About pcmecom The Original poster seems to have a chequered history of lies On July 13th 2007 he claimed to have just finished an MSc (biotechnology and Management(M.sc)) in the UK, and wanted to relocate to Canada https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=65979.msg1288954#msg1288954 On August 17th he's now been invited to the UK High Commision for a student visa interview and he's appealing for experienced people to help him https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=73034.msg1401562#msg1401562 September 19th he's a new student in the UK studying for an MSc https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=79317.msg1510640#msg1510640 Either he's a habitual liar, or he's living backward in time. You choose. |
pcmecom:I think most people on Nairaland have long realised that you're a barely literate rabble rouser. Are our doubts supposed to be erased just because some posturing jackass comes claiming he has had the cure for AIDS since 1998? denex:I actually agree with denex on this one. Where are all the people he has cured? Why has he only cured a few people since 1998? Did other prominent scientists like Louis Pasteur of old sit simmering in their labs, blaming others for their lack of progress? There are 4 million Nigerians living with AIDS, howm any has he treated? What i find dangerous about this man is that he seems to be actively discouraging people from taking ARVs which is the only think keeping millions of african HIV sufferers from death. Why will he be blabbing about possible organ damage from taking the drugs? I'd rather have a damaged kidney and be alive and hoping for a cure than die from AIDS. |
pcmecom:I've always considered you a barely literate buffoon. Harmless and amusing, really, but an idiot nonetheless. |
Guys, This is my first time here n this section and i'm really impressed with the wisdom you guys have amassed in this subject. So now i've decided to throw this open to the house here's a scenario. If you've got about N5m to invest in the open market what exactly would you go for? I'm not too risk averse, i just like taking acceptable risks. I'm looking at something short to medium term. i realize that the Stock market isn't a magical money doubler, but i'm pretty sure there are gains to be made out there. please respond. if there are any mouth watering IPOs i could cash in on, i'd be interested. |
Afam:It is astonishing that you'd forsake reason in your haste to throw feeble verbal jabs at your perceived opponents. This was a woman who got her class to actually Vote on something they wanted. it's not as if they named a dog mohammed, it's a teddy bear, a toy designed to be the object of love and fun. Lots of people bear the name Mohammed, so she can be forgiven for allowing their choice to stand. It makes no impression on you that some of her muslim colleagues feel she shouldnt be held for any crime. I started this thread talking about the absurdity of an action by the SUDANESE POLICE and not the entire body of muslims, and certainly not overtly condemning any religion. Why a lying scumbag like yourself seeks to drag me into the mud you currently occupy is beyond me. Idiot. |
babasin: oreshade:Did any of you even READ the article at all? The woman brought teddy bears to class and asked the children to vote the name they'd call the teddy bear. Most of the class (Muslims!) chose Mohammed. She didn't name he bear or force the name on the kids, they chose it for themselves. Even her fellow muslim teachers confirm that she didn't mean a ny harm, so what's your stress? |
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20071126/tpl-uk-sudan-prophet-43a8d4f_3.html A British woman teaching in a Sudanese school has been arrested by the Sudanese Police for allegedly 'Insulting the Prophet'. This utterly ridiculous charge came about because she let her students name a teddy bear 'Mohammed'. Read the full story from the provided link. |
Abeg, which kain adapter. It is portable for a reason. . The new one supports TV connectivity right out of the box. The old model can't beat that. the old one can't be charged via usb either. By the way, I have the old one. But the new one is quite improved.
