2).Spending hours watching BBN and even going to the extent of spending their hard earned money on billboards and tea shirts just to show support for someone who has added no value to the society

3). Duping people online and deceiving yourself that you are actually working.

The worst part about the bolded bit is that they aren't paid to support these people, rather they pay to support them. When that fellow won the money some days back some bozos were so happy you would think he was going to give them half of his prize money personally.

This particular dumbo claiming to be sacked probably really wanted to watch it. What she hoped it would add to her life as she watched it remains a mystery. She deserves it.

The one where a woman claimed to have seen a vision about a church theme. She was so enthusiastic about it but it seemed rather unlikely with the response her fellow women in the church were giving. Then the next guy to step up wanted to beat her testimony. He spent 15 minutes just trying to tell us he was alone at home because his kids are in uni, he went on to tell us their various jamb scores, we really needed to know his wife was in Ethiopia, blah, blah, blah, he's in a large home alone. OK. Lame way to brag. At the end of it he simply wanted to tell us that he's the one opening the gate for himself. (Do I need to mention the time he came to testify about a dog that fell into his father's grave before they put the coffin in it? Soooooo dumb as there was no testimony, he just wanted to tell us that.)Then the next woman who came on stage wanted everyone to know that she was not left out of it, she mentioned that she likes to fly, that she doesn't use transport. "You know, I don't like to use transport". Isn't air travel a means of transport? I never understood her point until someone mentioned that she was referring to road transportation as"transport" which is stupid not to mention conceited. I'm very serious about these three dumb "testimonies". It felt like each was coming up to try and give a more exciting story than the previous testifier. The last one is actually funny because of her emphasis on transport and how importantly she said it when it actually is stupid.

What you need understand is that at no time did we beg English people to give us a language. Before Britain arrived here we had our own languages, government, education system, nations,etc. All our instutions were subverted and a new identity given us.

The reason we need pay attention to our native languages is because we claim to be independent and free. Independent people speak their language.

I don't castigate anybody because of their English, unless your're making a schorlarly debate. In that case I would expect the person to at least speak or write in good English showing he/she read their books. Speaking English fluently alone doesn't equate to intelligence or even education, though, we're conditioned to think that way as slaves, not realizing Russians, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese, are also educated. Yet, they speak no Engllish or French.

Speaking English or any other language fluently does translate to intelligence.

What you have in Nigeria is people who cannot even read, write or speak their native language(s) decently. Are they intelligent? Doubtful. To have been immersed in a language so long and refuse to learn its proper conjugation, etc is a sign of lack of intelligence. It is a shame. If you wish to communicate in a language then do so properly and by the rules of the language.

An IQ test measures the intelligence of a person by testing their language skills, too. It's impossible to get the full measure of a person's intelligence without knowing their approach to language, especially a lingua franca such as English.

It is not about Independence or slavery. Mensa didn't invent language but it is a criteria for intelligence , sentiment aside.

BTW, using Koreans, Chinese, etc as examples compared to Nigeria is pointless because they all speak one language form. Let's use the micrometer screw gauge to measure the thickness of a fingernail, and not a trundle wheel.

This particular princess doesn't have a live in nanny, she takes care of her two kids on her own while fulfilling royal obligations. I have seen photos of her running after her older son while heavily pregnant with this baby. When she was pictured taking him to the car, her face looked visibly stressed and wornout. Will it not be a tad insensitive of me to criticize her looks at that point in time? Don't criticize what you will never understand.

She does have a nanny, thank you very much.

But it's her smoking that aged her. She always looked old prior to the babies and the British media was never short of news on it.

I could not agree with you more when it comes to how disgusting and nauseating cigarette smoke is, especially in a confined space, but where your opinion diverges from mine is on that testy subject of whether or not marijuana smoke is pleasurable to ingest, and delightful to smell in the air, as I feel is the case.

All the same, I will need to ponder over this matter whilst performing some impromptu analytical tests, in preparation for revisiting this learned forum with my findings at 0900 hours Zulu time tomorrow.

They'll claim to be company execs if interviewed. However, they need immediate immersion in hot conc fluoroantimonic acid, then a shower off with some benzene.

In states where weed is legal, there are VERY strict limitations on WHERE one can indulge, just as in most states it is illegal to walk down the street holding an open can of beer, so if you are worried about becoming "collateral damage" from stoner's fragrant fumes, have no fear, young grasshopper, for you are safe, and will never encounter stoners at work in public, UNLESS the date happens to be April 20th, in which case all bets are off and you might as well go with the flow, and get loaded with the crew around you.

What do you have to say about tobacco smokers? Aren't they everywhere and doing the same thing as these ones? Smoke is smoke. People smoke in their cars, in their homes, public toilets, everywhere you can think, even when hiking. I'm not specific about weed users- though theirs smells the worst and induces nausea and headaches- but all smokers because they're constantly destroying clean air for others. What is good about that?

Looking at that mushroom of smoke hovering over their heads, I wonder why people complain about oil exploration and its damage on the environment. Imagine people doing that everywhere all the day long at different locations. Disgusting.


My "fear" isn't "collateral damage", but that I just don't want to get nauseous and smell those horrible smells and I believe people who produce such smells should have chunks of their flesh torn out of them while they're living. Why? Because they're stupid and insensitive. How can anybody do that to other people? It's like eating garlic, speaking to people and spraying garlic juice all over them without caring.

On drunks. A drunk is a danger firstly to himself, hopefully if he drinks enough nobody will have him to worry about. But a smoker, especially ones who smoke things that make them high, is capable of hurting infinite bodies around him with his carcinogenic exhalations. Firstly, through second hand smoke. Secondly, it becomes a criminal to keep up its entertainment. Lastly, as a social menace who makes taxes so high.

I would rather sit at a restaurant where somebody is drinking than one with a smokers corner.

There are ZERO medicinal uses for tobacco, and indeed distilled nicotine is one of the most potent poisons known to science. Virtually ZERO medical benefits are to be derived from copious alcohol consumption, which also is also associated with elevated risks of triggering terminal liver disease, along with a host of other documented health complications brought on by alcohol addiction.

Non smokers do not care about how intoxicated alcoholics become. Neither do they care about liver damage that is the their supposed portion.

That is the business of alcoholics.

But no amount of mudslinging toxicity reports for alcoholism will make non smokers hate alcoholics, because they are so much better than smokers who pass on second hand smoke to everybody in their vicinity.

Nobody cares about smokers killing themselves from smoking, but why do they have to bring everybody else into it? We don't care if marijuana is natural and cigarettes have tar in them, we just don't want to smoke with smokers for various reasons.

How do smokers feel comfortable puffing away when they know not everybody wants to smell their smoke or is tolerant to it?

We're sick of hearing about how natural it is. How natural is it for a set of people to modify clean air to make it dirty and polluted for other people?

Tobacco and marijuana represent the same things to a non smoker. Both are a nuisance that should be punishable by death.
