Christianity Etc › Re: Where Is Ishmael In Prophethood by TenQ(op): 1:54am On Jan 15, 2023
I fear for you on the day of judgement.
Why?
1. Our paradise are different: yourse is filled mainly with sex orgies.
2. All Muslims are promised hell fire
3. Allah will appear in a strange shape to you (which you will reject)
4. Allah will REMOVE you from the fire by replacing you with a Christian. Does this make sense to you

Lukuluku69:
Whatever you think Islam is, is your business alone. The last time I checked, there are over a billion Hindus in the world who think what you are thinking, so whatever your thoughts are, you are definitely not alone.

As for me and my Faith, there are over a billion of us with a firmfaith in what we believe, to us our Faith and to you, your faith.

As for Prophethood, Allah sends Prophets and Messengers to every Nation, every Language of the World not only to Israelites whatever you like you can make of that. To you, your thoughts, actions and inactions and to me mine. No where in the Quran do you read that Prophethood was Limited to a Nation but keep doing what you are doing for I know you must have come across other Quranic Prophets names but your whatever it is has blinded you from mentioning it.

A Day is coming we will all stand before our Maker and give Accounts.
Let me ask you a question.
Jews Worship the God of Abraham
The Christians worship the God of Abraham
The Sabians worship the constellations (stars and moon)

Qur'an 2.62
Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.

Is this another satanic verse?
1. How would the Sabians go to paradise?
2. If the Jews will go to paradise, why are they hated so much by Islam?
3. If the Christians are going to paradise, why must they convert to Islam or pay you Muslims jizya in humiliation?

Please note:
1. The Qur'an is clear and unambiguous
2. The Qur'an doesn't speak about a certain sect of the Jews or Christians or Sabians.
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Is Ishmael In Prophethood by TenQ(op): 1:34am On Jan 15, 2023
I asked
1. Do you absolutely believe that Mohammed is the prophet from the descendant of Ishmael!
2. Do you also believe that Ismail and Abraham are both prophets who built the Kaaba at Mecca?

Lukuluku69:
Jonah was Edom. He never preached amongst Jews.

I can quote from the Quran but you don't believe in it contents that's why I use your Bible to appeal to you.

The Quran called Ishmael a Prophet, do you believe that? So, why should I quote what you don't believe in? Does that make sense to you?

Your last Two question doesn't make any sense considering the fact that you are in a Convo with a Muslim!

As for Ninveh, read what Wiki has to say below.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nineveh
Jonah is a Jew my dear.

Jonah 1:9:
"And he said unto them, I am a Hebrew ; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land."

Jonah ran away from preaching to the Enemy of the Jews (Nineveh) so that God will destroy them for he knew that God is merciful.

Jona 3:10; 4:1-4:
"God saw what they had done— that they had given up their evil ways— so he changed his mind and did not carry out the destruction he had threatened. But this really upset Jonah, and he became very angry. He prayed to the Lord and told him, “Lord, wasn't this what I said when I was back home? That's why I ran away to Tarshish in the first place! For I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, very patient and full of kindhearted love, who relents from sending disaster. So just kill me now, Lord, because I'd prefer to die than to live!” The Lord responded, “Do you have a good reason to be so angry?”"

Come and learn from the people of the book!
LOL!!

Can you see how Allah is wrong again?
Qur'an 14:4
And We did not send any messenger but with the language of his people, so that he might explain to them clearly; then Allah makes whom He pleases err and He guides whom He pleases and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Is Ishmael In Prophethood by TenQ(op): 1:25am On Jan 15, 2023
Lukuluku69:
Lol

Stop reading your meanings into stuff.

You call it exclusion but I say the Time has not come.

When Jesus said the Kingdom of God will be taken from you(Jews) was he changing God's mind too?
You think Islam is the kingdom of God!?
Islam leads to Hell fire

Qur'an 19:71
وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَّقْضِيًّا

Just show me a single prophet of God that is one tenth as vile as Mohammed?

