bixton: The cause of that is level of groundwater beneath the house. The flood water has increased the level of the water probably in an unanticipated way, that's why; meaning the DPC level is on the low side. Possible solution(s) is to do a rich concrete mix of desired thickness with a mixture of water sealant cement(used by tilers) to be place on a DPM. There are various types and sizes(the water sealant) but you should buy that one which the pack is big and not the sachet size. It's quite expensive.
The other one is to de-roof the house and increase the height of the DPC and make all corrections upwards before re-installing the roof members.
Good luck. Woow. Thanks for the insight. |

bixton: If I may ask.... What is the level of water outside the building in the compound? About some few meters high but not high enough to enter in the house. The building is a ground floor structure. 4 room bungalow. |

bixton: Is the house just a ground floor structure or storey building?
If water got into the house via the foundation(sub-structure) then it means that the building is sitting on a place where underground water runs and the release of the water from the dam just raised the water level. But all the same, the buildings' foundation is on the low side.
Another thing......when you say all the tiles opened up. That is just an indication of low quality work. There's no sufficient cement when they screed the floor before placing the tiles.
When you intend building your house ensure that your foundation is quite high. And if there is any water on the surrounding environment ensure the height of your foundation is by 3 blocks. Thanks for this. Any idea how we can resolve the issue? Although her foundation is pretty high though, about 3 blocks above ground as you suggested that was why we were surprised water could get thru the foundation. Could it mean the foundation was not well sand filled and rammed?? Would including a nylon in the German floor stop this kind of stuff from happening in a new building?? Thanks again |

Good afternoon all,
We have an undeveloped property in Mangoro, When the rains got very heavy coupled with the opened dam, water entered into our neighbors house from the Foundation, All the tiles opened up. Affected 2 rooms and the parlor.
What could be the issue and any insight to how to get ti resolved.
We are thinking of continuing our own property cos we are in the foundation stage, Kindly advise on what to do so that we dont have that kind of issue in our own house when we done.
Thanks in advance |

specter: Write a letter to their company secretary and head of legal. Be diplomatic in your letter. If they refuse to accede to your demands, either bring an Originating application to compel them at the magistrate court, or proceed for specific performance at the high court.
Guess you sim priceless as you do use it for business and banking. Include that in your letter and let them know each moment you are offline, you are losing funds and the good will of your clients.
Trust you have blocked them number with your bank's to avoid story that touches the brain.

For me it's not about the virginity, ita about the character.
Alot of virgin ladies usually have this feeling of entitlement.
Make God help us |

Easybela: I was one myself but hubby wasn't. The first girl he dated,it didn't work out between them. I happen to be the second woman he has touched. Unplanned situations can make you lose yours, some didn't just decide to lose theirs. Its no big deal anyways, whether virgin or not, character should be focused more on. Exactly |

ernie4life: So I was doing a quarterly review of my portfolio and my numerous fund managers, I decided to track all fund performance for the last working day of September which is the end of last quarter, so below is a rank of how our fund managers performed that day.
For this quarter, treasury bills rate is dropping gradually and I don't see any reason for rates to increase anytime soon. I told a friend some weeks back that judging from the way that longer tenors in treasury bills was been over subscribed, that means the market anticipates drop in rates, if that is true that means rates for this quarter will be lower than last quarter Thanks for this information. Is possible to get the average rate of the companies per quarter? |

amjustme2: When I first reported their recent delays, some people thought it was my fault. Now almost everyone have same experience.
Now when I top up: 1. I do it before 12pm
2. Send them mail 1 hour after Initial evidence of payment email.
3. Send them mail or call again before 4pm.
I have tried this twice and my payment reflected Next morning.
I can not give them space to play with my sweat. Thansks for the info |

emmanuelewumi: They just sent my statement of account, after sending them emails to that effect yesterday morning and this morning which they never sent to me.
Until I sent another not too friendly email at the close of business today at 5pm. And after coming here to get email addresses in order to escalate the issue.
Surprising at 5.50pm, my statement of account was sent to me, reflecting the fund but the fund was posted today. Too much customer is worrying them. Had to call them today after 6 days of non reflection |
