If you check the link above, you would see players that earned up to $100 million in their career declaring bankruptcy, what's $15 million that can't be lost if you're careless. It's not easy to make millions of dollars but it's harder to hold on to it. You think billionaires like Dangote, Musk, Zuckerberg etc are stupid looking for more money despite being billionaires?