And how exactly is connecting it to a TV 'portable'? |
Forget about DSTV! When are we gonna get 3G? 3G will be the holy grail of mobile speeds. . .fast! Even if MTN do roll out this service, their stupid tech people will olnly cater to the Nokia crowd, leaving thos eof us with PDA phones in the cold. |
Cooljoe, Kindly cast me your number that i may know how to contact you for the great slaughter. I cannot sit idly by while assailed by the boasts of a jester. When i have won the first 5 games, i'll break your jaw so you can't beg for mercy ![]() @sniperwolf Lagos. First week of december. Your utter humiliation and subjugation. do i need to say more? |
ademiller:You fucking slowpoke. I'll freely admit it's not yet proven that he actually does beat his wife, but you're saying that even if he does it's okay because that's his 'bad side' abi? A woman may quite possible be being hurt and it doesn't matter to you as long as you can sit at your TV and gaze at her husband with bovine complacency abi? I advocate that all women go public when their husbands beat 'em. In fact, they should arrange boys to beat the husbands to a pulp. man, you're the dumbest person i've stumbled across on Nairaland. You, madam, are an idiot. |
spoilt:LOL! My babe gave me the same riot act, except that at times it involved scissors and my balls ![]() Naturally, the warning was unneeded, i cannot be driven to hit a woman. that's cowardice! |
Sometimes i shudder at the things my fellow Christians do while they think they are praising God. Imagine the fellowships in my former Uni using starch to affix posters to freshly painted walls. I've seen posters advertising a miracle session right on top of a signboard with the map of the school (erected to help jambites learn the school layout). Is that not a truly terrible thing to do? You're supposed to render unto ceaser what belongs to ceaser! |
romeo:Do i HAVE to be related to her before i strive to let the truth be heard? Did anyone hear Oprah's side of the story? easimoni:That's the tragedy about Nigeria. you'll probably still see this guy grinning happily on TV doing his thing. For sure in any western country his employers would first put the show on hold, then seriously consider firing him if their investigation reveals him to be guilty. but not Nigeria. |
Sometimes i shudder at the duplicity and hypocrisy exhibited by Nigerians. When someone made an unsubstantiated (turned out to be false!) accusation against Oprah, we had many pages of Naija people abusing her and her family tree. Now someone provides a story on a nigerian celebrity and suddenly we hear the voice of caution. Nice. |
Seun:In Nigeria they would run away, yes, but return for you some other day. And this time, they'll kill you slowly, painfully and brutally. That happens almost in all cases. Even an armed robber has pride, and scampering away from a homeowner is a sure sticking point for them. Are you saying you can't kill if you have to, Seun? |
bgees:Tried for murder? You must be joking. The fact they weren't armed with guns, does that make them less lethal? They'd already cudgeled someone's stepson brutally and you expected the guy to reason normally? If you come home one day to see two men armed with cudgels raping your wife and there's a gun in your hand, you show it and the thieves start running away, would you 1) Shoot 2) Let them go? My choice is simple. i'd have shot them in the back. It's tempting to try and shoot someone in the legs, but it's such a small target. Shooting 'em in the back is a sure way to drop them. I can't see myself faulting this guy. |
The US invaded Iraq because they painted the picture that Saddam was stockpiling weapons of Mass destruction, trading with terrorists and preparing for an imminent attack on US assets. That turned out to be false, but it was a handy excuse anyway. Saddam and his sons had been killing hundreds of Iraqis for years. Do you think the US would have been able to sell the idea that they were going in to punish Uday and Qusay hussein to even their people? This is not a 'world's problem'. it is justice as far a Saudi Arabia is concerned. An opinion poll will find that a vast majority of Saudis will be happy with this judgement. they've lived under Sharia all their lives, after all. RichyBlacK:It may have skipped your mind in your haste to get in a feeble dig at me, but Saudi Arabia just isn't *any* islamic country, it's the foremost Islamic country, the bastion of Islam and the Holy land to muslims all over the world. As a Christian, this seems barbaric to me, but to Muslims it is Justice. it would amount to disregard and disrespect of Islam for the US government directly to interfere. This point is all too easy to see. Why must your hatred of all things american blind you to reason? |
RichyBlacK:I think Nigeria's social crises are far worse. So what remains at the core in Nigeria? Racism will never die out as long as people like you remain to remind us of it, to harangue us with it day in, day out. Hmm. . .you're quite the expert on America, aren't you? |
@Seun I actually do agree with Afam. the thieves put themselves in harm's way. if they stayed at home watching NBA, they'd still be alive today @deedami You have no evidence that this guy was motivated by racial hatred, yet you're all over the topic using words like 'I'm SURE' 'I just strongly subscribe' This may be amusing, but it marks you out as someone who isn't eager to use his brains. Yes, we know about the time of slavery and all that, but those times are long past. In world war 2 blacks were hardly allowed to fight in the war alongside whites, now blacks are a mainstay of the US army. Times and things have changed. Racism may still linger on in traces, but you must be aware that it's people like YOU that struggle to keep racism alive. I'll never figure black people out Ice Cube disses Bill Clinton and Hilary clinton. black community laughs. Chris Rock pokes fun at white people, black and white laugh Eminem disses Michael Jackson, black america says 'He's a Racist!!' As Chris Rock says, black people are more racist than white people. |
