Alphadoor: SA has a document checklist on their website, its pretty much straight forward to use.
Start prepping with the list ASAP and the cost is 200aud Thanks for the reply. I have a list of the requirements but I only need clarification on some of them. |

Creamychic: Alright, thanks. Was your experience not good at Bellaz? I plan on writing there. Hopefully there'll be fewer people. The experience was very okay. I was the only one who wrote on that day. Just remember to cover the marker that will be given to you when you are not using it. I forgot to cover mine and I missed some words in the summarize spoken text before I was given another marker. I'm planning to rewrite with UKEAS because it allows for the exam to be written on Mondays including Tuesdays & Wednesdays, whereas Bellaz is only available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Please if you have written with UKEAS, how was d experience like? |

bellong: In addition, to submit assessment as an internal auditor with VETASSES, be very thorough with your job descriptions.
Match your descriptions action for action with the ANZSCO descriptions and also ensure you read VETASSES' instructions on their website.
For that occupation, you need at least 80 points due to the competition in the number of applicants.
Goodluck. Hi bro, to understand better, does the 80 points only apply to 189 visa or does it also apply if one goes for State nomination (190&489)? |

Concate: Good day All,
I'm new here and I appreciate the explicit information being provided by the gurus. I have been reading from Part 1 of this thread but yet to find answers to my questions.
I intend to apply for PR as principal applicant and obtain the available 5 point for my hubby. However, I'm an internal auditor with ANZSCO Code 221214 and my hubby is a Fund Manager with ANZSCO Code 222312, can we possibly get a full skill assessment from VETASSES and submit EOI with me as the principal applicant while still claiming the 5 point from my hubby? I'm asking because we do not have the same ANZSCO Code and I don't know how this works.
I will appreciate your kind and prompt response.
Attn:bellong, Alphadoor, Jayooh, highway007 Hi, you don't have to have the same Anzsco code. The requirements to claim 5 points from your hubby are: AGE is under 45 Has competent English Positive skill assessment Has a skilled occupation on the same skilled occupation list as you. All d 4 requirements must be met to claim the 5 points. |

Changes to DOHA online services and visiting DOHADear registered migration agent Re: Changes to our online services Following on from the email sent to you on 6 September 2018, in relation to changes to our phone services, the following is information about the Department’s changes to its online services. The Department of Home Affairs is progressively transforming its online channels to allow you to self-serve for the majority of information and services. This is in line with the whole-of-government Digital Transformation Agenda, which ensures all government services are delivered in a simple, clear and easy to use manner that is designed around your needs. New Home Affairs’ website The Department is redesigning its website to make information simple and easy to find. We have listened to your feedback about our website—and are now trialling a test version of our website. You can access this test site at https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au. Please let us know what you think by providing feedback using the in-page feedback link. Following user testing and extensive client research, the new website is expected to go live in November 2018. Changes to our client service offices As we continue to invest in our digital service channels, more people are choosing our online channels first when seeking our services – and the number of people visiting our offices across the country has reduced substantially in the past three years. From late-2018, our Home Affairs’ offices will only provide services to people who have a letter from the Department inviting them to attend an appointment in-person. Visa or citizenship enquiries can be resolved more quickly online due to the new website. The vast majority of visa applications will be lodged online—or by post. However, we understand there may be complex issues that need attention in-person, and by seeing people by appointment, we can provide a better level of service. If there’s a complex issue, or the Department needs to see someone for biometrics collection or citizenship tests for example – a departmental officer will book them an appointment to either come into the office or discuss by telephone. Our Australian offices will continue to provide the following services: • citizenship tests by appointment • biometrics collection • interviews for certain visa subclasses • status resolution. |

steakchips: 1. So if the degree is not highly relevant most time they will cut 2yrs post to give you a positive assessment. some cases are different but not with the jobs I have listed. so Degree no matter na work experience in this your case.
2. Just refrence letter from HR or your manager stating your details, employment date(s), roles, contact details etc. From recent outcomes, Vetassess deducts 3 years from experience if qualification is not highly relevant to nominated occupation. You can also check the Anzsco website and expatforum |

Tinyemeka: I fear that I may be in a similar position. BSc Applied Microbiology and 10 years banking experience.
I'm torn between filling for 222311 (which currently best matches my job profile) and the Customer service manager. Does the inclusion of non-degree professional qualifications matter?
What do you think VETASSESS may readjust my work experience to? Thanks.
Cc: Bellong, Mamajaz 222311 is a Skill Level 1 occupation. So if you did not finish from a Tier 1 Nigerian University or a 5 year course, you will probably get a negative assessment from Vetassess. It's not currently nominated by any state except SA which has it on Special condition. Customer Service Manager is a level 2 occupation. Choose the one that best fit your occupation and degree to avoid a waste of money with Vetassess. |

connectgt: Good day my brothers and sisters in this forum. I am about to commence my Australia Permanent Residence Visa application. I understand my credentials must be assessed by VETASSESS. I have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a Professional Diploma in Human Resources Management from Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) both in Nigeria. Please, I need clarification in the following areas; 1.) Am I expected to submit transcript for both the B.sc and professional Diploma or the B.sc would suffice? 2.) What VETASSESS address should be used for requesting transcript for Nigerian applicants? 3.) How much is the cost of assessment? What I saw on their website is much o... $880. That’s approximately N237,600 for assessment alone. 1. If the professional diploma is related to the job you are nominating, I suggest you also send the transcript 2. Address: VETASSESS Skill Recognition – General Occupations Level 5, 478 Albert St., East Melbourne Victoria 3002, Australia 3. It's AU$880, additional AU$46 for international courier if you want your assessment outcome sent to you via post. Electronic outcome is free. |

adesbaba: Have been so concerned about this CRS score thing... My major concern is how to get point for two or more certificates...
I have bsc accounting..been thinking of what 1 year program I can run,so that I will add the cert to my bsc n evaluate....(MSC are mostly 2 years n that could take time cos I can't resign my job now)...pls family any suggestion..
However,I have an associate member certificate of Chartered Institute of Customer Relationship Management (CICRM, a professional body)..I wrote 5 papers in exam cos I got exemptions.. I can go and get the exam transcript if needed...pls who knows if this can be evaluated with my bsc as 2 or more certificates
Success to us all dear You can decide to write ACCA since you are an accounting graduate. Do not take exemptions and write Acca FIA exams to obtain a diploma. Writing F5 to F9 papers may not be as easy as it seems. |
