The fancy Rolls Royce and Gucci bags doesn't come without some smothering. To each his own abeg. When b!tches be flying first class and slaying, not a single $ goes to charity but when it goes south, "Men are beasts" then look for public empathy and outrage. ![]() |
So a permanent secretary of a federal ministry could stand alone as a surety/guarantor for a loan of over N600m in 2005? |
but those countries are rich Tats: |
One and the same. One ends with 'Amen' the other without. The both make people feel good about themselves though. |
As a young person, I would love to see much younger people across the board of the political terrain. But, it seems the narrative is rapidly being expressed as Being Young = Competence. Let's admit, the young people in Nigeria today are some of the most unlettered crop I've come across in my experience as a traveller even within African countries. Many University graduates today in Nigeria don't even know how to spell, don't know basic things a state sec school leaver say in Ghana or Zimbabwe ought to know, little wonder intellectual thought and discussions are almost never observed among them. The girls are so much worse, and my heart bleeds Extreme religiosity is synonymous with poverty and ignorance. The predominant religions in Nigeria were largely intellectual during its propagation ie. involved lots of studying and reading and thinking, but today it has morphed into a repugnant show of terrorists, daydreamers, scammers, magicians and money launderers; and the young are just too disillusioned to even read and investigate their religions to see how it holds them back from being great and useful to themselves and society. I am advocate for good standard education for everyone in a society because it is what Nigeria needs. A state-of-emergency on all levels of education in the country for the next 15-30 years because if you think Buhari used a fake certificate but at least can speak some form of good English, or Kemi at least she was intelligent enough to graduate from a solid institution. watch this space in the next decade, where virtually everyone sorted their courses for grades and degrees would start showing up. It would become a choice between an illiterate with graduate degrees and illiterates with degrees. The ones able to understand my post are geared up to leave for Canada or US or wherever, the one that remain are those from schools you guys abandoned as local and public schools with no teachers, chairs, and materials. Those people are the future politicians and leaders of future Nigeria. Buhari is old (nothing wrong in being old btw we hope to get there someday) and ultra-conservative and has no business running a country like Nigeria. He has proven many times that he is incapable of deep thought and useful policies. GEJ, the educated one was not any better, in fact, given the resources, he was a colossal embarrassment and I'm his kinsman, if that counts for anything. So people, Vote and make sure your vote counts according to your conscience. Do what you can for Nigeria and leave it better than you found it. Don't plunder the country because it is already bad and the future is bleak. Save Public Schools! Save the future. |

How is what EFCC does different from ICPC, is there a overlap of functions, and do you work together? |
Burnt beyond recognition. At least their death would have been quick. Don't fear death of you live in Nigeria because it may visit you sooner than you expect. To think people steal so much money and have a culture of money glorification, you would think the society is safe for living to even spend money. Live everyday like your last. Leave a legacy because folks, money isn't everything to a fulfilling life. It really isn't. May our death be quick and without suffering. |
I don't know why so many guys think sex for women is a chore or some huge favour OP get this in your head and memorise it everyday. GIRLS GET HÖRNY TOO, MOST TIMES MORE THAN GUYS. For a lady to be willng to give up a relationship because you desire sex with her speaks volume of her psyche and attraction - pretty much inexistent - towards you . Personally, I'm repulsed by girls like that. Virginity is not a virtue!! maybe it was when virgins were offered up to the gods for sacrifice. I mean, who even wants someone that would feel guilty and ashamed of her body during sex for a lifetime of marriage? You need to get your priorities right to know what you want in a marriage and SEX is very important. Like someone said, you will be easily frustrated in a marriage with someone that sees sex as a duty and not what they desire I cannot even imagine.Pick a book on seduction and attraction written by women to understand a little about women and their sexual desires. |
Take your own advice and read your first comment. You didn't read bla bla bla... modern day slavery ... yada yada speaking like jobs are beneath you and you are god's gift to humanity to discover future technology. Name your business or are you ashamed? ![]() Pentools: |
It's not by talking entrepreneur this and that be brave enough to tell us your start-up or companies that are so great Mr Elon Musk. The thing about people like you is that the real successful entrepreneurs don't preach and yap all day about entrepreneurship. It's only those who weren't even consistent enough to get a common good bachelor's degree that come online and talk sh!t. Here again, I challenge you to name that 'great' entreprenurship thing that you are doing in Nigeria so we can monitor it and you and laugh when you fall within the known statistic that 9 out 10 start-ups fail within the first 10 years. Nigeria should be better to go against those odds in your opinion. ![]() Pentools: |
Dear Hiring Manager, If every candidate you ended up not hiring had done as you keep suggesting, you would still hire one or just a few of the multitude of equally qualified applicants and still find reason to disqualify those you didn't select. Thank your stars you are employed to even come up with such insulting rubbish during an era of unemployment crisis in the country. Many of those employed in the 90s and early 2000s stand little to no chance of gainful employment in today's labour market. So shut up and stick to your job and select according to your criteria the few of many qualified candidates at your discretion and spare the resilient and persistently dogged job applicants the condescension and insults. Kind regards, Frustrated youth ![]() |

