hey guys,
Although, we know that "life goes on " as they say, but some life challenges doesn't seems go with these rules,or let's say it does, but after some hurdles,
So, let's share our experiences as a 3rd class graduate.
.............
Mine is a little bit funny cos after one or two interviews with stories that touches, I think life is about to end,
Although, still in search for job WITH ZERO HOPE but I STILL thank God for his plans for my life.
Stop searching for a job, last last how much them wan even pay? Most jobs in Nigeria these days pay around 100k.
Open a business or learn a skill like phone repair, with phone repair you could be making up to 500k/month, I have friends of mind who make up to that per month, some even make above that in computer village.

If you're not in Lagos, there is always a place that look like computer village in every state.

At the end of the day, you'll be richer than those with first class, the only place white collar job pays well a bit is outside Nigeria.

I am voting 'Yele Sowore of AAC.

You have one vote ..as I have mine..

I have decided to give a protest vote to Sowore as I don't see any difference among the old bad wagons among leading candidates.... especially those that have been in power , one way or the other since 1999.

That being said, it doesn't stop me from making political projections based on what is happening..

Elections are not won on sentiments...it's by votes..you don't need to give yourself false hope if you know your candidate won't win... unfortunately, most of Peter Obi supporters, which I presume you are one of them are so blind to see these things grin grin..do your part vote your candidate...if he doesn't win, it's not the end of the world and your life won't end because of it.

If you take electioneering process this way, you will give yourself less headache.
It's nice to see a Sowore supporter, I too support Sowore, he has always been my first choice, I prefer him more than Peter Obi, but I know that it's not possible for Sowore to win this election that is why I moved to the 2nd best candidate which is Peter Obi, at least he has a better chance than Sowore.

Even though I know that Sowore is the best candidate, I know he cannot win this election so what's the point of wasting my vote? I rather vote the next best person.
I suggest you do the same instead of wasting your vote, even Kwankwoso has a better chance than Sowore.

Election is everything bro, you said my life won't end because of it, do you know how many people died during this 8 years of Buhari's reign ? Do you know how many people died due to insecurity and kidnapping and poverty which skyrocketed due to Buhari's incompetence ?

Last year over 50 people were slaughtered in Ondo state, if we had good leaders there will be security and it'll be hard for such thing to have happened, that flood that happened last year killed over 800 people and displaced thousands. Our lives depend on it bro.

Thanks to the division in PDP..

They, PDP, are making this easy for APC
People like you who constantly support evil and corrupt and bad leaders all because of your selfish interest or because of religion/tribe are the reason why Africa is backward.

Seems you're purpose on earth is to vote in leaders that will cause poverty and suffering. You are just bent on keeping Nigeria on its knees no matter what, I'm sure you voted for Buhari too, but God won't allow you and your kind to succeed, your plan to suffer Nigerians for the next 8years won't work this time.

See how time fly

No matter what shallow thinkers may say, Buhari has done his part based on his conviction, experience and exposure.

In infrastructure there's no president from 1999 that can match his performance.

Buhari distinguished himself as the best president in fiscal policy regarding other federating units.

He ensures and pursue fiscal autonomy and direct allocation to Local government.

He ensures payment of money owed states without making it public.

He paid pension backdated to Biafra military era in the late 60s.

He bailed out states without making noise.

He revolutionized agriculture sector and took some promising hard decision in that sector.

He is fair in election with no interference unlike past government.

Yes, his preference for north is visible in many areas, just as he trusted people from his region more in a federating state. He also allowed clique to influence and dictate governance.

Overall, he did what he believes in and cannot ranked below second in governance indices from 1999.

Thank you sir, General Muhammad Buhari
You just open your mouth and rubbish starts pouring out.

How did Buhari meet Nigeria?
How is he leaving it?
I'll tell you, dollar was 200 when he came in, now it is 600, it simply means Buhari made Nigeria 3× worst than it was and you are here typing rubbish.

Talking about shallow thinkers, you don't even think at all.

Men has both brain and crude power, women too have brain but they do not use it, that's why you still find men dominating every sector, including fields that just require only brain power you'll still see only men there.

Field like programming for instance, men are the majority there because women do not want to use their brain to work, they rather work with their body by constantly begging men for money.

Women can't survive in this world without men, they will just go extinct.

