Never allow anyone pressure you into marriage, this actually is a reminder, I was been pressurized some years ago and so I almost ended up with a guy who talks anyhow and even said something annoying to my mum before me and I was like 'yeepa mogbe', his family even wants a protruding tummy before marriage and I tot to myself Adunni Ade, this has never your kind of man, everybody including friends wanted me to go ahead with the marriage when I declined, (they feel I was getting old). Well he got married a year later and I got married 4 years later.

People would be pressurizing people up and down to get married as if they would live the marriage for them. This is how some people marry the wrong persons because of pressure and unnecessary opinions of some people.

You've misinterpreted that verse
If anyone speaks to another, in a language only he knows and speaks
then such person is speaking mysteries only God understand
as the other doesnt and wouldnt understand what the one speaks

Toks2008, you have this whole matter warped up.
It is the Holy Spirit Toks2008, that energises the spirit man.
It is the Holy Spirit that awakes your spirit
It is the Holy Spirit that reinvigorates your spirit

The soul is impoverished, if the spirit man is cut off from the Holy Spirit/God
The soul is at the mercy of the flesh, if the spirit isnt receiving broadcast signals from the Holy Spirit/God.
When you're tuned in to the Holy Spirit/God, the Spirit relays the will of God, thats feds into the spirit man
which then passes this off to the soul, after which the soul distributes to the body (i.e. relevant and/or appropriate five senses)
Our five senses are: sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch
and the organs for these five senses are the: eyes, nose, ears, tongue and skin

3 John 1:2, says:
"Beloved, I pray you to prosper concerning all things and to be in good health, just as your soul prospers."

The soul prospers, when the spirit man is awaken, plugged in and charged(ing) up by the Holy Spirit/God

Speaking in tongue, does not, you Toks2008 a believer, awaken your spirit.
It isnt, as you're already a believer, for you or for your benefit,
but is, for the benefit of the unbeliever(s).

Honestly speaking if you have not been speaking in tongue, you may be missing something serious here. Some people believe it's not a must to speak in tongue after baptism in the Holy ghost but the bible is clear. I feel this inner peace and joy after speaking in tongues for hours. Just try it out. It sweetens soul. It energizes you from within.

There is this girl I met at my working place in the mid last year, we exchanged contact that day, and one thing led to the other and we started dating. We are really into each other and I can sense how much she care about me compared to other relationships I have been in the past.

But when my mum got to know about her, she said she's not in support with our relationship and she has never said such in my past relationship.
