Husband dey scarce for market these days o! I don't know why the OP is complaining. The trust had long since evaporated in your relationship if you had to skulk around and stalk his apartment by 5am. He may as well be asking himself if he can trust you sef. The fact that he still wants to marry you is a good sign! |
I move for the sack of the NYSC DG with immediate effect! |
T9ksy:Grow some brain cells. There's no concrete proof linking Buhari to the killings in the North and people with intelligence know this. There is concrete proof, however, that the state security apparatus failed to prevent or contain this crisis in a timely manner. What many of these cretins on Nairaland fail to realise is that if you indict Buhari for making 'inciting statements', you're also indicting GEJ and his security chiefs for failing to proactively curb the violence resulting from the 'inciting statements'. |
Qrous:They buried him at sea so there would be no visible grave for his followers to turn into a shrine. They'd never have buried him on US soil and I heard the Saudis turned down his body. |
faliowino:Why do you dolts think that photoshopped image was released by the US Govt? There's no way on God's green Earth that Obama would make this kind of address to the American people if he wasn't 100% sure they'd got their man. The backlash would be immense, and he knows it. Only a cretin would believe that bin laden is still alive. |
marvix:So if he does not perform as he said, does that mean you'll be a loser too? PS: never use tithe and tax in the same sentence again. |
marvix:How old are you? Seriously, this is childish reasoning! I am yet to see anyone here who supported Buhari and whose motive was not moving Nigeria forward. If by some miracle GEJ can shake free of his PDP impediment and actually does enough to make Nigerian improved by 2015, why would any tax paying citizen be 'losing'? |
otumfour:How does a new smartphone make you the proud owner of the previous version? It's worth noting that a large proportion of Engadget Android commenters have expressed regret at buying the original Galaxy S, thanks to Samsung's pathetic strategy in rolling out updates and the poor GPS in the phone. |
Yes o, keep posting such pictures here. I'm sure his family and friends are happy that one cretin is posting gory pics of their son on a Nigerian website. Dolt! |
kaffy4tope:Well I'm quoting you again. Bite me. Look, don't show ignorance by talking about this registration bullcrap. If you can't detect a fake idevice within 20 seconds of holding one, you deserve to be fooled. |
Sike:My friend bought an expensive ring, flew from the UK to Nigeria to propose to his gf. Unknown to him, she had been seeing someone else and she said NO (he didn't find out about the 'someone else' until the next year). As soon as she said No, he went back to the UK and threw the ring into the Thames river ![]() |
No matter which side you voted for in this elections, please re-read her story. The corps members had been receiving threats since Saturday until all hell broke loose. Two days and the Government did nothing! This is not about Politics anymore, it's about doing the right thing. The Corps members were let down by their own Government and if heads must roll, certainly some heads at the top must not be spared. At the very leAst, the NYSC DG must go. |
kaffy4tope:If I talk now they will say I have a bad mouth. |
solomto:See this olodo. NAFDAC was centuries ago. Since then, she has worked as a minister, a very incompetent one at that. What next, "Yar'Adua was a very good lecturer so all those who say he was a slow president are just haters"? |
mikeansy:Imo is already on the brink of fire, sorry. A colleague of mine came back from leave today, she had been in Owerri for the past couple of days. According to her, the support for Rochas is massive, even the 20,000 votes difference between Ohakim and Rochas is due to massive rigging. She shared tales of late night meetings, desperate bribes being paid to induce voters, massive thumb printing and other nefarious means to ensure one of the worst governors in Nigeria is kicked out. According to her, even the elderly people in her village proudly tell her that they voted for 'chicken' (APGA party symbol). As we speak, youths are on edge in Imo state, waiting for any sign that Ohakim's rigging machine is gearing up. It seems the people of Imo are not as cowardly as their Abia State brothers afterall. |
RoadStar:At least we both agree that for whatever reason, the woman was a failure as a minister. And as I said before, if a street urchin like yourself can see that Nigerians are 'unredeemable', why did your much vaunted professor commit our money to such a silly scheme that you claim was doomed to failure from the start? The woman wrote a whiny letter at the FEC only when it became crystal clear that the balance of power was shifting and when the informed gist was that Yar'Adua would not be returning for a while. If she was so courageous, why did she not take her rebranding campaign to the members of the FEC? You butt-lickers are utter scum. Get out of my sight! |