@RichyBlack Stop being a one-trick pony! Before i even clicked on this topic, as soon as i saw your name i just knew you were going to bring up the US, definitely in a negative light. This judgement tallies with their religion. it's not some corrupt or obscure law being invoked, it's Sharia in its pure form that's at play here. And you know it. If the US (or any other country) starts calling Islamic courts agents of atrocity, you can imagine the amount of furore that would be generated. Asking the Us to infer that there's something wrong with Islamic value is plain silly. of course the US isn't going to interfere. all they can do is appeal for clemency. anything else is of no matter. it's like asking the African Union (or UN) to try and intervene when the Saudis behead caught drug traffickers. The Bible says you need to remove the beam from your eye before you tackle the speck in someone else eyes. Extra-judicial killings are rampant in Nigeria. people are burnt to death by mobs, police shoot and kill innocent motorists. Have you ever called for the US to intervene? |
Mamajama:And when the US intervenes you people will start mouthing off that the US is interfering in another country's legal process. Besides, not even the US has the power to overturn this sentence. last year an Afghan man converted to Christianity from Islam and told the press about it. Afghan scholars and legislators went mad with rage, it's islamic law that anyone that converts from islam must die. The US managed to smuggle him out and gave him refuge in USa, but this cost them a whole lot of face in Afghanistan and distrust from the rural areas. Not one of you guys picked up on that story. Next thing we know we'll start petitioning the US to release Uwazuruike for real. |
Afam:Is it just me or is this troll getting more childish as the days go by? okay, let's just humour you for once. You've called I-man a scammer several times. that in itself is a highly defamatory statement. Kindly provide proof that this guy is actually a scammer. Concrete evidence , please. |
RichyBlacK:Why must black people always turn white-on-black violence into a race issue? There's not enough evidence or facts for you to conclude that this man in question was even a racist. there are people out there that are just plain mean and nasty. Armed robbers go forth and kill for no reason, does that make them racist (or even tribalists?). When Hausa robbers nearly broke Tuface's neck, no one here played the tribe card, why pull out the race card so easily? You cannot KNOW that he's racist. All you can say is he used excessive force. You guys get real and sto saying what you can't back up. In the late 19th century and early 20th century texas cowboys would HANG anyone they caught rustling their cattle, and 99% of the time the victims were WHITE people. Bottom line? texan rednecks don't like people stealing from them, whether you're black, white, hispanic, asian or indian! |
Appearance:um. . .some of us use those phones not for appearance but for the features. I use a HTC TyTN and it leaves this crapware phone dead in the water. i don't need to watch TV on the go, and i have far more use for my time than squinting at a dodgy phone's screen in holdup. to each his own, sha. Most naijans can spot a fake phone a long way off. |
cooljoe:In PH abi? This weekend, i will make you my slave, just like King Jaja of opobo who was led into exile and Kunta Kinte the son of Omoro who was cast into slavery when he went into the bush to cut wood for a drum. When i have enslaved you, i will go and collect tribute from my serfs in lagos (sniperwolf, ritchboi et al) |
@All You've taken turns to yab the guy, abi? Good! Now can y'all get your asses out of the 'Games' section? it's a wonder that the same moderator that wrote "Welcome to the world of computer, Internet, video, and board games. Xbox, PS2, Chess, whatever!" is the one converting a misposted romance post a sticky. |
The quality of the debate on this forum can be so appalling, verging on the barely literate.

Aznar didn't even run for elections. The information is one google search away People seem to think that posting knee-jerk reactions without even doing some thinking about the issues is the right thing to do. @Afam Bush made silly comments, you guys go apeshit all over them. Ahmedinejad and Chavez make silly comments and you feel obliged to defend them? |
@Kobo Would help if you highlighted a particular page or so of the PDF. Otherwise seems daunting to slog through all that depressing fine print. ![]() |
@Kobojunkie Your data is fatally flawed, and now i see why you're reasoning this way http://www.nigerianoil-gas.com/upstream/joint_venture_companies.htm http://www.3tsoftware.com/3TNigeria/ListOfClients.asp SPDC in Nigeria operates under a joint venture agreement with NNPC, ELf and Agip. SPDC operates the Joint Venture and has a 30% stake. NNPC owns the controlling stake of 55%, Elf 10% and AGIP 5%. Typically, when a barrel of oil comes out of the ground, the Nigerian government takes off 80% as Royalties. Some part of the cost of production is paid back to the companies from the remaining 20%. This is then split in the 55%, 30%, 10% and 5% sharing formula respectively. Note that NNPC still gets their 55% after the 80% Royalty. Finally the share each company gets is the taxable income, and that is then taxed. I have since found out that the main reason for the unreasoning hatred of the oil majors is the unfounded beliefs that these guys are carting away all nigeria's money. In reality, for a benchmark price of $60 a barrel, Shell makes just about $2. Guess which country takes off more than $50 for the aforementioned barrel. Facts over beliefs. that should be your watchword. Your country takes by far the lion's share of the wealth and the ant's share of the blame for environmental damage. |
@Kobojunkie I'll buy two (2) of those from you. please let me know details |
@tope_teadr Are you high? i posted that challenge. go find me a s40 phone that has been flashed to s60. Also i hope now you've learnt the difference between s40 and s60. |
