Softhands:So because wife committed adultery...which she had no business committing by the way...pastor should retaliate by committing adultery? Sin is not good. Let's not excuse sin in the Church. We are already in trouble with God as it is. |
Takeaways from the video 1.The Bible is very clear....adultery is WRONG. 2.Yet we have the respected pastor of a church, sleeping with another woman apart from his wife, and at the same time the other woman is busy competing with his wife. The mother of his children 3.Pastor says the wife cheated on him. Well.....there are biblical ways to deal with the cheating. 4.And I wonder...why hasn't the Pastor Iginla stepped down from his headship of the church? He has sinned. 5.Either way, the Church of God in Nigeria has a sin problem. If after years of being 'born again'...a pastor and his wife and the mistress cannot learn that adultery is a sin...hello....are you guys chirstians or irreligous. 6.And let's be frank....the reason why Boko Haram, and economic crisis is tormenting the church is because the head has problems. This is the how manyeth time this is happening. Remember Ese, and the pastor whose actions chased her away from the faith? Nigerian Christianity is in serious trobule. And we are going to keep on suffering and suffering...until we look at how sin has entered our house and is wrecking us to bits. 7.Also, we treat our pastors like superstars. PASTOR IS NOT A SUPERSTAR. PASTOR IS NOT A SPECIAL BREED OF CHRISTIAN...AND THAT INCLUDES ALL the daddy GO'S, THE setmen, etc.....they need our prayers, and they need to be held accountable. We have not been holding our pastors in prayer,...and we don't hold them accountable. We think that they have some special connection to God because of the miracles etc that they do. Well....SATAN has pastors high on his target list....so they need to be held accountable. 8.And we Christians...many of us CHRISTIANS...forget that Christianity is a 24 hour thing. Doing your job as a cleaner well...or as a office worker well, or as a teacher, doctor, etc...well...is the same as winning souls to christ. Yet...many of us are Sunday Sunday christians...and something else the rest of the time. Christianity is 24/7....we better wake up. P.S...Pastor and his wife should go and get their marriage healed...and they should repent. |
It might sound strange....but local politics is different from national politcs Classic example...Gombe state...in 2015... Presidential: APC Governor: PDP. |
And when these ones see oga governor is not performing..they will cry and wail. But you could have done something about it....like voted. |
hisexcellency34:The sarcasm is strong with this one. But, let's be honest...both PDP and APC know how we can get to stable electricity....and it starts with deregulating the power sector...by allowing DISCOS to charge and set the prices for power without waiting for them to provide stable power. Because right now, what DISCOS make isn't enough to pay GENCOS...which is why they reject power on a regular basis...and GENCOS too have trobule paying for gas because gas companies, including the Nigeria Gas Corp want payments in dollars. It also starts with government paying the N1 trillion debt it owes, as well as Nigerians paying up the N1 trillion debt they owe discos, as well as Nigerians actually paying for power...because as it is, only 1/3 rd of power subscribers pay for power. But neither of the parties want to do this...because it means bills as high as N30000 for the room and parlor man with meter. High bills don't win votes. But because we paid unreasonable amounts of money in bills to GSM companies back in the day when GSM was a mess...when you could not use your Nitel land line to call MTN and vice versa...and when internet was non-existent....those GSM companies were able to invest that cash in better equipment, etc...and things GOT better. Why are we then shortchanging our power sector? We can blame government for not doing anything for power...but the problem is bigger than you or me or APC or PDP. |
Ayobami1738:It goes into the government vaults, then after investigations, and the appropriate court trials have been concluded, if there is a guilty verdict...it is forfeited to the government....who uses it for things like...funding the budget (something like tax money) If there is a innocent verdict...the money presumably goes back to the owner. |
Investbrooker:Grow up, little girlie. |
TheTourist:As long as the people are corrupt...any uprising will just mean one set of moneybag leaders displacing another set of moneybag leaders. |
We can only have free and credible elections when Nigerians want free and credible elections. Till then, we may as well be talking into the air. |
