China is battling to lift the ban on their dairy products after it was found that batches of their exported products were contaminated...I can go on and on with links and references of banned livestock products..these are governments that take no chances in the safety of their people. But when it is replicated here, the reverse is the case. what a country!

I read a news here on nairaland where the federal government was warning against importing frozen chicken and turkey meat due to the outbreak of ebola across the globe.A lot of countries have taken stringent measures to curtail agricultural produce being imported into their land. But here, people are lambasting the government for doing their work! even though they said the meat might be dangerous to the public hence its destruction. you nigerians are like the proverbial isrealites in the wilderness, stubborn, headstrong and outright ungrateful..you want a government that works, but in the same vein attack them for doing the right thing. .twa!

Its like the government want Nigerians to start eating turkey in their dream since its out of reach for most Nigerians due to the cost.

As old as i am i have only bought life turkey once and i can imagine how many people would be able to cough out 15/25k to buy just one life turkey even if i believe frozen chicken shoud be avoided since we can get cheap ones for 1k but for turkey i dont support the ban.

These countries exporting it here are not evil hence will never export any contaminated product but when you hear of spoilt ones been brought in what really happens is that customs must have seized them and maybe released them days after and because these traders will want to recoup their money will still bring them in.

Of-course not. Bride price should be paid by the man but then i believe the issue of bride price in today's world have been blown out of proportion and what we see today is totally absurd.

Tradition is very important and must be adhered to but let me make it clear to many pastors who have not found it necessary to understand the concept of bride price from the Biblical point of view and to many ignorant people who have misconstrued the essence of the act.

DEMANDING MONETARY OR MATERIAL BRIDE PRICE FOR A CONSENSUAL UNION IS NOT BIBLICAL BUT A PRODUCT OF MAN MADE GREEDY TRADITION

In the bible, 50 shekels of silver was the amount a man who RAPES a virgin must pay AS A PENALTY for the wrong doing and even after paying the father of the lady can still deny him the lady in question beacuse the money paid is a penalty for the crime but today the greedy world have made this a reference point to demand for insane amount on a lady who is far from been a virgin.

Deuteronomy 22:28-29 reads "Suppose a man is caught raping a young woman who is not engaged,He is to pay her father the bride price of fifty pieces of silver, and she is to become his wife, because he forced her to have intercourse with him. He can never divorce her as long as he lives"

Exodus 22:16-17 also states “If a man seduces a virgin who is not betrothed and lies with her, he shall give the bride-price for her and make her his wife. If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money equal to the bride-price for virgins.

The most acceptable bride price according to the bible should be paid ONLY FOR VIRGINS in form of gifts or maybe even money only at the discretion of the groom to be as seen in the case of Abraham sending his servant to bring a wife for Isaac and never by demand as we see today where they will ask the man to come and collect a list from the bride's family.

Thinking for a while how the mechanic achieved that, i realised it is possible. These were the conditions i thought of;
1. Move as much weight as posible to the front
2. Lose as much weight as posible from the rear.
3. Increase as much as possible the rear ground clearance.
That means removing rear seats, most of the suspension parts of the affected wheel and spare tire/tools. Use a very high suspension coil spring for the other rear wheel as evident in the picture. The driver can add some weight on his foot well plus his weight should achieve that but without a passenger. Am sure it will be very unstable.

God was more concerned about adulterous men than the act of divorce itself but over the years the same adulterous men have de emphasised the adultery part and blackmailed women into staying in misery with adulterous men.

God spoke 5 chapters condemning adultery and unfaithfulness yet they never preach that. Hence people read the bible for yourselves

If we all look at it critically,adultery is not a ground for divorce for a lady but for only the man.

In many contexts when bible talks about he,it usually applies to both gender but in the case of divorce based on adultery,its clearly specific that adultery is a ground for the man to divorce and not the woman.

Yes adultery is a sin but given the fact of the polygamous tendencies of men i do not see any logic in a lady divorcing her husby cos of this.

There is no guaranty that the nxt man wont do worse.

In my opinion,marital infidelity is not about sexual infidelity alone.

A man or woman who refuses the spouse conjugal right has comitted marital infidelity

A spouse who beats up the partbner has commited marital infidelity

A man who also refuses to tend to the emotional needs of the wife is also guilty of marital unfaithfullness.

So a man or woman can dvorce based on these reasons yet we are encouraged to fgv one another 70 x 7 times a day so as believers,we really should not be involved in divorce.

A married lady who divorces based on watever reason shall live as an adultress all the days of her life if she gets nvolved wth anthr man while a man who dvrces wife asides from sexual infidelity is guilty of making that lady an adultress.

Very twisted but the bottpmline is that we should avoid divorce at all cost.

What on earth will a 40year old man be looking for if not a wife and please tell me,how many years courtship does he need. So a lady who is interested in setting down is tagged desperado but not necessarily a frustrated lady.

At a stage in a man or woman's life we need to be desperate for matrimony.