mens dept:Nigerian forum where Nigeria is discussed. Why should one be from Anambra State before one spots a turkey. Abeg grow up jo!! Logical criticism is now being attributed to 'hating'. Nonsense. |
Onlytruth:Without the strong-arm tactics of Peter Obi, akunyili would never have even won at the primaries. Good thing for us all that this greedy, scheming woman has been discarded by the electorate even with all the APGA machinery trying desperately to rig her into power. When the list of the most incompetent ministers to ever serve in Nigeria is compiled, Dora surely will make top five! |
hillsate:I can't say I agree with you there. I have eyewitness reports of Christian mobs in Southern Kaduna joining in the killing spree last week, hacking, burning and killing muslims. In Kaduna, the morality line is blurred these days. Sending SMS messages is nothing. |
As at today, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the best smartphone on the planet. I'll still chill with my iPhone 4 until I see what Apple has in stock for ios 5 and iPhone 5. But at last, there is a very good alternative out there! Unfortunately, I used to recommend Android phones to most people (cheaper and more readily available than the iPhone 4) based on cost, but the SGS II is priced similarly to the iPhone. So it'll go down to personal choice between iOS and Android. For sheer power, though, the SGS II can't be beat ![]() |
Odunnu:This is a terrible idea no amount of 'sensitization' will change it from being a terrible idea. They won't allow me walk into the bank to buy 2000 dollars yet they won't allow me withdraw enough money to buy it from hausa man. na wa! |
So after giving these criminals an undeserved pardon/amnesty and a huge chunk of our money, they are still talking abi? Let's see if GEJ has the cojones to tackle these scum the way they deserve. |
hollandis:I must write a thesis on you. Conclusive proof now that there are also two-legged goats in our midst. Pataki, Eko Ile, Bluetooth I must insist that as the first person to comment on this post, I have the sole privilege of naming this human-goat hybrid species. It shall be called Imbecillus hollandis domesticus ![]() |
Mariory:
And didn't you read his solution where he mentioned the convocation of a sovereign national conference to determine the basis for our co-existence
That is not a realistic solution, sorry. It's best to keep targets Specific, Measurable and Realistic. |
Hehe. Since when did we take everything Soyinka says as the gospel. He isn't God. As a human being, he is entitled to his own opinion. As a respected intellectual, I respect every word he says and I know he has put some thought into his own opinions. However, in this case I disagree with him. What we need from people like Soyinka is a clear steer on how to permanently fix the problems of killings in the North. that is how to achieve sustainable peace. The killings will continue at the next 'provocation', you'll see. |
hollandis:If Tinubu did nothing in 8 years, how come he is still extremely popular in Lagos? And how was his candidate (a then unknown fashola) able to ruthlessly crush the PDP's candidate even when OBJ himself had placed the entire state resources at the beck and call of the Lagos PDP chapter? Abeg stop being a PDP stooge! |
RoadStar:You're a dolt! You talk about Akunyili being a superstar in politics. Then you babble on about NAFDAC. Is NAFDAC politics? You say she struggled to rebrand Nigeria. You call that campaign that was doomed from the start a worthwhile gesture? How did she go about it? Wasting our money on that worthless idea? Nigerians knew that the who shebang was just silly. What rebranding when we all saw the greedy woman dancing away at a 100 million naira birthday party for the then education mininister, all the while ASUU had been on strike for 3 months? What rebranding, telling us all to patronise and buy Nigeria while at the same time all her fellow ministers were travelling out for the smallest of medical ailments? Even more laughable, while you claim that this lady worked very hard to rebrand Nigeria, when she came up before the Senate and was asked to tell everyone her successes during the campaign, all she could mention was the following milestones. 1. Forced Sony to apologize to Nigerians 2. Banned District 9 movie. I don't know about you imbeciles, but as far as i am concerned this is nowhere close to being any value for the hundreds of millions (if not billions) spent. If you, a barely literate clod knows that Nigeria cannot be rebranded, why did a Professor not know this? Your comments on the FEC and her letter are rather amusing. May i remind you that this woman was employed as an Information minister? PLease judge her on her performance as a minister jo! And frankly, she was incompetent! |
jerseyboy:That road is still in a terrible state. Enough of the lies, my own brother did that route just last week. |
jerseyboy:When you grow up, finish school and get a job/start earning money, you will start paying taxes. When you start paying taxes, you will then obtain this same feeling of entitlement some of us who are your elders already feel. |
