udemzyudex:This is the exact mindset that scare the shivers out of me. Get a crack? Despite legal alternatives existing? What do you know about trojans, bad middlewares and spywares to offer such an unprofessional opinion? I dont have a single cracked software on my systems because there are free open-source alternatives in case i need to use the service. Have you any experience with OS security? Mention the 'right-source' for cracked softwares. Do you even know the threat that cracked softwares bring to the table? You can keep having your pedestrian mindset until the day you start having important files on your systems. |
For Linux Installations, confirm if your device has 'Secure Boot' and disable it before a fresh installation. Each device/distribution would be different so use google and get going. If no Secure Boot, installation is as simple as creating the USB installer and following prompts.. For Windows, if you already have a genuine copy of the Windows 10 OS on the device, you can reinstall a fresh copy, following guides given by GloriousGbola above. If you don't have a genuine copy, you can still install but you would not be able to personalise the themes, wallpapers etc. You would also be stuck with the warning shown in the attached image. For Mac, ensure that your device can install the version of Mac OS you desire. Also check if your device has the T2 chip or not. Finally, ensure that you follow guidelines from Apple discussion forums on your model. You can also get higher OS for lower devices by following guides on Open Core Legacy Patcher. Mac OS is free of charge, Linux is free of charge. Windows 10 is free to use with limited personalisation options. For all 3 Oses, ensure you are using genuine copies and not Chinese/Russian cracks. There is no free crack anywhere. You are paying for it, one way or another.

udemzyudex:So in summary, are you advocating that people should install cracked, spyware-infested softwares? |
Julius209:Exactly. Everyone wants to work on other people' projects but are afraid to use their skills to start theirs. If you are that good, look for a tech need in your community and solve it. Look for small businesses around you and tell them you build websites. Wake up and walk into schools, offices, shops etc every free day and market yourself. Show them your landing page and other jobs you have done. OP, You need experience as your landing page is very green. I wish you the best |
fhranchez:So i must know PHP/Laravel before i become a fullstack? Why must he delete what he built? He is not claiming to be a dev-god. He doesnt need to be perfect. If you have a job to give him do, if not, criticise positively. You being a CTO, gaslighting newbies and forming god is scary. |
Use Express Get a Database connected Serve via endpoints Secure the bag |
GREATIGBOMAN:All i can say is that either your main supplier of hemp has relocated or he sold you ordinary tobacco this time around. This is the first draft from you that tries to honestly review someone's effort and i am surprised. What would surprise me more would be if you keep this trend. |
hooge:As an addendum, my recommendation is the 2015 MBP core i7 with 16gb RAM. From 2015, I would jump every other thing made till 2018. 2016/2017 is prone to keyboard issues if you dont use in a clean and air-conditioned environment. If you dont have up to 300k for the config, you can go lower (up to 2012). Dont go below 2012 except you cannot afford any other thing else. |
A lot of people will not travel from their village and be comparing online rates. Ghana that some landlords are charging rents in USD because their cedis is so unpredictable? Ghana has two currencies at the moment. The cedis for poor transactions and the USD for normal expensive trx. As naira bad reach, no body is quoting car sales in USD yet in Nigeria. The best currency in west africa presently is the XOF/CFA. The only reason why the CFA is the best performing is that it is tied directly to the Euro as a constant rate. So you are indirectly spending the Euro. |
right questions are not being asked. Who paid hangar fees for the last 10 years? Who used it during these period? Who kept it airworthy? Are we saying there was no one in the whole government who could notice that a whole plane was missing? If the Wike government could not identify a missing plane for 7 years, how many Hilux and Prados have gone under the radar? |
LikeAking:Full web dev? Figma is a design tool. It lets us see how the ideas could look like before you even write a single line of code. Have you heard of MVC Architecture? I would suggest you do more research. |
LikeAking:Even FAANG still sketch before coding. Will you first code, show the client and when corrections are required, start all over? Design is templated first, locked before it is forwarded for programming. Have you worked in a team before? How did you handle standardisation? |
LikeAking:For your mind, HTML and CSS is what makes a frontend? |
LikeAking:You would come back to this post one day. Now let me ask. What other tools do you have in mind? |
3exe3:OP has never worked in a real tech company. OP is just learning HTML and CSS...javascript is for next month One of the two statements is true (at least). |
I don’t understand this statements by the OP. Figma designs are there to guide the frontend dev on how the product should look like. As to all those gimmicks of converting figma designs to html, it is for very basic sites. If them born any figma designer, make he come replicate reactive sites where content changes with many variable inputs. If your frontend is being challenged by ordinary figma designers, then, your frontend journey is still long. |
LUAN1:Many devs starting have used that config. However, don’t expect blazing speeds and dont plan to add mobile app development in future. When you advance to full stack, having your database, server, development browser and IDE running might start tasking the old lady. By the time you get to that level, you should be able to migrate to more advanced systems. Dont be afraid to start small. |