Jesus was speaking about the Gentiles who are not related to Abraham!
You should have read the parable of Jesus that led to the statement rather than fabricating what is not there
Mark 21:33-44

Lukuluku69:
Every of Abraham's children were blessed with Prophethood but at different time and place but they were all blessed which is in accordance with the Quran. Ishmael, Isaac, the Six other Children from Keturah were all blessed. To let you know, Jethro housed and marry his daughter to Moses and he taught Moses how to judge among other things and the Israelites then accepted Jethro as equals (Read your Bible) Balaam was another one though the Israelites killed him for calling them out and labelled in a False one just like they did Jesus.
Blessing and Prophethood are different things.
1. It is your Qur'an that limits Prophethood to the descendants of Isaac and Jacob not the Bible except you are willing to concede that Qur'an29:27 is a fabrication.

2. What is the name of the books given to the prophet's of Islam other than the Torah, Zabur and Injeel?

3. The Qur'an is a CLEAR book, easy to understand YET Allah sent a verse that EXCLUDED the descendants of Ishmael while speaking to Mohammed .

It doesn't make any sense!
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Is Ishmael In Prophethood by TenQ(op): 12:55am On Jan 15, 2023
Lukuluku69:
You are reading too many meaningless stuff into this and it is already bordering on irritation.

All Prophets were sent to their people except the LAST ONE.
So, Jonah was sent to the Jews?

Lukuluku69:
Ishmael was a Prophet among his people.
Who are the people of Ishmael?

Lukuluku69:
All Prophet from Isaac line including Isaac were sent to their people but they had more for their Nation was chosen as a model of things to come but they messed it up thru repeated backslidings. Jeremiah called them Aholah and Aholibah. TWO WHORING SISTERS in Judea and Samaria. As such, God rejected them and chooses another Nation.

Esau line had Jonah and Job sent to their people.
Why wouldn't you muddle up scriptural history?
You most likely don't know that Samaria is the capital of the northern kingdom of Israel and Judah is the capital of southern Israel! SMH! Jeremiah prophesied to the two kingdoms of Israel.
Jeremiah preached repentance!

If God rejected them, how come in the old testament God still sent several prophets to the Jews ?

Here is the list of prophets AFTER Jeremiah
Zephaniah
Huldah
Nahum
Habakkuk
Ezekiel
Daniel
Zerubbabel
Nehemiah
Haggai
Zechariah
Malachi

Can you see why Allah told Mohammed to consult with the people of the book!?

Half knowledge is destructive my dear!

Lukuluku69:
That Ishmeal was not accorded prophet hood by the Jews was simply because they knew from their scriptures that the Ensign of the whole people rest in his house.

To let you know this, aside Jews, all other ethnicity arising from Abraham Children all embrace Islam. The Midian, the Kedar, Tema, Joshtan,Nebioths all excepts the stiffnecks: the News.
So, if all Americans become gay, it proves that they are right!?
SMH!

I wish you had found an evidence for your argument from the Qur'an but it seems you have none. Therefore, I'll digress a very little bit on the questions.

Jonah is a Jew and a prophet!

1. Do you absolutely believe that Mohammed is the prophet from the descendant of Ishmael!
2. Do you also believe that Ismail and Abraham are both prophets who built the Kaaba at Mecca?

Lukuluku69:
Allah does what He wills. Just like Jehovah made the children of the barren and desolate more than the married. Check Isaiah 54 you will see it there.

It is recorded albeit in undertones that Esau house had TWO in Jonah and Job. You can as well ask, why only TWO?

Person's of Faith don't ask why God did or say what He says, you just belief and follow. That is obidience.
Are you saying that Allah EXCLUDED Ismail's descendants from Prophethood
But along the line, Allah changed his mind?

Qur'an29:27
And We gave to Him Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture. And We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous.

Lukuluku69:
Did you read my post at all before you came up with this?

