All these their policies dey confuse most times. If you received USD into your Dom account, you have the right to request USD cash at the counter. BigCabal: The 34-year-old engineer in this #NairaLife made a career switch into oil and gas in 2014. Since that time, his basic salary has grown to ₦1.7m/month. Now, he wants to retire in six years with $1m in liquid assets. How does he hope to get there?
Source: https:///39nGEim Everytime I read these Nairalife stories, I feel like committing suicide for having wasted all these years in my current place of employment. A guy was featured about 2 weeks ago and his life history exactly matched mine. He currently earns six times my present emoluments, just because he realised the importance of job hopping early on. I know I'm not that dumb, neither do I claim to be super-smart. All hope is not lost. I'll achieve full utilisation of my potentials, by God's special grace. |

ogb12: Good afternoon Pls what is the best area of specialization in nursing for those wanting to travel out(especially as a male nurse) Mental health nurses tend earn higher than Adult and childcare nurses. On the whole, the highest paid nurses are the anaesthetic nurses. But you'll have to gain further experience and write additional exams to qualify as an anaesthetic nurse. |

Olufemi94: Good morning, Ma Congratulations on your feat.
Thank you for sharing this process with us.
My fiancee is a practicing member of your noble profession (RN. BNSc Nursing Science) here in Nigeria. She has about 4 years experience.
We intend to relocate to the UK. However, I need clarification in the following regard:
1. Is it better to be wedded before relocating or after?
2. I am privileged to be working here (I have a BSc in Biochemistry), however, I want to know if there are job opportunities for me too over there?
3. Can I work as a Health Care Assistant?
Thank you, Ma I anticipate your response Ma. Do your wedding here so you can follow her as an accompanying spouse on her Tier-2 visa. When you get there you have the freedom of working as many hours per week, as is convenient for you. |

Imagine
Girl --- at least 1.5k to make hair. Boy --- Highest, 500h to cut hair. Girl --- buys pads. Boy --- buys no pads. Girl --- has high chances of being raped. Boy has lowest chances of being raped. Girl --- has a biological clock. Boy --- has no biological clock. You're viewpoint is myopic on so many aspects. |

aluyapreston: Bury Eminem. Bro Do you Know that MGK is no longer a rapper anymore and he is now into Rock music.
Eminem buried him in Killshot. Rap Devil was a surface rap while Killshot intelligently and scathingly attacked MGK, P Diddy, Iggy Azaela and everything related with MGK. Eminem told him that one call to interscope and he will make him swayze. Swayze actually is a movie in which the main character disappeared from existence as a ghost. You know what, Eminem went on to fulfill his promise. MGK rap career ended. He later stated that the diss was bad business for him. He is now into rock
Eminem is not who to pick and at 49 he is really still good He buried Ja rule career, buried MGK, Buried Nick Cannon (was that guy even a rapper) and gave the world 5O cent, Kendrick Lamar, Jon Bellion and lots more.
however to be honest, Eminem is done for now. he should retire. at least he tried. it is because of him the word "Stan" is now in the English dictionary courtsey of his song Stan 2000.
He also hols the record for the fastest, second Fastest, and third fastest rap in history; Godzilla, Majesty and Rap God respectively. Thank you my friend for setting the facts straight! |

membranus: JP Morgan, and other Investment Banks, have venture capital division. I'd beg to disagree on that. Those banks have their Investment Banking divisions that provide services relating to advisory, due diligence, M&A, etc. JP Morgan has a Private Equity holding (JP Morgan Partners LLC) not VC. Modus operandi of VCs and PEs are quite different. PE firms provide funding with a view to gaining majority control of an existing or mature firm. Firms that are well past their growth phase. VCs on the other hand are not primarily interested in having majority control, but would rather provide funding to have a stake in early-stage startups that have a high potential for strong growth and performance. Those are the kind of partners OP should be looking for. Banks and PE firms would rather be interested in investing in an already running company (usually one they deem to be under-performing and under-estimated, take control of the company's management and operations, turn it around for the better and then sell it off - exit the investment per se - when the fortunes of the acquired company have improved). |

IsaacRocks: #Storytime. I Once went to the bank to pitch one of my products (a lean startup under Pantakers) to one of the popular Banks in Abuja, after talking about the partnership type and showing my prototypes and idea, carelessly the lady just looked straight at me and said.
"No1 I don't understand what you are talking about.
No2 you can have access to any facility either in loan or fund from the bank".
This statement almost killed me immediately, mhen entrepreneurs in Africa especially Nigeria are suffering oo, with tears in my eyes . I left there knowing that God that gave me the idea will water it and those banks will one day come and beg to invest in my idea. I'm sorry I'll be sounding this way, but I can't recall reading anywhere, even abroad, of banks funding startups at the incubation stage. I stand to be corrected. Most projects at a stage like yours, tend to get funded by contributions from friends, family, personal savings and angel investors. Bank loans tend to come in during growth phase. It might be a very bad idea to kick-off using bank loans as your funding base. Did you have a prior relationship with the bank you visited, for them to profile you and gain an understanding of your ability to pay back the loan? |

The sit-at-home order was actually enforced around the entire Southeast and not just Imo state.
Enugu and Ebonyi are currently on lockdown now as we speak.

If Seun wishes to turn a blind eye and let Nairaland be overrun with falsehood, please show that you yourself can at least let truth be heard once in a while.
Thanks. |
