Well my GSD was also like that untill I introduced the cauc as a puppy. He got jealous and stopped obeying feeding Instructions. He would rush food and proceed to eat that of other dogs. Then attack the other dogs and steal their food then go to the waste bin and pick all the baby diaper and pads .he would take them all one by one I to his cage and eat.

He did that because he felt you are starting to share the love with some other puppy. The fact that he didn't kill the caucasian puppy is a sign he would have come to his typical good demeanor. What he desired was more attention and show him his position isn't endangered species

Dogs have relatively short lives, hence they grow very fast. This is not impressive for a five month old gsd.

If it's actually 8 weeks and ur dog has a parvo I seriously doubt if the dog would survive it, asin the chances are very low. And there is little Ur vet could do to help you except they want to explore you. Once it starts pooping blood, that's a confirmation that it's over.. Stay strong in advance. I wish you best of luck

Wrong mate. One of the symptoms of survival is the dog shows more symptoms before getting well. Treating a dog with Parvo, he stooled blood but he's gallant atm

Oga you just mentioned you are not a breeder so ill excuse you. The fact that one parent or even in some cases both parents are long coats does not automatically confer long coat status on pups. The long coat gene is a recessive one. It must be concentrated in the breed line to ensure perpetuation. However there are signs you'll see at puppy stage to give you a hint. The pups you presented and your representation do not match. A caption that they come from long coat parent(s) would have sufficed.

Most dogs you see out there are mixture of various genes like how the outstanding GSD was created in a lab by Captain Max von Stephanitz and or how the Caucasian is created in Soviet Union from the genes of several Moloser dogs such as Tibetan Mastiffs or even how the Dutch Sheperd was created from genes of Gsd and Belgian Malinios .. Sometimes particular mix aren't often advisable anyways

Caucasians are giant breed while Rotties are big breed. Don't use the size of a Caucasian to assume your rottie would grow that big. This would help not to end up believing your rottie is not growing accordingly
