noobody: Download maybe gcam or another camera to see if it would work, then you can be sure it's a hardware or miui camera issue.
Cheers I've installed GCam. Still doesn't work. It won't launch when I call up the app. Same thing for other apps that require the camera to function. |

Currently using a RN7. Warranty expired. I did a phone reset and since that time, my camera has stopped working, including all apps that require camera function (Camscanner, WhatsApp status update, Adobe reader, etc).
Whenever I call up the camera, I just get the error message "Still cannot connect to camera. Try restarting your device ". See screenshots.
What can I do to resolve the issue?

mojolajesu: After proper evaluation, I figured that the issue isn’t home ties. Reason because there are usually 4 home ties you could use. Professional, Marriage, Business and properties.
I use professional. I work with a Microsoft Partner here in Nigeria in line with my intended course of study.
The point is that, The VO figured that since I am on a loan, I will be tied in the US to repay the loan before coming back. That means I haven’t provided sufficient reason to come back after school.
If I have full funding, I can prove to the VO that I don’t have anything to do in the US once I am done with my studies then come back to my company to pick a managerial role based on my new degree.
I hope this helps. Hi. What if you have an uncle resident in Nigeria who's willing to sponsor you 100%? I'm just asking. |

I hope this helps. You might need to ask further on what makes up home ties. They are not mutually exclusive and the VO's decision is at his/her discretion based on an appraisal of your circumstances. The VO will not just pick only one factor (Professional, Marriage, Business or properties) to determine the strength of your home ties. Reappraise your approach. Best of luck. |

mojolajesu: The VO nicely gave me a blue letter.
Well, I didn’t stop there, I pleaded that he tell me what I am not doing right with my application. He was so nice to say “I will advice you work on your Home ties. They are not strong enough.”
I went back to my hotel room battered and shattered.
My advise and what I am working on is to get a full funding before trying again.
I am available to answer questions and clarification about the whole thing.
Thank you. Since the VO was kind enough to tell you that the issue was one of weak home ties, why are you still insistent in your belief that the problem was one of funding? |

I don't believe the story.
It looks more as if someone came in on them, killed them both, cut off the already dead man's member and kept it beside the girl.
The scene looks to suggest that the penis was cut AFTER the man was already dead. |

Redstorm: I see that a lot of people take pride in addressing or introducing themselves using their job titles, for example like Pharmacist John, Nurse Grace, Builder Idris, Architect Biodun, Barrister Okoye etc, instead of just Mr. X or Mrs. Y. The most annoying is the ubiquitous title Engr. used by every tom, dick and harry who knows just a little about a certain technical vocation.
When I compare this to what obtains abroad (Europe and America) I notice that the only common job titles in use over there are Dr. and Prof. I've seen a full American professor address himself simply as Dr. (something that will never happen in Nigeria). And they are supposed to have more technical know-how than us, right? Yet they don't flaunt their job titles. So why is our own different? Whereas in banks, even CEOs are referred to by their first names. |

Damn!!! Putin, a man with iron balls !! No my brother. It's not fear of Russia, but fear of an all out nuclear war, which may also affect you in Nigeria. Putin in his deranged state, is ready to deploy nuclear weapons. So many other countries also have nuclear weapons at their disposal. What do you think would happen to the world if they shifted to using nuclear weapons? NATO and it's members are treading with caution and weighing their options as events unfold. |

celtel: Hi if it is true you have the 4000 pounds offer, this is my honest opinion as I presently stay in the UK( outside London) and left a 7digit salary to come here too. Firstly pray and get GOD's leading and if that is done, 4000pounds is more than enough for you. my own expenses are below: House rent - 742 Council tax - 130 Gas - 30 Standard meaning you can put on anything when and how you want. Electricity - 45 TV Licensing - 159 Feeding for 4 - 300 max transport - 120 0r less, because I work from home.
Total = 1,526
As long as you are cool headed and also I just got a car so transport will become easier for my and my family but I have also paid insurance and tax for it ( insurance is expensive because we are still going to be using international passport to drive for now is 200 including tax.
Your 4000pounds is worth much more than your N1,500.000. Thanks a lot for this breakdown. Been looking for something with black-and-white figures like this. Rent in which area please? My wife'll soon move to Manchester as an NHS nurse and we're pretty concerned about the rent prices we've been seeing on Zoopla and Rightmove. Handy tips would be appreciated please. |

Travel › Re: My Plan To Relocate To Uk by Tinyemeka(m): 5:26pm On Feb 21, 2022 |
Ibk2020: @op #1.5m per month is alot of money in Nigeria, truth is you can't earn more or equivalent in uk except or probably 5 years of your stay in u.k. Meaning you have to spend more than 5 years in u.k before you can be earning upto #2m per month excluding bills. Japa is for a better living and that of your kids. Now for your business in naija, I advice you have a plan to be coming to naija once in 3 months to monitor and audit .
Edited. Using myself as a case study, I started earning 500k ($2000) per month in 2016. In 2021 I was earning 600k ($1200). In 2022, am currently planning to japa before the end of this year.
@op, think twice! Hmmm... A colleague who was earning N115k monthly, relocated in the 3rd week of January. By mid-last week (2nd week of February) he was already looking to sell £2,000 he had earned from his factory job. He moved as accompanying spouse of his wife's study visa. |

YourBestSelf: Okay. I see lots of japa posts all over the Nigerian internet space.
Now, I'm wondering...
If you had the ability to earn whatever you wish, how much will you be earning here in Nigeria, that the thoughts of permanently relocating abroad becomes unlucrative? $10,000 per month. That and nothing else. Tell the village people that you didn't see me! |
Business › Re: Can I Sell My House To Invest In Business ? by Tinyemeka(m): 11:56am On Feb 21, 2022 |
POSmecrhant: I have a self contained Flat that's giving me 165k every year. But I want to sell the place to invest in business that will give me 120k to 150k every month, because I'm married now, responsiblites will spring up. and dont want to depend fully on 180k salary.
Could this be good or bad idea? Bad idea. If you were selling it to travel to the US or UK, that would have been a different case, in the sense that your relocation "might" put you in a situation of earning a much higher Naira income that you'd use to repurchase a new property. But since you're planning on selling to invest in a Nigerian business, I'd rather advise that you seek your funding from a different source. So if God forbid the business was to go bad, you'd still have your real estate intact (and appreciating in value as time progresses). |
