Here we understand that the reference to Matthew 24:28 as to the gathering of the eagles on the carcase as it relates to the second of Jesus in verse 27 of Matthew 24, is an imagery of JUDGMENT on the bodies of those who rebelled against God AFTER the beast (Anti-Christ) and the false prophet (singular) had been taken and defeated. The body of the remnants that will be slain with the sword are then fed by the vultures. So Revelation explains the context of what Christ meant in his proverbial statement in Matthew 24:28.
