[b][size=16pt]Listen! You did the right thing. You addressed the Pastor with his Calling name/title/status/or whatever anyone wants to call it. Aside our own biological fathers - God is the only Father and there is no other. It is only lay Christians who are obvously worldly, that hungers for titles and status in the Church because, they do no understand the Scripture. They are only Chapter Bible reading Christains - that picks up a chapter and read each time they feel like reading the Bible - but how could anyone understand all that God is saying to us, in that order - I querry? You only have to read the WHOLE BIBLE 2 or 3 times to even begin to scratch in, some understandings of what the Holy Spirit is informing us about God because, the Holy Bible - Word of God, is "Too Deep" to understand fully at first or second reading. You see, true Christians with spiritual insight into the deep things of God understands that, these things are nothing but vain and worldly - it is pride and God abhors pride/boastings. Remember, satan was chief boaster/proud man and we saw what happened to him in heaven = his downfall. Therefore, Christians are instructed not to let the work of the flesh (i.e. the things of this world e.g. adultery, fonication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatiry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness and, revellings, in their lives - to live a Godly life. And also, not to desire vain glory etc (which is what the Pastor's wife who should know better than you and I, is advocating for her poor husband). 'Status matters to her' than her Salvation. Yes, God wants us to live and walk in his Spirit i.e. embracing the fruit of the Spirit of God which is, Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meakness and, Temperance) Galatians Chpt. 5 v.16 - end. As children of God, we should all work and act in HUMILITY however, I did not see humility in this woman rather, PRIDE and, I wonder the beliefs and values of this family  [/size][/b] |

[b][size=16pt] There is no such thing as 'Nigerian Education' here, ok! First and foremost, the current Education system in Nigeria is, British Education - they laid the foundation and structures. British Education is revered all over the world. Unfortunately over the years, this quality education has been destroyed by our corrupt system. It was never like this, when my father's generation went to school in this country - theirs were quality education gained first hand and directly from Missionaries/Priests that came to develop Nigeria at the time. And you can see it from the way that generation spoke and use English language - it feels as though, they were educated in Britain. Imagine, our own generation, we can not even put sentences together let alone spell correctly. It is this shortfall in the education system, that people are running away from thus, seeking educational relief abroad and who would blame them, as the British Education, generations of Nigerians grew up with, is no longer there rather, blame the corrupt Nigerian system as a whole that brought it to its knees - that is what people are running away from therefore, if people can afford to study abroad, I can not see why they shouldn't. So, what seems as Nigerian education, is British - after all, they laid down the structure. And, for all Nigerians to embrace quality Education again, here in this country, both our leaders and ourselves must strive to change our attitudes and love our country a little bit more instead of working against its growth, development and prosperity that way we will have confidence and pride in ourselves and appreciate what we have/produced - eh, I do not mean crude oil here o o! [b][size=16pt]It is well to support the Moslem Community of this State in their need to attend Hajj in Saudi Arabia. But I ask where in the list of priority needs of this State, is this gesture?? May I ask, what about other Religious groups of this State, have their own needs be met or haven't they got needs of their own?? You see, this kind of unfairness and injustice naturally can, provoke discord between citizens and that can lead to a lot of troubles - however, when a State government becomes a stirrer of such troubles, it worries me...! Imagine, the ignorant governor overtly displayed favoritism/discrimination among members of his own State, in the name of 'Charity' when it can invest the fund in a more 'inclusive Charitable Venture' that would benefit all and all rather than, a few Moslems - how could this act be right and does this governor have consciences at all?? I assume he is a religious man but intelligence suggests one should keep their Faith/beliefs aside from Politics instead, we get the opposite as people abuse their positions of authority in this Country, our God will avenge it![/size][/b] |