Entprys:What pained me most was the people changing new mint at the party. They came with only 100 USD bills. I was like...kilode? for ordinary burial? Is it because na Mama Charlie die? I comot eye for their stand, kukuma decide to go spray the Naira i came with like that. That was how the MC announced that all Naira sprayers should move to the canopy outside and spray the picture of Mama ''Chars" that was placed specially for them. I no listen, na so i carry my lasigidi agidi to the front, shoving everybody away so i could pass....See crowd. I pushed one man, he pushed me back angrily and in a typical lagos voice shouted at me asking 'you no dey look face?'. I looked at. his face and it was our VP, Osinbajo. I was like...your excellency sir, 'ah no see you ni o....' As i reach front, i saw that there was a lot of cash on the floor. Dollar dey, pounds plenty. I no see Naira, i no mind. Wetin surprise me pass be say na Putin dey pick money for floor they load am inside ghana-must-go. I shouted...'Ah, President Putin make i help you nah...'. He no even answer. Na so i bone, begin spray my seven thousand naira wey i don break into hundred naira notes. I never spray reach one thousand five, when i notice say black bag don cover my face. Strong men don carry me, put inside helicopter. I dey hear dem speak pidgin. One dey talk on phone with his wife. he dey talk say na the abobaku wey escape dem just arrest and dem wan go put am inside mama charlie casket. As i hear this, i con dey speak pidgin back....i dey beg them say i no be abobaku. How i go die with queen when i noo chop life with her? Dem dey surprised say i be Naija guy. Dem talk say the abobaku wey dem wan arrest na black american. Dem con land the helicopter for Heathrow Airport, talk say make i no vex. Dem tell one pilot wey dey load Lagos to carry me, put me for front seat. Na so i thank them come back o. As i dey reach house na im i talk say make i update una. |
Abike Dabiri is the worst thing to happen to Nigeria. She is the proverbial child that speaks evil of her family. She is worse than covid-19, monkeypox and ebola all rolled into one. A loose cannon. |
Phcmayor:Instead of you to roll back into your cave of ignorance, you still have the temerity to come here to insult? Ok. I will assist you. Where, when and how was the crown stolen from Africa? Answer this question. Don't insult. You still have hope. |
Gospel2Day:shut up. you are talking about your age. Sho mo age mi ni? ![]() We dey tell you say you dey Bleep up, you dey talk wetin no concern us. All those jagbanjantis dont matter and it is an embarrassment for someone like you to be referring to your 23 year old english score as credence to your comprehension skills, of which, you are seriously lacking. You are a stubborn boy and 'word' no dey enter that your head. Except they use chainsaw to open your skull and put all volumes of Brighter Grammar beside your brain cells, i doubt you would learn how to comprehend. Mister A1 in fine arts, i hereby drop my golden pen back into the basket of love.... |
Gospel2Day:LOL NECO was established in 1999. From your claims, you had your O levels at least 23 years ago. Small argument on Nairaland, you don dey flash your secondary school result which is at least 23 years old. I am sure you feel like one village voltron. I am also sure this is not the first time you would flash that rubbish. This would definitely be your last. Learn to read to comprehend. If you no understand, read am again. Olodo rabata. |
Gospel2Day:Claiming that you had an 'A' in NECO does not matter here at all. What do you think I scored when I sat for proper WASSCE aka GCE in SS2? Does it even matter? Try to read what you just wrote and decide if it is comprehensible, concise or even a proper use of the English language . You are a good example of the serious drop in the educational standards of the current society. The simple fact that you gallivant in your ignorance scares me. You cannot read to comprehend and instead of trying to get better, you boast about your NECO scores? Redo. |
i wont be surprised if it was gumi that arranged his arrest. The guy has been possibly cutting his own deals, negotiating the train ransom business (something that gumi used to do). Gumi's utterances last week was just taqiya to fool the populace. Mamu's small yansh wantu dey shake. Speculations though... |
Gospel2Day:comprehension is not your strength. bye |
Gospel2Day:Then you dont understand. There were guns in south eastern Nigeria BEFORE the igbo nation existed. If you know how recent guns got to Africa, you would then know how new the Igbo nation is. Now if you still dont understand this, then your issues are more than comprehension. I am still awake as it is not yet night in every part of the world. |
Phcmayor:Before you open your mouth to embarrass yourself, where in Africa was the crown stolen from? |
Gospel2Day:let me give a small snippet... Guns were already in use before the igbo nation was formed. During the Aro-Ibibio wars, the Akpa clan (Ibom Isi from eastern cross river) came to help Eze Agu's clan with guns acquired from trade with Europeans. Eze Agu and his clan were settlers who planned a coup against the Ibibios that accommodated them. It was after this war that the Arochukwu confederation was formed (around 1720). |
mrvitalis:Do you really want to know? Do you really want to know how 'new' the igbo is in the scheme of things? The ivories that the Benin sold in the 15th century, do you know where they hunted the elephants? What exactly was happening in the present-day igbo areas 500 years ago? Now as to your exaltation of the Arochukwus, you seem to have forgotten that they sold their kin as slaves in the 17th/18th century and raided neighbouring villages to kidnap humans for the slave trade. They entered the game late but were so quick to flood the market with their kinsmen. Igbos were not able to fight the big wars which is why they never conquered any major power. There was no 'igbo nation' except until recent times. There were confederation of small villages scattered in the thick jungles of the south east. This why they dont have kings too (irrespective of the stories being told). The first war by the Igbos against people who didn’t speak their native language (apart from the failed resistance to the British) was the Biafran war. Do you know what that means? With the ferocity of the Arochukwus coming together as European trade blossomed and Benin got weaker, maybe another 200 years and they would have united to stifle northward trade up the Niger. Unfortunately, slave trade ended. This is not in anyway to denigrate the present-day igbos but facts are facts. |
Darteyyyy:i love your maturity and response. Server costs can be lower if you consider serverless/jamstack. One of the main issues i noticed is the color blends. The blue is too light and does not contrast well with the white. You can take it some tones up. You can do some color matching using the materials palette to get a great blend. You have good content on the site and i believe what you need to do is not as much as what you have already done. I would be following. Cheers bro |