After ishmeal, no other prophet came from his line until the Mission of Prophet Muhammad. So, why would the Quran say otherwise?

From Isaac many prophets yet Moses called them Stiff neck, Jeremiah, Isaiah and many other Israelites prophet have terrible words to describe them.

Esau had two recorded in his line in Jonah and Job, so if a solitary Prophet was mentioned in Ishmael line, so what? God does what He wills.
The number of prophets in a person's descendant doesn't matter it could be just ONE or many.

The Question is why did Allah EXCLUDE the descendants of Ismail from Prophethood .
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Is Ishmael In Prophethood by TenQ(op): 11:46pm On Jan 14, 2023

You didn't respond!

Here is the post again!

Thank you for your attempt.

Qur'an 19:54
And make mention in the Scripture of Ishmael. Lo! he was a keeper of his promise, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet.

Qur'an 19:54 Says
1. Ishmael was a prophet
2. Ishmael was a messenger

Unfortunately, the questions were:
1. How is it that from the seed of Ismail no prophet nor scriptures is ordained?
2. Is there any Quranic verse that shows that the Prophethood and scriptures is also for the children of Ismael
?

The questions were about the Children/Seed of Ishmael not about Ishmael himself.

Genesis 17:20 has nothing to do with Prophethood but of increase in population and prosperity (blessing) of the descendants of Ishmael.

Are you saying that Prophethood is inherited?

THE QUESTIONS AGAIN:
The firstborn of Abraham is Ismail, however according to Allah in Qur'an29:27, the Prophethood and scriptures bypassed him to Isaac and his descendants alone.

Qur'an29:27
And We gave to Him Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture. And We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous.

First come, first served, and I am sure you now that, life funnily enough, has this turn by turn thing about it. Now, when we are done with you honestly, sincerely, truthfully and correctly answering my questions, then you'll see and find out how irrelevant your questions are.

Personal text: Jesus is not a theologian. He is God who told stories.
I answered EACH of your questions!
Didn't you see the answers?

Please answer mine just as I've answered yours!

TenQ:
Let's break it down
1. Jude was writing to the Church of Christ because of the menace of FALSE teachers corrupting the Church. He saw within the church people and practices that were worthy of condemnation, including rejecting authority and seeking to please themselves. In response to these errors, Jude marshaled much biblical history to make clear what he thought of it all.

2. Your questions
#1. Who was Jude referencing in Jude 1:7?
Jude was Referencing Sodom and Gomorrah who practiced WICKEDNESS, FORNICATION and HOMOSEXUALITY

As an example
Gen 19:4-5:
"But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: and they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them."

#2a. What was Jude's source (i.e. where was Jude quoting from when Jude 1:7 was penned)?

Jude was Referencing
Gen 13:13: "But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly."
Gen 18:20: "And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomor´rah is great, and because their sin is very grievous,"
Gen 18:32: "And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake."
Gen 19:5: "and they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them."

#2b. What was Jude or Apostle Peter before him, battling with that necessitated them to launch their attacks with writing their scathing letters to the body of Christ

False TEACHERS teaching the Church of Christ that SIN is Okay and even denying Christ and the Father
Jude 1:4:
"For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."

Jude 1:8:
"Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities."

#3. When the historical contexts of Lev 18:22 and Lev 20:13 are examined, what exactly are the verses frowning at and guarding against?

Lev 20:13:
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be on them."

Lev 18:22:
"‘And do not lie with a male as with a woman, it is an abomination."

Homosexuality as practiced by the Heathen Nations.

#4. What point are you feebly trying to make with quoting Romans 1:26-28?

Rom 1:26-28:
"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;"

God gave some people up to their VILE act of homosexuality

#5. Why before 1946, didn't the word 'homosexual or homosexuality' ever appear in any of all the English translations of the Bible?
Because the verb did not exist in English language as of 1946 that time even though the act had being in existence since the Bible times.