Guy, you are just her emotional tampon. her girlfriend that is a guy. She hooked up with a real man. Sorry, take it on the chin and work on yourself. You seem young, don't get involved in an emotionally draining relationship. Getting heavily invested in relationships not advisable for any unaccomplished (I assume) young man. Relationships are greatly skewed to be beneficial to the woman, that's why they try to hold down an attractive man to get him in an exclusive relationship so that they can put in their overinflated mundane issues among things the guy should worry about. As a young man, it's better to get laid whenever you want without being in a relationship, leaving the emotions for the broads, while you focus on your life ambition because the more accomplished you are the more attractive you become and the bigger your pool of selection for finer and more well behaved women. From what I read, You are a simp* - don't worry, many men once were, and a lot still remain - She dropped the call on you and you began to worry and think You really need to get busy. Let me give you an example to put things in proper perspective so you get the message. Would you worry and overthink or feel highly disrespected over the dropped call if you had many f*ck buddies that include celebs? This right here is the line between being excessively needy and childish as opposed to being mature and attractive to any woman. Operate with that abundance mentality, and focus on your life and ambitions. Buena Suerte! |
Partial scholarship... international fees are over £20k per session. Medicine programmes would be almost double that. Good UCLk to applicants |

I would not ordinarily have believed on Jesus Christ because of what I had seen and done and nobody would have been able to preach to me and win me for Jesus but He sorted me out by himself and the rest is .............Just say what your life was like before and how it is different now. Drenthe is dutch and probably speaks English so it was likely due to cultural difference. If you understood Spanish you'd know it's widely accepted esp in Latin America to call a black person negro or a mixed person mulatto. Negro in Spanish doesn't carry all that negative baggage like in the English speaking world. OldBeer: |
Negro in Spanish means black and it's not considered racist in Latin America the same way Mulatto isn't considered offensive. OldBeer: |
I won't say most, because not until an individual does something racist, is s/he considered as one. The illustration was for understanding of general perception, given a situation. Educated people do not use sweeping generalizations or at least don't express it openly. Nigeria is known for internet fraud as there are so many 'Nigerian prince' jokes, as a result when people deal with Nigerians online, they become cautious or even decline such transaction, even major online businesses like PayPal was initially restricted from Nigeria which by and large rubs off on honest nigerians. As for female blacks as prostitutes, perhaps in Italy it just depends on what the majority of our people are into in a foreign society. In South Africa and Philippines, there are a lot of Nigerian drug dealers thus stereotypes rub off innocent Nigerians too. But there are many good people everywhere in the world, only the ignorant unexposed people are racists. quinSonia: |
People are entitled to the opinions and they would always have many. What's more important is how blacks view themselves. Respect is earned and not begged for but as it is, black african nations are some of the worst places to be born on earth and Nigeria, like Bill Gates said, is one of those. What kind of respect would people have for a country that cannot even treat its president? etc. Respect for nations is quite different from that of individuals although they converge sometimes. Outside Africa save the US, Canada, UK and a few, there always seems to be a chip on one's shoulder as a black person. Imagine being a female Nigerian student on scholarship in Italy, for example, where 7 out of 10 road side prostitutes are Nigerians. The general perception of a Nigerian girl is that she is likely a prostitute. quinSonia: |
I choose not to look at it that way because there are good people everywhere regardless of race and you just might eliminate avenues to beautiful friendships and opportunities with an 'us vs them' mindset. But in my experience, which is far from isolated, it is much harder for a black (shades matter - the darker the more likely to be unfortunate) person to rise along the economic ladder outside his/her home country. Latin America have it worse because colour of skin is almost always linked with one's identity. Their history is replete with government policies to 'whiten' the population by interbreeding or downright elimination. In the seemingly liberal and welcoming nations such UK, Europe, US and Australia that Nigerians are eager to run to, they also have many people with entrenched prejudices and with the current immigration crisis, we can see the rise of right wing parties and anti-immigration candidates all over the West like Trump, the Italian President etc; after Trudeau, surely going to be a right wing candidate. and trust people don't have problems with Caucasians migrating en masse, it's usually against coloured and economically disadvantaged people. quinSonia: |
