New crescent: I know vividly this is coming from an APCphobian. You never see anything good from Lagos government since 1999 yet you ply it's roads, used it's facilities, earn a living there. All said, it shows you are not in-tune to Globalization and Economic development. I believe it's hightime we try another set of people and get rid of the current occupant in the seat of power. They have no Locus standi to be there.
People like you will always have problems understanding the political terrain of this country, they already gave out the names of those who hold forte in the new party (APC) tell me what makes them 'another set of people' according to your warped view undecided

koruji: You have being drinking herbs you were told to bath in - that is the only explanation to explain a brain coming up with the below.

Even your GEJ who is doing his level best to slow Lagos down by attempting to stop the next tranche of funding already being disbursed to Lagos will be beaming with smiles tomorrow; grateful to rub shoulders with Clinton and be "associated" with such a lofty project.
..but you have not tackled the post you quoted undecided this is a waste of energy on your part, you have just succeeded in making a big foooool of yourself! cool

..the level of rot in that sector is indeed bigger than Nigerian Presidents, just check out the timeline of our past Presidents, no one has ever come close to reveal the unprecedented savagery going on in this sector as the Jonathan's government, how I wish this 'diabolical system of government' we called Democracy will implode for something more purposeful and brutal against these corrupt-minded ones in high places....indeed, this is worrisome cry

..another 'jeun soke' project in the domain of TINUBU himself, one wonders when Lagos will be changed to TINUBU State. Anywhere you go,you must see his thumbprint, little wonder Lagos is moving at that pace despite the staggering amount Lagos is generating every month! Lagosians are in for a real sweat time!

Webmasters › Re: Nairaland Is The Most Visited Website In Africa... by tomakint: 3:40pm On Feb 20, 2013
I really believe NL is a great site but seun needs to work a little harder. I have been using NL since 2005 and NL has sure come a long way. Seun Osewa deserves a standing ovation.

My recommendations are as follows:
1. Seun should stop being media shy. You run a site that has the potential of generating millions in revenues. The users want to know u. Your story. How it started. Your Bio etc. Look at Linda Ikeji. When did she start? Her site isn't as good as yours. You need to be more professional. Let the corporate world know what you have. Over 1 million members. Countless number of visitors. That is VERY marketable.
2. You need to monetize the site. I'm not talking abt this ur new advert scheme. What stops etisalat from advertising on here or MTN or even GTB. Beat FM. TM lewin etc. You need to expand ur horizons. Get a advertisement consultant. Sort for adverts. You'll be glad u did.
3. You need to create mobile apps for Nairaland urgently. First with Blackberry (most nigerians choice), android, Windows phone and IOS. One problem I av with NL is getting notifications when a thread I'm following or I commented on has been replied to. Or when I have been quoted. An app that has push content will solve that.
Goodluck!!!
Seun, I hope you will buy this good advice, and remember to consider me when the goody goody finally jell wink Seun Baba, wa sere cheesy

Politics › Re: Filth: Lagos To Shut Ladipo Market Indefinitely by tomakint: 1:07pm On Feb 20, 2013
That's the effect of 'population pressure' in Lagos, many people just want to come and 'die' in Lagos for the fun of it! To some, even though they are dying business-wise for them to tow the path of honour and prayerfully seek for greener pastures somewhere else they just preferred to keep hoping and before you know it they will get trapped and eventually too old to make any meaningful decisions, the idea is if you are in a place and you are counting 2, 3 years and things are not jelling, scram before it is too late! cool

What Nairalanders do here especially at the politics section is plebiscitary in nature and I foresee Nairaland playing that part on the long run in the history of this country when the time is ripe for a real PLEBISCITE! When Nairaland has fulfilled this mission (of changing the course of events in Nigeria) then the name, Oluwaseun Osewa, will be etched in the history book of TITANS! cool
