RomanceRe: Where Do The 'wifey' Materials Frequent? by True2myself24(f): 2:31pm On Jan 05, 2013
NOIBMUUL: Look at it this way.... Isn't there a generally accepted standard or set of qualities that make a wifey material or husband material? I'm sure most of us will agree that some people are good-looking just the same way others are not that good-looking (even though we all subscribe to the school of thought that says beauty is in the eye of the beholder). We all certainly know a mad man when we see one, or a successful person when we read about them.

So in as much as I would like to admit that a wifey material is personal thing, there still exist that generally accepted benchmark that qualifies a lady as one.

Besides, if we all were to have different opinions about a thing, the opinions would still overlap in certain areas. Don't you agree?
I still think the definition of wife material is a personal thing. What works for one may not be a big deal for another.

RomanceRe: dos It Sting When Ur X Is Getting Married? by True2myself24(f): 8:12pm On Jan 04, 2013
It's normal to feel that way, but know that feelings come and go. Don't let the past get in the way of your possible future with the woman you're with now. It's not worth it. And why are you so involved in the wedding anyway? There's nothing wrong with wishing her well but to be so involved in it is another story.

RomanceRe: I Rather Remain Single Than Marry A Fat Lady. by True2myself24(f): 7:07am On Jan 04, 2013
xynerise: The big and beautiful lady in NL am sorry to generalize this but you fat ladies are too uncomfortable for my liking. I pray to God that I will never marry a fat lady. I am a faithful guy and can never cheat on my gal but I told her to keep fit and slim cos if she gets fat I will definately cheat on her. I always tell my friends that on the day of my wedding I will carry my wife like a child but how can my dream come true if she is fat? They are too dull in bed, too lazy and you can not do some certain styles of sexx with them. grin. Seriously I always tell my gal to do the sit ups and jog always. Cos when I start acting funny she will remember what I told her. I can even date them let alone marry them. They sweet a lot.
Just thought I'd let you know you contradicted yourself.

RomanceRe: How Have People Tried To End Your Relationship? by True2myself24(f): 10:52pm On Dec 31, 2012
Hmm where to start...
1. One of my close friends tried to convince me that I should leave my boyfriend because I would make a better couple with my boyfriend's best friend.
2. Another former friend told me not to commit to my boyfriend and that I should just let him spend money on me.
3. My mom tried to convince me that I shouldn't consider marriage with him because we're not from the same country.

Ahhhh... A year later we're still strong and walking into the new year together. Thank God I'm the kind of person who just hears people instead of listening to everything they say.

RomanceRe: My Man Has No Job,yet We Want To Av Our Marriage Soon!!! by True2myself24(f):
If I were you I'd wait. He should at least have something going for himself before you guys get married and then you guys can build up the rest together. He doesn't have to be set in his career but he should have at least some kind of income to support his family. You don't want to rely on only one person bringing in the income, unless you make more than enough for both of you. But if you dont, what happens if you lose your job or if you get pregnant and need to stay home for some time after a child comes into the picture. Just take your time, really weigh the pros and cons with him, and don't rush into anything you'll regret later.

RomanceRe: State 3 Values You Have Added To Your Relationship by True2myself24(f): 6:33am On Dec 30, 2012
I think your question should be, how much value has your partner added to your life because you can never be totally objective enough when it comes to judging yourself. Of course we all want to believe that we've added some kind of value to our partners' lives but only they can really say what impact we've really made.
