Kazna69:
I don't usually know to begin. I don't like to talk about what I feel like on the inside cos I consider it a "woman thing". I also don't like to talk too long/lengthy discussions cos it's exhausting & boring sometimes.

I got depressed while in school years back cos I had crappy grades (Com Sci) which lead me to believe it wasn't the right school program for me. I've been at home since 2012, no job cos I'm not the street hustler like some dudes, I don't have those savvy skill sets required by fancy organizations in prospective employees, no money, no real reliable friends & I don't know what else to think of other than putting an end to my misery by taking my life. I barely sleep at night, insomnia coupled with anxiety isn't helping my situation. I feel lethargic, get crazy headaches, low will power to want to get up & go do anything at all now mainly cos I feel my anxiety has somehow given me digestive & urinary issues. Stomach aches, rumblings & frequent trips to the rest room unending. Some people would say "go back to school" well to study what? I'm not a scientist or a business oriented person. After some deep introspection, I learned I have more of artistic qualities cos I liked doodling in school when my mind would wander off. These days I just sketch, write rhymes/lyrics (oh check the rap battle: 2 lines to Diss & flow for rank section) & try to learn graphic design- CorelDraw, PS, AI. I don't know what program to study in Uni (if there's cash), I don't know what business to undertake, if I were to start a blog, wtf would I write about? Gaming, arts, animes/manga, music? Those seem lame. I'm at my limit. I appreciate your thoughts.
Focus bro,focus.
What do you desire to become? You must have a dream and aspirations towards it.
What's your level of education now and if I may ask, what about your family?

Hello guys. Moments ago I was just staring at a fan hook. And thots of taking my life kept on creeping inn.events leading to this day follows suit. In 2012: an incident took place in my place if work and judgementally I was asked to bear the loss because of my indirect involement& as a supervisor that day. Sold my car and few property to pay up the loss to the tune of 2million naira. within a given time.during that time. My overtime allowance, leave bonuses, and profit sharing allowances all stopped.only half salary. I eventually paid up. But a year went by. The management went silent on the issue. Fast forward to 2014.pleaded with them if my issue is resolved and at least resume my fully salary. They ignored. But all this while I put in more effort on the job. Making sure they are satisfied, hoping to redeem myself but it all failed. They employed new staffs gave them cars and tripple their salaries. But they left me same half salary. Which have left me in neck deep debt.. No savings anymore, house rent due.can't even continue my marriage plans this year..mean while I have searched for jobs and prayed to leave the company, but so far nothing has worked out.either has my prayers been answered. Days ago. They did another 40% increment.... So disappointing that nothing for me again...only same half salary. Am tired frustrated! don't feel like working anymore. And just sad and feeling its just too much.at 32years of age. Nothing has been working anymore. I wakeup praying, and crying seeing work colleagues much younger than me,been treated well while I have been reduced to nothing.... After putting so much commitment and hard work for 8years....it just hurts so much. Even friends feel I should resign. But I havnt gotten a new job.and they are asking me(the company) via mail to put in more effort in 2016. Even after seeing certain upgrade they carried out without me.
It can be frustrating bro and I can feel your pains. However,it's not enough to want to end it all.
I want you to see this as a passing phase and a trial that will make you come out a stronger person.I don't know what relationship you have with God but this is the time to draw close to Him.I believe He has bigger plans for you.
I see you exiting that job for something better but I wouldn't want you to resign just yet.You must have an alternative first.
Keep enduring,it won't be long before the storm will be over. There's something brewing for your good before the end of this quarter 2016.

This is really deep. Thanks for putting it straight to me. How do I build the courage to tell them please? It's so difficult
Andromida has written extensively.
You have to tell your parents and start afresh. They may not pay your school fees but it means you will stop living a lie.
Send them a mail,if you can't talk on phone or meet face-to-face.

Your parents should have paid your school fees directly to the school instead of giving you the money after the first experience. They didn't learn too.

Amen.
am sure that is not the first time their parent will drop them off to go to work. and the boy should be above 10years. they go to church by themselves so am sure their parent believe they should be safe as always
Hmmm, not safe enough.Even teenagers still need guidance.
I'm very sure Benin is not even a safe place to leave kids on their own.

It's a good thing the police have been informed.

the first child iss not that young.he is an altar server in church and that is not the first or second time they are leaving them at home.
Hmmm. How come they work everytime and they have to leave kids all by themselves?
Even 10yr olds still need supervision.

Family › Re: Help! My Parents Are Frustrating Me by thorpido(m): 5:37pm On Jan 25, 2016
You shouldn't have told your parents you have that money!
Are your parents incapable of raising funds for your brother's education? If they are, then you should part with some of the money.

As long as you live with your parents(even if you don't stay with them),it's right to make financial contributions to the family if things are not going too well with your parents.

The most important thing is the attitude of people.

Someone,a Nigerian, must have been given the responsibility to ensure that the hospitals are equipped. How come they don't even have a 700 naira material used for surgery?

What do we say about the attitude of the nurse who kept on eating while a patient was battling with death?

My mum is a nurse and she tells me the attitude of nurses and doctors. I feel that they are used to seeing people die so its no big deal to them?
To be honest, there are bad eggs in the hospitals but I will still give an above average mark to most health workers.
That nurse eating when there was an emergency didn't do well but probably that was the only time she had a break to eat.Once you get to work, work starts and till 2pm,you'll realise you haven't eaten anything.
I know things should be better.

