The only reason you are not giving your best in this marriage is simply because you focus on his lapses. Please shift your focus and everything will change. What I mean is this, take a pen and write out the things you appreciate your husband, even if the list is small..... Everything is energy. Therefore shift your energy to those things you like about him. I know it's not gonna be easy as your mind will sometimes drift back. But if you can consciously tell your mind to quiet itself everytime it tries to bring you back to the things your husband lack. If you can shift your focus consciously to what you appreciate bout your husband for at least 90days straight. You'll see tremendous changes.
The only and only reason y you're not feeling the marriage it's because you're focused on the negatives n lack of your husband. Change your focus madam and change your life. You can start with simple stuffs like daily gratitude journal. .. Say (God I'm extremely happy and grateful that my husband is an intelligent man, provides etc....#smile) do that with sincere smiles.

The show is so dead that there is nothing to update. For those coming to read without sharing observations, may your destiny keep getting denied the way you're denying others of your point of view. My dear we do visit him as they are both in the same state. But I don't sleep over. All the kids will visit him and he'll pray for us as well as pray that God changes our mom. But she doesn't lift her voice to even pray for him even once. If she sees him, she passes like he doesn't exist. I know this cos sometimes extended family functions bring them together.

Op sorry bout ur marital situation. One or two Nigeria dad has always been in ur situation. My dad was no exception. My mom doesn't smile when it comes to cash n painted n still paint my dad pretty bad. Turning us against him. But we knew better. Lol. Everyone of us love my dad way more than her. We give him things more before we give her. Because the truth always reveals itself. Your kids won't turn against you. They may not listen to u now cos of fear of her. My dad paid our fees n would give us the little he had without complaining. Mom would always nag n paint him bad. They are separated though. Money issue separated them. Ur even lucky. My dad retired n while he was waiting to be paid, she started treating him badly. Wouldn't give him food bla bla bla. He zoomed off when he collected his gratuity. But he kept check for monthly feeding because she refused to relocate with him. She goes about telling anyone who cares to listen that he didn't give her a dime which is a lie. Even now, she's financially better than him cos she didn't contribute a dime to anything that concerns him or we the kids. But as God would have it, we visit her Dec n other holidays, but my dad gets the cash from us while she gets our presence more. Every one sibling work with the mindset that she has cash so she doesn't need ours. We give our dad rather.

I remember when I got my first job before I was prompted to go do my masters. I was just earning about 210k and my mom was asking me to go and marry. I felt I needed to establish myself before getting married. My standard was to get a house and a car and some good ledger balance before tying the knot. 4yrs after , now, my pay slip is something else I never imagined and I think it's high time I did settle down... But when i look around , I see ladies coming only for what I have. I'm a fine young man, barely 30, no doubts, but will I find someone genuine . Ladies are something else these days and I wish I had married earlier on.

Firstly I want to thank God for this year 2019. It started with a breakup of which I cried my eyes out. But in the midst of the storm, God showed up and blessed me with my dream man exactly as I asked God. As if that wasn't enough. God now blessed me with a new job times ten my previous salary. As if that wasn't enough, Boo of three months proposed to me. Wedding has been fixed. I'm a 2020 bride. Everything ends in praise. Thanks be to God. My advice is simple. Your subconscious mind has been programmed to either believe that there's a force somewhere, thereby you attract to you your dominant thoughts.
