You are funny, there is nothing strange about this. You ought to have known without being told that the former user/owner of the SIM linked it to his bank account for bank alerts. Now, the former owner is no longer using the SIM, but the SIM is still linked to his account. So, the alerts you are getting are the former owner's bank alerts. This is not a problem. But if you don't like it, you can ask the bank to disconnect the SIM from the former owner's account since you are now the owner.

UPDATE: After careful perusal of the court papers, I have discovered that the court is yet to restrain Gov Obaseki from participating from the PDP Primaries. The prayers of the applicant on page 1 are different from the Orders of Court granted on page 2.

This is a motion ex parte that was granted pending the determination for the motion on notice to be heard tomorrow.Court cannot stop a person from contesting a primary. Supreme court has affirmed this.

The order of the court remains only to grant accelerated hearing and substituted serving of the court process on Obaseki and others.

The court did not stop Obaseki from participating in the primaries of his new party.

Their will be an hearing on the 24th,where the party(PDP) can ask the order be vacated as plaintiff can't dictate to his party's NWC. As no court can adjudicate on that.

I am very happy to find out that there are still scrupulous people like you. I have been startled by the spreading news that court restrained Obaseki, when it was just the prayers of the applicant to restrain Obaseki that was posted, and people began to mistake it for court orders. I am not particularly supporting Obaseki and neither am I opposed to him, but it bothers me that in Nigeria, media outlets could spread an applicant's prayers as a court order. It also shows that lots of people here don't read before commenting.

His being a far junior to Buhari was not 'normal'. Age was not a factor. In fact, he was classmates with Babangida who is older than Buhari. So, Abubakar was actually their contemporary. What made him to be so junior to them in service was that when his contemporaries joined the Army in 1962, he didn't join with them. He sought higher education at College of Arts and Sciences in Kaduna. In 1963, he later decided to join the military but he joined the Air Force and was sent to Germany for training. After about three years, the Air Force refused to commission him, so he converted from Air Force to Army and got commissioned in 1967. So he lost about 4 to 5 years. That's how he became far junior to them in the military even though he was their contemporary and age group.
