vclassics:Hello, how are you doing. Am interested in your IGBT aspect. When I hear from you, I will proceed with more info. |
It so happened that I over heard a Trinitarian arguing with a Muslim that the Bible no where refers to Jesus as a Servant of God. When he was shown from the Bible, he some how was short of words. But then, there it was. He Jesus was referred to as Servant of Yahweh. |
ATMC:Nope! NO. |
Jesuismoi:Come again, you talked to who? |
Joshthefirst:The above is a wrong application of Heb 7 |
plappville:Am well. Have you heard from him ? |
plappville:OK. thats good. How are you doing? I hope all is well with you? |
Joshthefirst:So, what is it that is confusing you that you imagine it should be generic? |
plappville:I believe he is OK. well, hoping he can speak for himself. |
plappville:Lol. Interesting. Good that you still remember an old friend. |
I am yet to see some one, a human that rejects the gift of Freewill. Why is it so difficult for humans to freely express their gratitude or ingratitude for it? It it is a marvelous thing to have Freewill, why won't you give it? does your not giving it make you a better person than the one that gave you Freewill? Express yourself here. |
Ubenedictus:I almost always find it funny when I hear some people talk about Tradition, one wonders, what exactly is the tradition or what qualifies to be that that the Bible is talking about? Who transmitted this tradition? Is it not curious that after Yahweh has ensured that only Jesus apostles 'ALL JEWS' wrote the teaching in the NT he will letter allow all and sundry to be the ones who will pass to us what you call tradition? traditions that Contradict the written word of God at every turn! Very funny! How then can one drew the line between what is genuine tradition and what is not like is of the written word? I know that only Jews where used to write the OT and only Jews were used to write the NT, because "Salvation originated with the Jews" as Jesus said. No room for confusion. So, the Oral tradition should come from who? None Jews? I don't think so, and apostle Paul did not say we should take example from all sorts of people. Well, my life/hope of eternal life is of serious concern to me and certainly very precious to me that am not going to Gamble with it. If Yahweh ensured to use just the Apostles in penning his written word, why shouldn't the same Apostles be the ones to give to us the genuine tradition that will lead to life eternal?. Apostle Paul certainly gave a directive on this: Philippians 4:9: 9 The things that you learned as well as accepted and heard and saw in connection with me, practice these, and the God of peace will be with you. ................................................... Yes, I agree with the above ^, Apostle Paul was an apostle and one of whom Yahweh gave the privilege to write the teaching of the NT scriptures, hence, he and other apostles are trust worthy source for trust worthy oral tradition. Why should this oral tradition be from gentiles Greek men and philosophers? Gentiles are not qualified to give us oral tradition, learning from Yahweh's example on who he made use of to give us the written scriptures. Yahweh use only Jews through out. That you and your lots accept all whatsoever that comes your way as tradition to follow does not mean I should do the same. my life is worth the carefulness. Peace. |
Freemanan:You have a very simple mind and seems reluctant to confront issues. That explained why you had left hanging obvious question above that will force you to speak based on conscience: Freemanan:I don't know why. I believe if I am to make a gift to someone the least S(he) can do is to tender a THANK-YOU! Failure to do so, I will tagged the one as an ingrate. Humans naturally look at someone that cannot say a Thank you as a bad person, infact, some do take offence if you will not return a simple thank you to them after a gift. I for one do appreciate such retort. Why won't you? don't you usually return a THANK-YOU after you receive a good deed/a favour from someone |
HIbreed:OK, I hear you. Pls, after making Insinuations about God and the reason why he did things he never explained to us, but you did, can you now kindly answer for yourself: Why would you give Freewill to your creatures? Thanks. Peace. |
HIbreed:OK, but still, will you do such? give Freewill to your creatures? What's your take? |
Gift of Freewill, is it a reasonable thing for you to give out? Do you appreciate it? |
Why are humans enjoying Freewill not having reasons to give same and outrightly not wiling to give same to their own creatures? Comments please. Are humans more righteousness? |
