Boss, i believe i was quoted #7000 and #600 to install each too. The price difference from the Old method was like #10K. With all the wahala i was going through to get them to be innovative, i settle for their old method because i felt like they dont understand or are not willing to do the Ring Method. EgunMogaji: |
Unfortunately or fortunately, if you are my tenant, i want to do somethings different to the usual in Nigeria. I believe any apartment should have the basic living items; toilet, kitchen, stove, water, security and electricity. Even if its a room that you are renting, it should have all this amenities. This is my standard. Am even considering monthly rent rather than the yearly. Basically, trying to give back to my society and making accommodation easy for young Nigerians. This is my personal mission. |
Can you send me price for white corian countertop? Size is 30in by 96in TouchstoneNgr: |
It's good that you clarify the difference because I assumed you are one person using different Monika. [ quote author=jeftalene post=52211867] My great colleague, I was just trying to clarify a growing misconception. Very sorry if you weren't comfortable with that. Compliments of the season to you![/quote] |
No...i'm a civil engineer and I assure you that it wouldn't be a problem on my site. @Solok |
i agree with you sir. i just hate the fact that this particular man is showing himself as irresponsible. Had it been that our judiciary is working, there wouldn't be room for people to act like animal in our society. nepapole: |
Thank you. I had a good time away from the usual busy US lifestyle. Ate good meals and breath fresh air...lol The maker is a local furniture guy in Ilisan Remo Ogun State. I dont know how far he goes to do a job but i will post his contacts in case someone close to my site can benefit. I will contact my manager for his info asap. The Dresser and Kitchen furniture costed me #180K. How is your project coming up Mr. Next? |
Sorry, i was reasoning like you until i experience Igbo tenant. when everybody advised me to not let our family house to ibo, i called them all kinds of names. Today, the only ibo in my building has refused to move or pay for 19 months now. my father waited on this fool for a year to move so we can convert the house for my Old Man in retirement. the fool is still proving strong head as i speak. Come Jan. 3, the house is going down and my lawyers are also ready to face the so call Gov. on this matter. I will still rent to anybody that comes my way, but the Ibo thing is getting to be a normal occurrence. As an educated person, one should not be blame for reaching a conclusion based on consistant data result that points to the likelihood of defaulter because of sentiment |
My aim was to setup the Kitchen, toilet, cabinet and dresser. I bought all the materials needed except for granite canter top; which everyone one refer to as marble; and it took me a week to figure out that we were talking about the same thing. Anyways, I wasn't able to get one till I ran out of time. |
Tried to work on details while on ground.

Hi NL, Went home for about three weeks to do some things on my project. Did as much as time allowed.

I agree with you. I just wanted to highlight the fact that he does has potential, but because he refuses to take to correction, he keep messing up. I see a lot of young Nigerians doing the same too. I know people personally that i are good but because they believe that they are so smart, the keep doing scamming people rather than do honest work. The sad part is that, had they done the right things, they would have earn much more legally without watching their back and with less work. Hope he learn this time!!! People warned him like a million times here but he was being bone head. back2sender: |
I knew it!!! His sudden disappearance made me to ask after him but nobody seems to know his whereabouts. I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but i guess it has!!! Nigerian big boys are trying to beat him up. The true is he has built for lots of people... so that wasn't a lie. Were there happy? that is another thing. All the people that worked with him knows his capacity but love his forward and innovation initiatives. The boy is a learner that needed time to learn his trade but he was too stubborn to listen. Therefore, he keep getting himself in trouble all over the place. The worst people to do business with in places like Nigeria is the Rich. They want perfection but will never want to pay for the value. But when their project fails, they will use their evil connection and corrupt connection to punish the amateur they employee. Just my 50 Cent!!! bfire: |
I like your stuff...following |
hi, are you the direct owner? |

