errors, from top management down to the footsoldiers.

Emails to the CEO or advert lead were not responded to, in order to make for allowances. But there was proof, they had receipt of them.

Figures for potential rents were grossly exaggerated.

Brochure pictures didn't depict the actual situation on the ground.
Fractions of the estate had been developed/built up , with large areas of undeveloped land, though it was advertised as fully developed. This could lead to potential security issues...

Some other estate was definitely built on water-logged land....reassurance re: drainage was given, but one wonders of potential flooding problems later once the entire area is well-developed.

Hidden costs of yearly service charge, similar to the yearly rent achievable etc was not stipulated in the brochures, but was estimated on further questioning!!!

Naija, I hail thee.

Health › Re: Should Non-doctors Head health Institutions? by Tedpgrass: 5:04am On May 02, 2013
Ochek: Who ignorant pass you?
According to ur post : Some nurse practitioners work in clinics without doctor supervision.
Others work together with doctors as
a joint health care team.
What else are you trying to prove? Try reason well abeg.
One needs to revisit the history and investigate why some of these roles have come along.

NPs came along on the premise of providing cheaper care and also having more personnel on ground to provide basic investigations and low skilled surgery in certain countries. This was following reviews of increasing costs of healthcare.

Why tie down a surgeon with low-skilled surgery or clinic work if you can train someone to specialize in a very specific area under a medic or programme approved by a medical association or college. So these professionals are very useful to the team but in a very specified role. You can't compare a surgeon with a NP......... not at all.

Something similar here in NGR was the creation of health visitors to aid primary healthcare delivery. This was cost-efficient, acceptable by the local community and easily adaptable. But you wouldn't suggest that a health visitor should be a DG Health in a state or local government, would you? huh Without the fundamental holistic approach and training, they will function well below par!!!!!!.

.
Health › Re: Should Non-doctors Head health Institutions? by Tedpgrass:
hairyman: More robust you say. I cannot disagree with you more. You may do well to scrutinize the syllables of allied medical courses, I am certain you will find it quite 'robust' and tedious too. CPDs are not also lacking, actually they abound. But for the life of me I cannot ascertain the real or implied connection between management and robust curriculum. You admitted that non-physicians have done well in hospital management in the US, well that means they can be effective. In these other countries you mentioned may I ask how well you are conversant with their health system, precisely is it a law that only physicians will attain the helm of hospital management? Well I doubt that very much. Do not quote documentaries, they are not acceptable sources.
You used the term non-medical. You must then not be referring to professionals connected with patient care. The people this argument concern, actually are very 'medical'
Cancer cure, its likes and whatever indicies support physician's superior skill in curing them has no bearing on these arguments for the simple reason that those are absolutely different from hospital management. There is no reason practically just doctors sit on hospital boards and certainly no reason why they shall solely have the duty of heading it.
Hairy,

You need to revisit my entry paragraph.

Definition of the type of organization, the underlying health ethos.... capitalist/socialist health reforms and available skill mix of available professionals and needs on ground. Prevailing culture and perspective is important, otherwise there will be difficulty in achieving public acceptance.

That will help in determining the person specification for the job.

Examples abound of private maternity/nursing homes run by midwives/nurses in Lagos. However, when seeking quality healthcare, I don't see well-placed Nigerians running there, or do you??
That in itself speaks volumes!!!!!

2ndly, I didn't express that non-medical execs have made US healthcare in certain parts/areas worldclass. Pls don't make such inferences. The pharmaceuticals/ bioengineering coys have pushed advances in Medicine there, not some HMO paper-carrying exec.!!!!

Traditionally, medical care is structured around the docs or team of docs. Diagnosis is traditionally carried out by docs before investigation requests or referrals are made. Other professionals providing some of these services have done so after a period of tutoring from .... guess what??.... the medics!!! Treatment and follow-up is overseen by docs directly or indirectly.

So it makes sense by default, for a doctor to be at least the CMD of a health organization. The CEO may not necessarily be a doc, depending on the type of coy and country. Clinical administration is left in the hands of those competent for the job.

Analogy in NGR is a Minister may be of a different discipline but perm secs/DGs are always docs/medics.

3rdly, I'm quite conversant with the systems discussed. So I speak cerebrally from experience not from ill-formed opinions.

Efficiency of healthcare provision in a country is monitored by stats and indices, hence the use of cancer cure, others include maternal and infant mortality. Pertinent healthcare initiatives change as stats change depending on the political climate.

Health › Re: Should Non-doctors Head health Institutions? by Tedpgrass: 5:54pm On May 01, 2013
Heading a health organizationhuh

We need to define..
1) the organization.... a small hospital vs govt parastatal
2) the health welfare reform in place.... ??socialist as in NHS or capitalist as obtains in the US.
3) Level of development.... type of non-medical healthcare manager (attending different CPD courses) operational in the NHS which has in place, robust rules and guidance will differ greatly from the type needed or available in the backwaters of Jigawa state.

Looking concisely at the syllabus and training schedule of most medical trainees in Nigeria, the MBBS, BDS have remained the most robust, in relation to the requirements of running a health organization. You can then argue these Nigerian-trained professionals are better placed to be in the steering capacity.

Though all medical professionals work as a team, the onus still lies with the doctor at the end of the day. Whether palatable or not, the buck stops with the MBBS/BDS.

Hence, I agree with the argument below:

laseni: A medical doctor by training, undergoes comprehensive training in ALL the fields of medicine and is thus well grounded to take adequate care of patients. For anybody to be a good hospital administrator, you must be well grounded in every area of medical care, because the objective in hospital administration is not about making money;but using the often limited resources to achieve optimal care for your client. This you would able to do if you have a complete knowledge of what your patients would require.
It's well documented that when non-medical try to rule the roost, they fail miserably, putting patient safety and health at huge risk. Examples abound in the NHS/ UK.
France +Germany who have largely doctors heading their organizations have better indices in relation to patient experience and important stats like cancer cure and public health systems in place, which ensure a fairly healthy general population.

The US may boast of state of the art treatments and medical care. But there's such a variation in health care indices. This is largely due to a capitalist (insurance)
based healthcare system which focuses on profit rather than general public health. This was reiterated by a documentary, I watched awhile ago, when in midwest USA, people drove for 6hrs to queue as early as 3:00am for free opthalmology care provided for, by a charity. That doesn't happen in the NHS yet. Things may well change due to new initiatives being introduced.

In the interim, you may need some "down-time" on your own, maybe a month or so, simply to clear ur head and come to a decision prayerfully. Get counsellors if you flow that way.

Divorce is rather a huge step. But I understand the daily grind of always apologizing in speech/ manner for her wrong perception of your family's view of her, can become disabling at some point.

Hopefully you get the right strategy to use and avoid the initial issues raised above.

Following the "pet ur wifey"advice, won't get rid of these issues on the long term. Simply will fester till someone cracks..... sometimes rather fatally!!! And as a father, you don't want the children suffering from their mother's lack of balance.

[Does she suffer from episodes of paranoia in other scenarioshuh May need psychy help......simply wondered]