I stated clearly that God knows those that have taken his undeserved kindness as an excuse for loose conduct by carrying on with the practice of sins as a sport. That is, continuing in sin and thinking it is normal. See What God's word says here: 1cor 6:9-1 9 Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, 10 thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God. .... ...................................................... The above Scripture says "that is what some of you were", past tense. Should not be continuous. Asking if I have committed sin is not necessary, Am not the yerd stick, but the word of God is. That is why the way to life is called the "narrow gate and cramp" (tight difficult, restrictive) And that is the way that leads to life. . It is different from the broad road where one can do whatever s(he) he likes. Still, there is a provision to assist those that stumble and recognized that they have strayed: James 514-16 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. ........................................................... I don't think that someone can decide to be a perpetual crawler and and proud him or herself of being a Christian. A Christian should hate what God hate and follow Christ foot steps. Prayerfully depending on God to not fall into sin. All Christians know that they have a fight against human weaknesses and Satan temptations, rather than living in Satan's temptation and way without effort to hate what God hate and still claiming to being a Christian. How can such be the way to follow Christ ? = 'Christian' ? |
Evidence that the death of Christ was for reconciliation of all men: 2Cor. 5:18,19. 18 But all things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of the reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was by means of Christ reconciling a world to himself, not counting their offenses against them, and he entrusted to us the message of the reconciliation. ......................................... The death of Christ led to the forgiveness of Adamic Sin, opening a way for all the sons of Adam to approach God directly without need for animal sacrifice. A reconciliation. Romans11:13,14 13 Now I speak to you who are people of the nations. Seeing that I am an apostle to the nations, I glorify my ministry 14 to see if I may in some way incite my own people to jealousy and save some from among them. 15 For if their being cast away means reconciliation for the world, what will the acceptance of them mean but life from the dead? ................................................. With that reconciliation, every body have an opportunity to access God through Christ. Adam's sin had been a problem all along, separating man from God: Romans 5:18,19 18 So, then, as through one trespass the result to men of all sorts was condemnation, so too through one act of justification the result to men of all sorts is their being declared righteous for life. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one person many will be made righteous ............................................ The ransom of Jesus primary serves to clear away the sin of Adam, enabling each and every one of mankind to start on a clean slate with God. Romans 5:12 12 That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned. ........................................................ To get the full benefits, one has to follow on the step of Christ closely. Peace. |
Jude3-5 3 Beloved ones, although I was making every effort to write you about the salvation we hold in common, I found it necessary to write you to urge you to put up a hard fight for the faith that was once for all time delivered to the holy ones. 4 My reason is that certain men have slipped in among you who were long ago appointed to this judgment by the Scriptures; they are ungodly men who turn the undeserved kindness(grace) of our God into an excuse for brazen conduct and who prove false to our only owner and Lord, Jesus Christ. 5 Although you are fully aware of all of this, I want to remind you that our God, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those not showing faith ............................... Brazen Conduct means gross moral laxity and immorality. The beautiful thing about the above Scripture and warning is the comparison with what happened to the Israelites that Yahweh/Jehovah had brought up out of Egypt. The passage said he later destroyed them not showing faith. It is a warning to Christians. That is said to be a warning for Christians. |
Goshen360:The reason for my asking of the questions I had ask was for you to clarify on the statement you made that the reason why apostle Paul wrote that latter was because the Hebrew Christians were offering Animal Sacrifices, but you failed to show evidences for your take, hence, my questions remained unanswered. The book of Hebrews was addressed to the Hebrews showing them the superiority of the christian' way as against that of Judaism that was still in practice then. The ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ Led to the forgiveness of the inherited sin from our first father Adam, opening up the way to reconciliation with God. 2Cor 5:18,19 He let them see that becoming christian, they have the benefit of Jesus ransom sacrifice that led to the forgiveness of sins, Hence, they are to stay away from sin. That they cannot continue in sin as though they were in the old arrangement where They can carry on sinning and resorted to Animal Sacrifice continually. something inferior. He let them know that the blood of animals could not guarantee the forgiveness of sins really, as is of that of Christ, hence, they had to repeat it over and over again. When they sinned. But something superior was what Christ offered once for all times, hence, they should remain clean and not take the grace of God for granted since they cannot kill Jesus over and over again: .Hebrews10:26-29 26 For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, 27 but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a burning indignation that is going to consume those in opposition. 