Men lived like animals those days because they thought we die and end like animals; no afterlife, no judgement, no Power in being Holy. That was what they thought. If the exemplary Jesus was not born, the sane world as we know it today would not exist. Indeed, HE already saved the world by showing that death is not the end of Man; and that sane holiness is true Love; very possible.