[b][size=16pt]It's not much about Private or Public Education - it's about the 'Child's ability to learn and the Family Values' that enforces that learning. After all, all schools follow similar curriculum set by the state education system as it is, in the West and I ask - what's the difference? I can not vouch for other education system especially, those in the 3rd World as people do what they like, there - there's no effective regulation to monitor and guide things. Well, let's not detract from the point again, children will learn when they are ready to learn and by nature, humans learn from experiences in their life's journey but how could a child make an effort to learn in school when parents are prepared to cover the cracks in their learning and education? With parents as this, providing children with false-hope - would they ever bother to learn? Of course, not! Imagine parents, instilling in their children the belief that, it is normal to gain access to anything in life through deceit and lies. I am s o r r y !!!! Is this the kind of example, parents should set for their children? This kind of behaviour not only exposes their family values, but also queries how the parents themselves gained their own education and the authenticity of their qualifications/current positions. And these parents, do they actually believe in hard work, one would ask? It does not seem so - if one should begin to trace their trail he/she would come out with a lot of worms in the tin. I would assume, a family whose foundation is built on fraud that, emanated not from this present generation but from their great-grandad - too bad! Finally, sending a child to Private or Public school as we know it in the West - in my view, is a waste of money and the only benefit I could see is, children being exposed to 'Influential connections or contacts' that could help them in life, and this can also be gained at the University level anyway, for example, where did Kate meet William? We take it that you love your children - don't you? If so my advice is, no matter the degree of strife/stagnation causing poverty in your life - please and please never exchange your parental responsibility for your child on a Nigerian Slave Master - they are not good at treating a child that's not theirs same way they would with their own children. We all know the story of a wicked step-mother - that's even better than how most Nigerians would treat their Househelp/Servants so, if you want your child to be treated that way - go ahead and pawn them to a Nigerian Slave Master. They find it difficulty treating other people's child same way as their own - so don't do it - let every man wipe his/her own bum. No, boy, boy, ok! I hate it!! The thought of a vulnerable and helpless child being subjected to series of abuses in their masters home, boils my blood. Just because they come from a lower class in society than yourself, is it the reason you should treat them they way you wouldn't like to be treated - imagine your own child be treated that way, would you approve? I was once a victim of this evil - my experience will be with me forever as a result, anywhere I hear of boy, boy, I will be there like a flash of light campaigning against it. For me, people should wipe their own bums and realize how tough, it is, period. That way we can all begin to respect each other (another human being) no matter our levels in society. Let people serve themselves, wash their own clothes, cook their own meals, do their own school runs etc. Let them serve themselves until they learn how to treat a fellow human being with a human face. [b][size=16pt]Whatever you do, endeavor to use your Devotional every day but most importantly, read your Bible everyday and please, do not let laziness or tiredness hinder you from praying and reading your Bible every day. Secondly, it does not matter where you start your Bible study - where ever the Holy Spirit in you prompt you to begin your study - just go there. Some would advice you to start from John, Mark Luke and Matthew - it's ok but listen to what your inner man tells you. Now, let me tell you and others who would be reading this little story later perhaps, it will raise your Faith in God. You see, I have been of the world all my teen and adult life and 5 years ago, I completely surrendered all to Jesus my Lord and Saviour - there is no going back to my urgly old ways - no, going back! I was convicted by the Holy Spirit 5 years ago when I became a Christian. I found myself watching a Christian channel. Before I knew it, I got so excited and deeper and deeper into what I was watching and obviously hearing from the preacher on the tv and then went to look for my Bible which I had never opened for many years. Before then, I disliked things about Jesus Christ as I queried why should this man be the only way for us to get to our God and to Heaven - I was angry because of this (not at him) but, because of the arrangement that we can not come to our own God except if we go through Jesus - that really upset me. I now realized, it was the evil spirit in me at the time stirring up such ideas in me - querying Gods Will and Wisdom. The Holy Spirit in me at the time, prompted me to go and read the whole Bible - I said to myself - that thick book when will I ever finish it (now I know it was the devil playing with my mind not to do as told)? I ignored it and picked up my Bible and like you, wondered whether to start from Genesis to Revelation or...? But the Spirit in me led me to Ezekiel and then to Isaiah, Jeremiah and then straight to Matthew and chronologically, I read the whole Bible from the New Testament down to the last word in the the last chapter of the Old Testament and repeated the process again - why? Because, the Word of God is too SWEET to let the Bible drop off your hands. Once the Holy Spirit convict you, your eyes and mind would be completely opened to see and receive all about God, which is good - that's what happened to me. And, how about your Faith, some