Romance › Re: I Love White Women And I'm Not Ashamed by tpiah: 7:32pm On May 12, 2009
monatoetje:
really? Ok, probably a black woman would not try to kill the white woman , however it has happened to me that Nigerian wives of friends of my husband tried to hook him up with their single Nigerian friends. According to them i was not good enough because i am NOT Nigerian and don`t cook the food nor do i speak the language.
So puleazzee stop acting as if black women are angels and don`t dislike white women for dating " their men ".
It also happened that while my husband and i were walking on the street together , that a black woman kinda started wiggling her ass in front of my husband and then she laughed and told her friends that she doesn`t understand what he`s doing with a white woman.
Lots of angry/fristrated black ladies outthere , it`s just that they try to cover it up!!!!!
they do that to everyone, actually. Even fellow Nigerians.

I doubt its a "country" thing. Women from anywhere can do it.

Politics › Re: You’re Racist, Lebanese Accuse Nigerian Immigration. by tpiah: 6:04pm On May 12, 2009
I dont see why Nigeria cant award citizenship by birth. Is this a colonial era law? huh

Most times, birthright citizenship benefits the host country and helps economic growth.

It only becomes a problem during global meltdowns.

It could also help a lot of immgrants who feel they're "not Nigerian" despite having lived in Nigeria for decades, to feel less inclined to violence, imo.

I could be wrong though since many African problems have constantly defied solution.

Culture › Re: Why Don't White People Have African Surnames? by tpiah: 5:33pm On May 12, 2009
In the US for instance

besides, there are African names which have been anglicized eg Coffee/Cuffee/Cuiffee or something which I think was originally Ghanaian or central African.

Anyone looking for old African names in America should start from the southern states like Mississippi, not the northern areas where many of the whites immigrated from Europe within the last century or two.

And you're more likely to find place names that were originally African or native American, not people's names, since those change all the time.

In Africa, "whites" with African names are more likely to have intermarried with and diffused into the local population over time, so what you'd have are Africans with white surnames.

For them to remain white and keep their African names, they'd have to be a distinct community like the Afrikaners in south Africa, with a policy of segregation in order to maintain that whiteness.

The Delta governor is trying, as long as bad belle people dont frustrate him. And he doesnt get overconfident.

I dont think you're a Nigerian at all, becasue the kind of ignorance you're demonstrating here is terrible.

And I know of men who are saying they will be looking for Ghanaian wives!
a lot of Nigerian men are actually marrying Ghanaian wives these days. I dont know if its for their beauty or because the girls remind them of home, since some Nigerians do look Ghanaian.

And Ghanaian women have been marrying non-Ghanaians since time immemorial.

Haba Tuface!
5 kids out of wedlock, thats bad for the future of his family!

Guity (sorry Innocent) Tuface Idibia has week point in the relating to people of opposite sex. The only time I met him life, it did not take me 8 minutes to study him. I saw him in a club around Opebi - Ikeja. He watched ladies dance and lost control especially when Cossy Orjiaku flaunted her boobs. Boy, you need to be there TUFACE Totally lost control hahahaha!
Hope Innocent isnt his actual name? huh Naijas and irony!!!!

maybe he'll honor Cossy by "promoting" her to baby mama.

So all girls have to do is flaunt the boobs and Tuface baby is theirs? Since there are so many ladies who it seems want the prestige of being his baby mama. That's the secret to Tuface heart. cheesy

you're quite welcome.

I was reading somewhere that you can substitute pumpkin seeds for melon (egusi) but I havent tried that personally.

Dont know how long you've been in the US but if you try Jamaican stores/restaurants, their food can make you forget home. wink

Cajun cooking isnt too bad either.
