Most people praising the champions league clearly don't know what happens behind the scenes. The champions league doesn't save football, it milks from these clubs. imagine Man utd not playing in the UCL for so long and they are still competing with Barca and Real in the Money rank. UEFA was scared its monopoly of football in Europe would disrupted so they bribed currupt FIFA to threaten the clubs involved.