Lissen my guy, no one cares if you had to fly to jupiter.
All they want is a smiling face, listening ear and a helping hand.
Medical practitioners in Nigerian PUBLIC HOSPITALS are so rude and impatient.
I once had an experience in Lasuth where the doctor in charge of the medical emergency ward (A female) practically told me to go and die because they don't have the required drugs i need and even though the hematology or pediatric department might have the drug, she wouldn't make any effort to get it for me because the medical emergency department is having issues with the hematology department. If i am lying, may God strike me.
She left me to die because of her pride.
I am not the rude type and i was actually very polite in my approach.
Guy, that my experience alone has made me realize that Nigerian medical staffs in public hospitals are demons.

I really thank God my financial circumstance is A+ now. I will never ever have to visit a public hospital in Nigeria again.
There is no hope for poor people in Nigeria. Even the medical practitioners are poor but instead of helping other poor people live another day, they would rather help them die!
[/b]
One person's experience to judge every health worker?
Do you know what sacrifices many make for patients daily?
Well there are many with a smiling face,a listening ear and a helping hand.

By the way, flying to jupiter will be a worthwhile experience.

1)Please, what's d difference between nylon 1 and nylon 2?
It is merely size. I have used them severally to suture. Using nylon 1 instead of nylon 2 would not cause burst abdomen, rather using one for the other would be hard/easier for the doctor (personal experience) and also especially cos of the attached needle.
2) Causes of burst abdomen?
-Use of absorbable sutures instead of nonabsorbable. Nylon is nonadsorbable, as in this case.
-Method of closure. Interruped sutures better than continuous.
-Midline n vertical incision have a greater predisposition to burst abdomen then horizontal incisions. But each has its adv and disadv.
-If there are present, causes of increased abdominal preasure, eg, coughing, vomiting, ascites.
-Presence of wound infection.
-Initial cause of operation, eg gunshots which are 'dirty' wounds and have a high burst abdomen incidence (which I suspect in this scenario.
-General condition of patient, eg, obesity, Jaundice.

3)I trained in NAUTH. I have had cause to donate and source for emergency blood. I smell a lie in that statement because, BEFORE ANY BLOOD IS DEPOSITED IN THE BLOOD BANK THERE, IT WILL HAVE BEEN TESTED FOR HIV, SYPHILIS, HEPATITIS B n C.
I have donated blood severally for people as a free donor and I know the procedure.

You say Nigerian doctors are not trying, tell that to the patient who I sutured after he had a DEGLOVING injury on his foot after an accidentr and see what he will tell you. Half of his foot skin removed and I had to repair it. Would I also mention the free outreaches I have assisted?
Ok nah
Guy,people don't know the volume of work being done in the hospital and the sacrifices being made. They don't know how you as the doctor is the one donating blood or getting your friends to do that. They don't know how you have to dip your hands in your pocket to provide for these patients.

Doctors are trying my friend but the way some of you behave is really appalling. I thought the oath you guys took was to save life first. So why put so many obstacles on the way of a dying man or woman?
I can only defend myself.I can't take responsibility for the actions of other people.
However, saving life first has to do with so many things. Are you going to save life first with your own personal resources? There are times when some things are not available(blame the people who should provide that) and you just have to get the relatives to provide them.

Sometimes, the hospital staff is overworked too.The population is much in excess of available personnel.it can get frustrating.

Na God save this actor life.Him for don die.

Hospitals in Nigeria are in a poor state,I can't lie.As a medical personnel,I know a lot still has to be done.
It's a shame but the leadership has to be blamed.Put structures in place, provide necessary materials and deal with erring personnel.

I don't understand you.You were not keen on resolving the issues you guys had and was okay to ignore him for months and even cut off contacts, yet you're biting yourself he didn't marry you?
You say you don't fully understand the male gender, well you really don't!what was he to do?Stay there till thy kingdom come? What you really need to understand more is yourself.

Relationships take efforts and a lot of compromise. You didn't really want what you had so just let it go.

It's a good thing you've drawn closer to God.Trust Him to give you something better than you have had.

Wasn't malaria once a mystery disease? Africans no longer have any motivation for research and invention because of these foreign religions. Every unusual thing should be left to god and T.B Joshua. If god and the likes of T.B Joshua are the solution to our problems that would be better, But we are still backward despite having thousands of T.B Joshua.
Malaria was once a mystery disease and like many diseases, research has found solutions to them.
How do you explain a woman whose stomach starts to swell at 12am and the swelling disappears at the break of dawn and she has infertility issues even when other tests are normal? You think medicine has an explanation for that?
I know you don't believe in God but there are things medicine can't find answers to.I have been in medical science long enough to know.

@bolded,have you been following the news about Dasuki, the former NSA and how much money was embezzled and squandered?Tell me what TB Joshua or not has to do with that? Why can't Nigeria's electricity work after billions have been spent on it?
The backwardness of Africa has nothing to do with Church!

As a medical personnel myself,I know there are times you find patients who you really can't find what exactly is wrong with them even after running many tests but you need wisdom when dealing with such patients.

I told my boyfriend everything but he insist I abort it if not he is going to abandon me to my fate.

What do you want to do with front page?
You're blaming your boyfriend? Was it not consensual?Rather than listen to your parents and follow their leading and counsel, you decided to go your way and now you can't face your parents.

Tell your parents or get a relative tell them.Heaven won't fall, you won't be the first to have such an experience. You will just have to bear the consequences and make the best of your situation.

If you are a student, concentrate more on your studies and if you are a graduate, involve yourself more in what makes you happy.
You should be the one leaving these guys instead of waiting for them to leave.Don't compromise, else you won't feel fulfilled at the end of it.

Some men don't know how to dress up and a woman can brush them up.She wants her man to look good for her and that is important.
Not dressing up well because other women might get attracted is not a good mindset. It's like not driving a brand new car because other people might start staring at you.
A man who wants to start digging other women does not need to dress so smart before the women come.I speak as a man and i know.