The fact that the word for Snow, Cake and Homosexuality did NOT exist in the Yoruba dictionary till the white man came does not mean that they didn't exist: does it?

I have answered your questions in detail, now answer mine.

After Ishmael no other Prophet/s appear in his lineage until the Mission of Prophet Muhammad.

And if you read the Quran and understand what you read, it clearly states that the Jewish Branch of Abraham House were favoured more in terms of having a truckload of Prophets to also call them back from their erring ways.

This point was also state in one of Isaiah's prophecy that the "Barren" will have more in terms of adherents than the married. The "barren" here are the Arabs who were not blessed with many prophets unlike the Jewish branch and it should be noted that despite all the prophets sent their ways, they are still missing the way of God.

Reprobate coins!
Are you saying that Allah made a mistake in Qur'an29:27?

Qur'an29:27
And We gave to Him Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture. And We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous.

Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.
-- Isaiah 54:1
KJV Holy Bible

The Barren is the Ishmael branch of Abraham house.

In Isaac, the Bible regaled us with the numerous prophets from his Line, in Esau, we read about Jonah and Job.

From the Line of Abraham other wife Keturah, we read about Jethro, Median but Ishmael was the only prophet in his line until the mission of Prophet Muhammad as such in prose, Isaiah correctly labeled it "Barren" whose time will come to bear.

Read from Isaiah 50 thru 60 the recurring theme is that of a New Prophet from the villages of Kedar.
I guess you didn't read the questions at all.

The firstborn of Abraham is Ismail, however according to Allah in Qur'an29:27, the Prophethood and scriptures bypassed him to Isaac and his descendants alone.

2. Is there any Quranic verse that shows that the Prophethood and scriptures is also for the children of Ismael?

FYI:
The Jews and Christians do not regard Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ishmael as Prophets or Messangers of God. They are called Partriachs!

Therefore the scripture you quoted in Isaiah is meaningless with respect to Prophethood.
The only promise of God to Abraham with respect to Ishmael is that he will also be blessed to be a great nation.

Why did Allah skip Ishmael from Prophethood even though he is the firstborn of Abraham?

Well it's not about corruption the secret of this matter is that the first four world powers (Egypt, Iran, Iraq and Russia) are trying to form alliance against the Western world so they are using religion to recruit fighters but then Saudi Arabia where the religion actually sprout from is playing diplomacy because Saudi Arabia was never one of them.

So even in their midst there is division because they're still quarrelling among themselves on what happened back then when Russia (Persia) sacked Iraq (Babylon)

I only pity anyone thinking this is about God because Islam has nothing to do with the God of Abraham it was all a fabrication of a selfish man who wanted to impose himself on his people as a prophet of God but was killed in the process and his disciples who were generals at war fought bitterly among themselves to succeed him.
They only agreed on five things the man did in his lifetime but as for their doctrines there is lots and lots of contradictions! undecided
I agree with you.
We can only pray for them that by the mercies of God that the shackles of Islam will break from millions as we preach salvation through Christ to them.

Dear NNTR, please answer these questions DIRECTLY (no reinterpretation) please

1. What does strange flesh mean here?
Jude 1:7:
"Even as Sodom and Gomor´rah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh (homosexuality), are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."

2. What does this mean:
A man lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman as found in the scripture below?

Lev 20:13:
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be on them."

3. What does it mean:
a. Do not lie with a male as with a woman?

Lev 18:22:
"‘And do not lie with a male as with a woman, it is an abomination."

4. With a similar scripture to the above
Lev 18:23:
"And you shall not lie with any animal to defile yourself with it. And a woman shall not stand before an animal to lie down to it. It is a perversion."

When is it right for a Christian to have sex with an animal?

5. What does these phrases mean?
a. "Their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature"
b. "likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another"

Unfortunately, Muslims have convinced themselves that both the Torah and the Injeel are corrupted.