would ask me? Like I said before, I had zoouch - zero % Faith when I began my journey but it took a long time, as I began to build up my Faith in God, and to enable me achieve that - I began to reflect on the goodness of God in my life since I was a child. I could see all, and what Jesus has done for me, and in my life in the past and so, I glorified God for sustaining me up until the time I found him - Halelujah!!!! Because, finding God at that time saved my life - God is Great! If I could remember, at least I survived 7 motor accidents - 5 targeted at me alone, 1 targeted at me with my mother and daughter in the car and 1 with myself and daughter, all at different occasions and at one point, I was also rescued from the hands of evil men in Port Harcourt. Through a friend I trusted, an occult group drugged me in order to kill and use my blood for sacrifices to their gods but, Jesus saved me. Please note, I am not here to give you full the details of what happened in these matters but to assist you in your Spiritual and life learning the best I can. A girlfriend took me to a place in Port Harcourt where I was given something to drink and immediately I drank it, I lost consciousness and slept for 3 days without waking up, without feeling hunger/food nor wanting to use the lavatory. On the 3rd day, I woke up at 19.00hrs and was saying "Good morning to everybody around me" and asking what day, it was. One of the guys in that place told me that I was a very lucky girl, that where I was taken - not many people go there and come back and that the reason I came back was that, their spirit world i.e their kingdom REJECTED ME - for sacrifices. I was shocked and very, very afraid and wanted to leave immediately but it was not a place you leave on you own will - they had to authorize you to leave before you could go. Now, you can see how Jesus saved me! The Spirit of God confused their evil/wicked plan - he made them reject me in order to save me. Glory be to God! Imagine someone, that went to a place on a Monday morning and happened to woke up on Wednesday evening, to be told how lucky I was - what a wicked world? I am here today, encouraging you in your Faith in God because, Jesus loves me irrespective of my sins and that was the reason he saved me that day - so be steadfast in God whatever your challenges - he is a great God and would never let you down, if you Believe, TRUST and have FAITH in him. So, these are just a tip of things/risks I took and experienced in my life where my Jesus showed up for me, at the last minute - I love you Jesus, I love you father!! The question of Faith is very important in our relationship with God, why? I discovered this at the time I began to seek God. At that time, I had ZERO Faith and hardly prayed. If I ever prayed, my prayers only lasted 5 minutes - that was how deep I was in satan's kingdom of darkness and thank God, I am redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb! The Blood of Jesus Christ redeemed me and set free, I am justified and no longer condemned therefore, in Christ I am a conqueror! To show you how my Faith had grown over the years considering the above, I found myself now praying for almost 2 good hours. When all these began, I could remember my pastor counseling me on my Faith/prayer thus, helping me to build them up and said to me, "Don't worry, time will come when you will be praying for 2 hours". I said to him, why would I have to pray to God that long? Is God deaf? Now, I know that my God is not deaf - he is everlasting/alive! But, look at me today, doing exactly that - it is the power of the Holy Spirit living in us and helping us with our Faith in God. Because, the Bible tells us, without FAITH we can not please, God. Therefore, we must trust and have Faith in him thick and thin and completely. But remember this, when you say you have Faith in God, you will not only be tested but will be put though a furnace and be refined, in order for God to take you in his palms - God will test that your so called faith, I promise you however, to gain God's grace in your life, be very, very patient with him because, it could take you a short or long time before you could see the hand of God in your life - mine took 4 1/2 years of waiting patiently on God. As you can see, God does not act on our demand but only his...! You see, immediately I gave my life to God, the devil woke up for me - things I'd never experienced when I was deep up to my neck in sins, began to happen to me. Challenges upon challenges were coming from North and South, East and West and hitting me everywhere - I even queried where this God I have given my life to and have been praying to, worshiping and praising all this time has been and thus, left me to be consumed by satan? All the Ministries I'm involved with were also praying for me and telling me that, God is using this to make me stronger - and nothing happened. Eventually, I began to realize that God was testing me by allowing all these challenges to hit me, in order to make me stronger and I think, they were right. God tested my Faith, through the challenges I went through - he put me through a furnace of fire to check my FAITH in him yet, I refused to give up on my God. I hung unto him like a glue - my prayers are a hedge of protection, I can not live a day without praying - a day in my life without praying is like walking the High Street, "Butt naked" and