Like I said, I completely disagree. As off 1999, universities in the US were already teaching OOP. Languages before then we're Pascal and C++. And students learned those. So no, you don't have to be "welcomed" with Python. I personal do not like the very lax programming that Python encourages. I believe people should start of learning programming with strongly typed languages and learn the discipline of declaring their variables associated with a variable type before using the variable in their programs
Of course it's possible to learn Java without any prior programming experience, but it's be more difficult for that person compared to someone who already knows python or JS

Lol. I disagree. Anyone can start with literally any language. I started with BASIC then switched to PASCAL. When OOP became a thing, learned C++ and Java. The exact language used is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned
It'll take you more time to understand any Oop language like Java as a complete beginner. At least you need to be welcomed with python or JavaScript.

Your own is good. I've been in denial that "programming is too demanding, if I go back I will be sucked in so much I will barely have time for anything." Looked at my Career To-Do for 2022 and the only thing I ran away from was Programming. Starting over and getting out of gear 1 has been a huge challenge because when I start with
system.out.println("Hello World!" )

I just think, this shiit is too easy. Then I rush to arrays and linked lists and hook go catch person. I say to myself, later. Add to that the huge change in the tools used. Wrote my programs with nano or notepad and compiled on command line. The closest thing like and IDE I used was BlueJ. Today the IDEs and the language has evolved so much it becomes a huge challenge. I open code in notepad and it's filled with so much code I'm wondering how in the name of all that is holy, did anyone write all of those from their head. But we try again next year. And hopefully the disgust at the disparity between what I earn as an Functional Consultant and what what devs in my field will be enough to force me to drag that "saturation" with them. Let us all swim or sink in the so-called saturation
Lol, seems like you started with Java, Java isn't an easy language for beginners, try to learn JavaScript or python.

Firstly you mentioned AI and it's subset machine learning taking over which shows a lack of understanding of the tech space. Will the AI systems be built and just left that way? No!! The people who design these systems are still software engineers and as it become an industry standard, if creates more future jobs

Secondly, almost every developing nation on earth has not adopted 50% tech usage. Nigeria would be around 30% which speaks of the abundant of opportunities. Evolving fields like cloud computing and these AI disruption is just an evolution to the work we do. There's this misconception from people and script kiddies who aren't really developers that think once a software is built, there's no need for maintenance cheesy.

Tech has a lot of opportunities for growth, and AI is only advancing the means to reach to these opportunities.

Forget the trend, get your head down, and grind. An average indian group won't have this flight mode status we're displaying in Nigeria.

Don't let the buzz make you regret in future ; wink
I'm not talking about tech in general, I'm taking about just frontend and backend software development. You could be a frontend or backend developer and have no experience in artificial intelligence, I know these artificial intelligence softwares need maintenance, but that maintenance can only be done by people fully in the field.

I fall in love with her because of some attributes I saw in her..she's not endowed as some will perceived that was the reason.

I met her in church..I started observing her and noticed shes Humble and posseses some qualities of wife material..

I got close to her and we started talking, we hanged out. And talked and share most of Our likes and dislike etc.

But what shocked me most was her past life, she was raped when she was about to enter convent but that wasnt my issue. after the incident she got admission in the University in her first year she got pregnant and that affected her academics seriously coz she carried the pregnancy and bore the child.

As she was narrating her ordeal to me she said she doesn't know what actually was wrong coz before she could know it again she met the same guy and got pregnant again.. she told me she really acted stupidly this time..she terminated it in the 8th weeks.

She said she was telling me this coz she discovered that i was in love with her..that if after I finally settled down with her without letting me know her past life she won't be happy coz I saw perfection in her instead of imperfections that she won't be happy in the marriage if we later settle down..

her last date was 3yrs ago but they didn't end up due to tribe and religion which the girl family doesn't support, she told the guy about her child but didn't tell him about the abortion.

From my observation this girl posses some good qualities of a wife material..but I don't really know if she was just a victim of circumstances that pushed her to got pregnant two times..she wrote her final exams 3years ago but due to that incident that happened in her first year she wasn't able to defend her project.

Pls I need your advice as I have not been able to think right is getting to couple of months I have been on this thought.
If I be you OP, I no go marry her, I go just forget about her. Women past matters a lot wether you like it or not.

Decide with your head and not with your heart otherwise you are likely to regret it, women plenty for town, you go see better one when get clean past with wife material quality. This is just what I'll do sha if I were you, if you like use your head, if you like use your heart, na you sabi.