CreepyBlackpool:Your advice reminds me of the time, some 3 years ago, that I had to calm down a guy in my office who was bitter and angry about his girl lying to him about her genotype. (AS by the way) Lying really is not good |
Time a wall was built separating IMO state from the rest of the country. Them are very violent Sarcasm intended |
One problem I have with these kind of stories is that they always seem to blame the doctor or nurse for being too slow. We don't get information about what kind of illness the actor had, or things like how long between when he slumped and when he got to hospital, and so on. All we hear is 'doctor bad', and at the end of the day, the whole profession is judged. Until there is some sort of inquest, I am going to say that whatever killed the man, it was not negligence. The fact that they were rushing him to a CT or MRI scan machine tells me that most likely (this is a wild guess, I don't have access to his files, nor do I know his condition)... he had a bleed in the brain. But that is just speculation anyway. If I am right, then there was a high chance that there was nothing no one could have done. But that's just speculation, so until we see the results of a proper investigation, we should not rush to justice. I know some doctors are bad. I also know the limitations we deal with everyday. |
I hope the girl is found. I also hope that churches and parents take note and improve security around their buildings when service is in progress. |
Christos0Famous:And as a fellow Christian, that's not how to win a soul to Christ |
Joromi12:If God put out every house fire that was set miraculously saving lives, man will not learn how to build fire proof houses |
Ijebulogic:Hefner always had relationships with girls who were of age, plus all the ladies in the playboy mansion consented. That doesn't mean he did not have court cases... In fact he was facing several cases when he died. To say nothing of being villified by American Christians and feminists Cosby drugged womens drinks and then had intercourse with them. Chris Brown badly beat up his then girlfriend. She may have provoked him, but assault is assault. OJ was acquited by the way, his jailing was due to other matters. Michael Jackson slept with children in his bed. Would you let a grown man sleep with your own kid? White celebs who have gotten into trouble include Gary glitter, Harvey Weinstein, and many others. |
Good to know |
stuffs4me:Well, I know that 90% of my patients if not more get my best care.. But whatever I say about myself, you probably won't believe me. Anyway, if you happen to.come.under my care as a patient, I promise that I will do my best to get you back on your feet. Because it is my job to care beyond even when it isn't possible Goodnight |
For a long time, since 2011, I have stopped believing all this rigging jokes. The truth is, it is the hardworking party that wins. Nigerians also prefer PDP and APC. PDP lost because they lost large sections of the middle belt and also because southerners don't turn up and vote or collect PCV. |
nasbidemi:That is the main story here! |
And when her child grows up and becomes a never do well, she will blame demons up and down |
fergie001:Any party that is not giving you free gifts. Because tomorrow morning when they win, they will spend their time in government recouping all they spent on you. And when you complain, they will tell you they have spent government money on you for that kerosene |
Abia people, don't vote for the party that gives you gifts. Vote for the guy that gives you ideas. |
clearie2:For the last three weeks, under different names, the same story. If you were starving for 3 weeks, you won't be alive to write this. Stop lying. This format don cast |
hollywater:Unfortunately I am not from any of the three major tribes |
Afonja007:And may your God's grant you all the good you wish for. Good afternoon |
I did not know they sell Sapele water for South Africa. |
Say no to tribalism There are BAD and GOOD people in every tribe. Say no to tribalism Coming here and shouting afonja and ipob and abokee does not improve your life at all |
LuciferSaviour:Grow up |
GloShare:On the other hand, I have seen patients blame doctors and nurses even in cases where the best was done. Thing is, grief too can make us do strange things. |
Poor reporting 1.We don't know the case in question, whether the patient was brought to the hospital on time, whether the patient was in a bad state, or whether the medical personnel had access to all the information. 2.When a patient dies, sometimes the relatives in their grief blame everyone, including the medical personnel who has done his best for them. 3.Until we get more information, this is a case of assault. 4.And yes, some Nigerian doctors are bad, and most of us have poor communication skills. |