Islamic literatures are even enough to expose the deception within Islam

And he acquired as much women for himself as possible, he chose the most beautiful women for himself and he made sure nobody married any of his wives after his death, even his child bride he rendered her celibate for the rest of her life. Why did muhammad forbid his wives from re-marrying after his death when islamically widow are allowed to marry?

He acquired a lot of this too

He was more powerful than Allah
Fully in agreement!

Mohammed is actually aka Allah: he is the masquerade under the garment of Allah

Thank you Maximus for this!
MaxInDHouse:
God made all the eight Abraham's sons great nations:

Ishmael
Isaac
Zimran
Jokshan
Medan
Midi·an
Ishbak
Shuah. Genesis 25:1-2

The reason why God called Abraham out from among his people was to establish pure worship through Abraham's lineage {Genesis 12:1-3} so when Abraham had Ishmael in his oldage he concluded that God's promise will be fulfilled through Ishmael but God told him that Ishmael will be great because he is also a son born to Abraham but the covenant will not be established through another woman's son rather it's going to be the one born by Sarah!

Then God said to Abraham: “As for your wife Sarʹai, you must not call her Sarʹai, because Sarah will become her name. I will bless her and also give you a son by her; I will bless her and she will become nations; kings of peoples will come from her.” At this Abraham fell facedown and began to laugh and to say in his heart: “Will a man 100 years old have a child born to him, and will Sarah, a woman 90 years old, give birth?” So Abraham said to the true God: “O that Ishʹma·el might live before you!” To this God said: “Your wife Sarah will definitely bear you a son, and you must name him Isaac. And I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant to his offspring after him. But as regards Ishʹma·el, I have heard you. Look! I will bless him and will make him fruitful and will multiply him very, very much. He will produce 12 chieftains, and I will make him become a great nation. However, I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this appointed time next year.” Genesis 17:15-21

Note God's words in the highlighted green and how Abraham doubted in highlighted brown then also how Abraham tried to change God's promise from Sarah's son to Ishmael but God insisted that the covenant will be established with the Son that Sarah will born for Abraham!

That's why no prophet of God was mentioned in any other nation except among Israelites.

Thanks, God bless you and may you have PEACE! smiley
Over to you haekymbahd.
Can you respond to the scripture presented by Maximus?

Does this not confirm that God deliberately excluded Ishmael and his descendants from Prophethood?

He collected his followers gold as offerings. He claimed that the earth belongs to him and to Allah etc
One person (Mohammed) collect 20% of ALL war booties and Muslims will want us to believe that Mohammed was not rich!?

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said:

"And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet."
(QS. Maryam 19: Verse 54)

"And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing."
(QS. Maryam 19: Verse 55)

Genesis 17:20
New International Version
And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation.

Where is the great nation God made out of Ishmael or did he lie?

1. How is it that from the seed of Ismail no prophet nor scriptures is ordained?
2. Is there any Quranic verse that shows that the Prophethood and scriptures is also for the children of Ismael?

For Catholics church it is not about money, remember they were a government so money was not an issue. Rather they wanted absolute control and authority.

And who is that person who is always seeking to take over the world? Satan!
If the Rich man could turn back the hands of the clock he would have asked that his folks prayed for him.

And may those in the shackles of Allah use their freewill in the right way when they are free, because many of them are enjoying the temporary gains like polygamy and cruelty to women and humanity that Islam permits. You know many love darkness and hate light
Islam is a cult useful also to amass wealth: this is a primary consideration for them.

Leave that one. It is the devil's selling point to Catholics just like the one he gave jws of saying no hell fire.

It is just a Catholics wish and like their evil jw brother, they are hanging on the twisting of scriptures to wit repentance which they call penance and Natural Justice of petty crimes do not carry death penalty. Lm

Which after the devil's manipulation has given them a very false hope. A hope that guarantees their death but unfortunately the Catholic loves this hope since he loves being evil, rather than walk in the Way of Life!
I agree with you. Many Catholics are not aware that purgatory is not in the Bible