28 Anyone who has disregarded the Law of Moses dies without compassion on the testimony of two or three. 29 How much greater punishment do you think a person will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God and who has regarded as of ordinary value the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has outraged the spirit of undeserved kindness with contempt ....................................... Similar message was what he Paul passes on when he asked, "should we continue in sin so that Grace may abound?" He answered: God forbid! Then he was not talking to Jewish Christians but the Romans, meaning that the message not to continue in sin since Christ will not die a second time is generic and applicable to all Christians: Romans6:10-15 10 For the death that he died, he died with reference to sin once for all time, but the life that he lives, he lives with reference to God. 11 Likewise you, consider yourselves to be dead with reference to sin but living with reference to God by Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore, do not let sin continue to rule as king in your mortal bodies so that you should obey their desires. 13 Neither go on presenting your bodies to sin as weapons of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, also your bodies to God as weapons of righteousness. 14 For sin must not be master over you, seeing that you are not under law but under Grace 15 What follows? Are we to commit a sin because we are not under law but under Grace? God forbid! .................................................. So, infering that Hebrews 10:29 was for those Christians that went back for animal sacrifice, I did not see evidence for such, but rather, it is sound advice for all Christians of all ages to abstain from sin as it is the message in all other part of the christian' manual. The provisions for a Christian that commits a sin is to meet the Elders of the church and they will grease him or her with oil, then the sin will be forgiven him. Should that then be the pattern? you be the judge. But then,, does God not know the one that is taking the underserved kindness of his for an excuse for loose conduct? The book of Hebrews ATMC posted addressed such beautifully. |
Would you had given Freewill to your creatures? And what will make you do such a thing? Is it expedient to do such? What's your take? Speak out! |
truthislight:It's like most people are not really sure on this issue and could not take a stand for what they seem to take for granted all along. |
Goshen360:Did you forgot the question of the OP? And what do you think your answer is addressing from that your post in relation to her initial question? ATMC:Address the question in the light of what she posted and don't talk into the scripture. If you feel there are other scriptures bearing on the scripture she posted, please, bring it up. We all know that Hebrews was written to the Hebrew Christians, should that make it less significant to none Jewish Christians? hence, address the question directly and don't speak into it. Peace. Goshen360:Show Evidence at least that those Christians reference there were still making Animal Sacrifice, that such led to paul addressing them specifically and not binding on other Christians/Jews and none Jews Christians not guilty of such offence. |

Freemanan:OK. That means you will not give Freewill to your creatures. OK. I can relate to that. If you were to decide to give such a beautiful gift to your creatures, will you have any expectation of them considering you have given them what you know is priceless? |
Freemanan:You don't really need to go too far. The Freewill under consideration is what we all presumed to have as it is, be it absolute or not (following your drift). Will you give it to your creatures? The right for them to disobey you should they want, kill you should they want. Freewill (what we have, whatever you call it) will you give such to your creatures? peace |
Toyolad:AI seem to be a different thing from Freewill. AI can be program not to kill except cleared to. Freewill is just as it sounds 'FREEWILL' Its unique. A Freewill agent can decide to kill its owner if it wants to. Simple!. |
bxcode:Well, that is why I asked. maybe your Answer is coded. make it more explicit. Your answer seem rhetoric. |
Toyolad:To me, the one on red I can relate with, since lost of control is a terrible thing. Why should I create and give my capacity to another? you are on your own. Maybe when I know I will soon die that I will what to have someone that can seek for my throne. |
bxcode:I have not stated that I will give Freewill!!!!! The Above is one of the reason am here asking this question. So, you, will you give Freewill? |
