Where I hail from , my mom said you don't own the child of a woman you didn't pay bride price on her head. cheesy

I once witnessed children taken away from a man all because he met a woman and started breeding.

I'm not advocating bride price though.

Just thinking aloud grin

Maybe these ones are lucky.

The oil marketer are talking on government allowing them fix refineries but the government will not adhere to it.

The road they couldn't do to inside my street I went to them to allow me do the road to my street but they refused asking me to pay them and still have to use government road contractors, so do such government want development..huh No
I was going to mention this earlier..u still have to bribe to fix roads with ur resources....Nigeria is really really hard...young people in tech are doing the most with fintech...CBN and commercial banks will still be frustrating them that they are hijacking activities of conventional banks...responsibilities that you have refused to carry out......u dont give loans to micro businesses only dem dangote n co u give loans to, small fintech will create platform to give funds to micro n small businesses ..CBN and commercial banks still dey gang up to frustrate them.

Since this administration came board, electricity has improve though not best ...but it has improved seriously
Roads, we can see that one of the highest score of this government is execution of capital project; rail, bridge, road. So you can't take that away from them
Enabling environment, you need to Google how we have been ranked high in the ease of doing business world ranking. Which means the government intervention, empowerment schemes are paying well
so all these ranking ehn...how many businesses e dun create, how many jobs those businesses dun create...shebi our unemployment rate/numbers dun reduce?

Oga. Think about it, any of the developed nation, non of their government provide job like how Nigeria government is, the highest employer of labour is the federal government of Nigeria. In other countries, it is the private sector that employ the most. So how do you expect the government to provide highest job and still provide every means for the masses. ?
nobody is asking the government to employ people, please read to comprehend, it doesnt make sense for the governement to be the biggest employer ........provide framework and policies for private businesses to flourish and grow....for example...dont ban GOKADA....be creative and make it work.....give incentives for small businesses to come up......hairdressing salon buy fuel of 3k inside generator for 365days in a year...thats almost 1 million naira....enough to open a new salon and employ 4 more persons...build storage facilities for farm products, make roads to farms motorable....a farmer harvests his crop wants to take it to city to sell and make profit of say 500k but he needs to rent big trucks that can gain access to his farm at 100k becos the roads are not motorable.....think am...these kind of things go on in every kind of sector u can think of.....these are the kind of businesses that can employ all these boys that go rob and create unrest all over the place

This man dey fall hand steady, who is asking government to be the one to employ people or put food on their table directly......make policies n framework that will make the private sector flourish, provide security...that is your only job.....the people will build their own borehole, buy their own electricity pole, build their own drainage(gutters), u are still saying they should build infrastructure......Legislators are sharing 40million cars, but the people are the ones that will build their infrastructure.... i still say it...OSINBAJO IS OVERRATED..... una same APC led governemnt heavily taxing uber n taxify that is creating serious wealth for the young population, okada dey cause accidents u ban GOKADA..government no fit build lanes for Okada..but if na to create BRT lane una go do am fast fast....as LAMATA na una daddy company.

H1 of 2020 Lagos declared that it generated 204 billion...thats a little below 35bn every month....alpha beta makes 3bn every month from lekki toll gate alone, LAWMA dey dere, LAMATA dey dere, other income sources full. Lagos actually has the resources and capacity to aspire to become a proper mega city, not a mediocre mega city it is right now. Someone n his cronies cashing out as much as 10bn every month from Lagos state.

I pray we wake up to realise this truth.

The technical colleges will benefit our economy immensely. That's how China made it.
Its not a coincidence that 2 of the 4 biggest economies in the world gives so much importance to technical education. China n germany. In my dear country polytechnic n technical schools are not properly funded their graduates are treated with disdain. Employers that should give them preference are even contributing to it, imagine an engineering firms contributing to this discrimination.

I guess fashion designing gives room for more creativity , self expression and if properly done, this should give a higher chance of profitability....and I think people are generally more obsessed with clothes than hair. With fashion designing u also have a higher appeal to the international market

I understand you perfectly

If he plans to stay abroad for the rest of his life then Good luck . However, people living abroad still invested heavily at home for various reasons .

Remember I made an example earlier on of a guy that lives abroad but collects 17m in Naija as passive income yearly on FGN bond . This guy will collect this money for 30 years amounting to over 510m in total against an initial investment of 100m . The 100m was sourced from USA . Are u telling me if this guy decided to convert all the yearly coupon to dollars, he won’t make more than the initial invested dollars equivalent huh
Wait o brother, y is everybody not doing this, are u sure its as easy as u put it, is the 17m guaranteed or d profit subject to market forces like a normal investment market

Updated: I see now...I imagined 17m monthly when I first read it...good investment