The same right will get a black man killed if they see him with a gun period. I lived in Baltimore for years. I have heard people with licensed gun killed simply cos the first word what " He has a Gun" nobody asked if it was legal or not. Kill then ask Question later. That,s why i refused to get a gun before now. I'm now seriously thinking about getting one. At least, i will have to go out blazing if am going to be killed. I'm sure the smart ones will be just fine. I'm just glad i have a choice. if i can't taking it no more, i will simply go wait it out in another country. I was already preparing to leave in three years anyways. US is not for everybody. After 20years and having lived 16yrs in Nigeria before, i'm sure in a position to determine the place that favor my kind of lifestyle. Success means different thing to different people. I have always been a Village boy; therefore, i dont need all the shine shine stuff to be happy. Just chatting, all is well. gabbytabby: |
I followed trump for a long time on the business side. He is not as stupid as he pictured himself to win the election. But my issue is that he was picked by racist and by doing so, he validate the hatred that US has been trying to eradicated for some many years. Now White supremacists are going to start acting a fool and there is nothing we can do about it. greenermodels: |
Do you actually believe that Republican will mind their business and not be in the affairs of other countries? please look up the defense companies's stock today. That will give you the answer. Most of the war US is in today was started under a republican regime. That how they divert our money into their private pocket, through wars. They invest in Weapons and defense companies. Then they start war and spend billions that will return back into their pockets by the way of their pre set invest vehicle. Dansuki were trying to copy them under Jona.... Start a war, share the budget funds and nobody will care! greenermodels: |
I'm contemplating getting me a gun for the safety of my family now. This could get nasty and out of hand very quick. Having an option is always better than not having one at all. Nigeria has its good and bad but it my first home always. I love all her imperfections and hope to contribute to her development to what i will like to see mavverick: |
I'm just glad i have Nigeria as an option. I see why African American are bleeped up...Pussy grabber and Putin s playmate is now the most powerful person in the world. This is a disaster, i couldn't sleep all night. I have always believed that Americans will always do the right thing, but after last night, that believe has dissipated. I'm totally lost right now...very disappointing. I work with bunch of them Deplorable s and come see how they are celebrating this guy that going around assaulting ladies and i just dont want to think about what the racist police are going to start doing to us!!! this is a license to kill all at will |
Abuja is for Politicians. You are expected to spend as such. My Front door is 4ft and Back is 3ft. Maybe yours is the big and bullet proof one. so ask for the details before concluding. I dont know the brand but will may inquiry from Manager. Thank B3sty: |
Hi Boss, lets talk soon. i tried emailing your via this forum, but wasn't successful. Peace Tequilah: |
The front door is #52k each and the Rear is #35k or so. The inflation already factored in. I Heard the fabricated doors are stronger but my experience thus far has not proving this fact. Im yet to see a china door like my broken into in robbery attempts. And non have i heard that the Fabricated one has given way at robbery attempt. The only deciding factor for me is the NOISE from the fabricated door. SO annoying!!! and secondly, the finishing isn't that great and finally, its just as expensive, if not even more expensive than the china. Most are force to use fabricated door due to customization; their door ways are non standard measurement. B3sty: |
Door Handle being fixed on the doors. I got a glimpse of the interior for the first time in this pictures

Hi guys, Since i criticized the OPIC and Ogun State Gov. for not been transparent on their New Makun City allocation, its only fair that i update you on progress thus far. I finally got an allocation letter two day ago after three months of calling and emailing and sending my agent after them in abeokuta. Thank God i paid in full; those that were paying installment are told that there is no more land and should come for refund if they are not ready to pay in full now. That wasn't the original deal!!! its so not fair to them. I told my cousin then, that its better to pay upfront. by doing so, you will have a leverage to make demands if they are not forthcoming. Now he might not get any land after tying is money down for months. I hope OPIC sticks to their promise because they are the one that proposed the installment and promised they will reserve lands for them. Whats next? we have 18months to work on the lot, but haven't given us our survey yet. Hope that comes in on time and the building permit are process within reasonable amount of time for allotted to meet the time set out. Good luck to me and others out there that bought into the project. Lastly, if you bought into New Makun City, please make yourself known, it will be nice to form a group for the estate and pursue common interest via the group. Peace!!! |
This is typical of us. these are contemporary homes. Not the usual we are accustom to seeing in Nigeria. The price is reasonable for responsible person that is young and willing to live within his or her earnings. Some of us are poor but want to our first home to be a mini mansion. omenka: |
The hollow block are covered by Coping. A slab of reinforced concrete that prevents water from entering. AND on the highest side, it was covery using aluminum sheet coping. I don't have a good picture from the top area. I will request for it on your behalf. |
