Haykeenzy: Hello all,
I'm trying to invest in mutual fund for d first time via FBN EDGE,
But I'm surprised I will be charged 2,000 naira extra to top up my FBN EDGE account.
Why 2k. How much is the interest that I will be charged that high amount. I'm confused. I noticed that too. I decided to use the direct transfer method for top up. Am still learning the ropes though But has anyone notice the drop in the interest lately. Is this a general issue?? |

For FBN MMF,
if you want to invest with them,
Ensure they open your account for you before you transfer the cash and ensure to put your customer I.d in the description when making the payment.
I dont check the payment everyday, I just ensure have a base interest rate use that to calculate. Although they have the daily interest sheet on their website.
I had a good experience with them when I was opening my account was credited within 24 hrs even though I did the transfer on Sunday by Monday it was already there and running. |

Just because you were born into a family of witches, hence, your experience in matters like these doesn't make you intelligent. Apologies madam. But this is too weighty now. Barrytone: it took me over 6months to understudy and commence tbills trading, I have not understudy mmf so cant advice. I invest on tbills monthly as I end salary then I use the upfront to survive so therefore I cant afford to tie down that upfront. just began understudying bdc biz. it seems cool, when am satisfied will delve to bdc. meanwhile there is a thread for mmf. locate the thread and read up. on apologies, I learnt a lot here and owe the house everything I know, someone answered my questions when I started. you are always welcome. Oh thanks... I appreciate.. I already studied the MMF thread and started with it.. Would keep studying TBill although I tried buying some using Wema Bank but they messed me up.. Told me they would get back to me but never did. I would just keep studying till I get it right. Twale to you boss |

Barrytone: please sir, what do u want me to explain further? whatever generated the savings, is it a regular occurrence, if so, set a limit and save a compulsory amount to grow your capital. When I was in the streets, I made it compulsory to save 50% of my income and groove 20%, 30% for AOB. that 50% built me a house in few years after a failed electoral ambition. Till date I appreciate that building than any other one I have owned because it came from real street sweat. imagine I knew about tbills back then in 2006, I would be retiring now. Thanks very much for the clarification. I already do as you advise.. But I would reinforce the resolve. Thanks again... One more question sir, Money market seem to generate as more interest as the TBill. I dont see any major difference apart from Tbills paying up from while MMF dont. Can you give your opinion on which is better? Apologies if I seem to be troubling you, just trying to help myself Thanks in advance |

Barrytone: only way to max out profit is by compounding; reinvesting profits of more than 100k. if the source of the 500k is recurring then you can draw a plan stick to it. There is nothing new under the sun so it will definitely replay or you recreate it when you arrive but I doubt if you will want it then. The source of the 500k is savings. Can you please explain better? Thanks for your input though. I appreciate |

amdman: The most important factor in determining the lifespan of a vehicle is the maintenance, not necessarily how old it is.
Most people commute long distances in Canada, including to work, holidays, etc, so high mileage vehicles are a norm. A 2010 vehicle with clean title having less than 100k km is a rarity. ThanksFor the clarification |