who in their right mind would ever do that. As a result of these challenges, my prayers involved reading my Scriptures and praying day and night everyday for almost 5 years now and as I had already made my promises to God that, there is no going back to my old ways whether he saves, delivers, restores me or not, there is no going back - for God Almighty, is my God and I worship him! So, this year 2013, being my 5th year of becoming a Christian, Jesus showed up for me when I least expected it - in a court room where my career was being decided and gave me me VICTORY OVER MY FOES! My career/livelihood was challenged to the point of destruction by my enemies thus, I nearly lost everything I worked for in the past 25 years - because of envy and jealousy from weak people. Jesus Restored everything for me - praise be to God Almighty, Amen! Today, my foes have no eyes to look me in the face right, now - praise God! Imagine the power of prayer/fasting and using the powerful Word of God (that is living and active), tinged with strong Faith in God - is an explosion that blast open the gates of hell for your Victory and Joy! So today, I am happier than ever because I put my trust/faith in God whilst standing on his promises - "The Word" I hope my testimony and experience would raise the Faith of anyone who is at the moment, facing challenges and feeling hopeless about it all - do not despair and take a leaf from me, in this little story and, remember - our God is a God that answers by Fire and Thunder and at the last minute when you least expected him to...because, in everything we do - Jesus has the final say! That's where he is right now because of all he did to his body, and there is no way he is in Heaven and certainly, not with the drug overdosed body - for only purity will enter Heaven. Why?? Because, my Scripture tells me that "Our Body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost" Therefore, we must be careful over what we do to it. Well, by so many vain/silly operations he subjected his body to e.g. nip off one here, stitch up one there, tuck in and tuck out here and there - all these meant that he can not enter Heaven because, he destroyed the Temple of the Holy Spirit and no one you destroyed their home would ever forgive you because, they'd been hurt. So, the Scripture tells us "Do not grieve the Holy Spirit". Anyone who grieve the Holy Spirit - will not be forgiven and Michael Jackson and the likes that cut open their bodies any how obviously, did. However, his own is over but his kind, who are still alive have a second chance to plead to the Almighty God for Forgiveness and Repentance but, would they? Only time would tell - those who have ears, let them hear!! [/size][/b] |

Because, laziness won't let him/her lift a finger to create or do something beautiful. Lazy people are too lazy to wipe their own bums let alone clean and tidy their own environment. Nigerians have always like/appreciate new thing/ventures e.g new Roads, new Cars, new Aeroplanes, new Homes, new Building complexes/Estates etc but Nigerians are the last to maintain these infrastructure. May I ask, could anyone still remember how our Murtala Mohammed Airport Ikeja used to look in the 1990's and early 2000 Filth everywhere! [b][size=16pt]Well that's what our culture brings - a culture where women are meant to believe that they had to be someones property to feel fulfilled in their role as women, is cursed. Just as men, women are gifted and that gift can not only be expressed in marriage alone - it can be expressed without being married as well. The mentality in our culture is that "Thou must marry at all cost in order to be respected and be fulfilled" and that's a lie. Marriage is not compulsory! Again, it is choice! You choose to marry or not to marry - no palaver! But in our country Nigeria, it is a big PALAVER if a woman did not marry, there is a big hooohaaa and ask, why should it be! When men are not married no one pressurizes them, abuses them, dis-inherits them or even kill them. Just look around you would see many Nigerian men who are not married - just check, you would see plenty of them walking the streets and deceiving vulnerable women. But when it comes to a woman, just wait for the pressure, abuses and name-callings from family, friends and society at large - again, marriage is not compulsory. This cruelty inflicted on this guy by his girl-friend is all the hall-mark of family and societal pressures put on the singles and unmarried in this country as well as Nigerian men themselves, taken advantage of this cultural evil to dis-honour a vulnerable Nigeria women, seeking to be married at all cost because of societal pressure. The after-math of it all is nothing but - cruelty and wickedness, as this one!!! Yes, I can appreciate what went through this lady's mind when she took up this wicked action. Promise and fail, promise and fail is a broken contract - whether written and signed on paper or verbal or implied - 'agreement is agreement' - 'a contract is a contract' and should be honored. She went into this relationship with the hope they will get married eventually and so, she invested 'everything she had into this love relationship' and what was her reward? Disappointment and abandonment plus years wasted waiting for it to happen, it never did - hey a woman's time is too short to be wasted by a player! Well, he got what he deserved - no sympathy!
