I am working in same company from 2000 to 2018, please for what year will the company tax clearance cover?
If I submit payslips, is there any need for bank statement of account again? The company started paying salaries into bank recently.
Check the requirements of your assessing authority
For instance, Vetassess requires either bank statement or payslips. You can use recent payslips or statement covering January till date.

I have searched and searched, the closest I saw is Public Relations professional, but it’s state based, and I have fears I’d be asked for a certificate or something in that regard, which I don’t have.
Check the website of the assessing body to confirm the requirements. You can't run this journey with fear.

Please who has an idea of the minimum amount that is required as "evidence of financial capacity" for Tasmania and Northern Territory regions?
Also, it seems NSW does not require this. Is this true?
NT https://www.australiasnorthernterritory.com.au/migrate/migrate-to-work/northern-territory-government-visa-nomination/skilled-nominated-visas
If you are not an NT resident or NT graduate
You must also provide:

evidence of your financial capacity to settle in the NT including net assets
information about any support networks you have in the NT, as these may be considered.
The table below gives you detail on the assets you need and the summary you have to provide.

Family composition Minimum value of net assets
Individual applicant AU$35 000
Applicant and spouse AU$50 000
Applicant and spouse plus one child AU$60 000
Applicant and spouse plus two children AU$65 000
You must provide a list of all your financial assets in Australian dollars. You must provide evidence of those assets. For example, clear colour copies of bank statements, share certificates, property valuations and jewellery evaluations.

Tasmania also states this
access to sufficient financial assets to fund your migration and settlement in Tasmania while you seek employment.
So I guess it's safe to conclude that TAS does not really require proof of funds

No POF information on NSW website.

Sadly average score do not apply. You need a minimum of 79 in each section to claim 20 points.
Thanks

Please I need clarification on the 20 points for English test.
For example if an applicant has LSRW 89,87,80,76 in PTE (cumulative score is 83), can the person claim 20 points or must each band be 79 and above to claim 20 points?

Good evening.
While doing my Aussie research this evening, I stumbled on Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) job and realized it fits into my job more than a Customer Service Manager (CSM). The QAM job is being nominated by Tasmania and SA and assessed by VETASSESS.

I need assistance from anyone who has been assessed as a Quality Assurance Manager with VETASSESS or a link to anyone who has a positive assessment.

Is it possible to change occupation to CSM if one does not get a positive assessment on QAM from vetassess?

I also saw the below on Tasmania’s website. Does this mean I can’t select another territory (South Australia) on my EOI? Is there a way around it?

If you intend to apply for state nomination, Tasmania must be selected as your preferred location on the EOI. If you select ‘any’ or express interest in living in another state or territory will not meet the criteria to be considered for state nomination in Tasmania.

It will end in praise

Hi all,
I'm new here but I've gained a whole lot from both threads. God bless all the contributors.

I have an issue I'm trying to figure out, so thought to bring it here. So I applied to vetassess for hotel manager, claiming two career timelines: 2011- 2014 (hotel admin assistant) and 2014-2018 (hotel manager). I received a positive outcome few weeks ago, however, my years of experience was slashed to 1.2 yrs. Now to my issue, I was going for visa class 190 for NSW, but sadly hotel manager was removed from the 190 list last week. The only viable option for me is Victoria, but I'm wondering if I'm qualified to get nomination from Victoria cos they have an additional requirement for "at least 5years experience". Now I'm wondering if the experience Victoria will consider is that of vetassess (1.2years) or my general years of experience which is 8yrs. Pls advise.

Thank you guys!
Please confirm the course you studied

A draw has been conducted on the 11th of July.
for SA, you just need to say you have it, no proof or evidence required.
Dont know about NT
yes your total score must 65 with state nomination point inclusive
The website only showed there was a draw on 11th but there is no statistics of the points used for the nominated occupations

Does anyone know if a draw has been conducted since the beginning of the financial year in July? This is to help me plan my next move.

SA now nominates my occupation. the list was updated today 16.7.18.

Must my total point be 65 before any of the states nominates me?
NT and SA require AU $35,000 and 20,000 respectively for individual applicant requesting for nomination. How easy it is to cross this hurdle as I dont have 9m/5.4m?

I also find this on NT website
real feedback from NT employers on your skills and experience (auto-generated responses from job websites and employer HR departments are insufficient)Does this mean I have to start applying for jobs from Nigeria to get a nomination?

Please help my solution

Thanks for the response.

This means I will lose points in education and skill assessment. Hopefully I will get nomination for 489. Just the cost for d vetassess is crazy and at the end still end up with 489.

May I go check Canny page since I have two degrees

Good morning guys.

It seems everyone has moved to Canada thread, anyways I'm begging the house to help me with my questions cos I want to send my documents to VETASSESS for assessment.

My profile:

Age: 27
English test: Hope to get 20 points in PTE or IELTS (I dont know which to write yet)
Education: BSc. Accounting (in a Nigeria State University) and an Advanced Diploma in ACCA
Experience: I have 7 months experience as an Accountant & Audit trainee, however, I have 4 years experience in a Bank as a Customer Experience and Service Audit Analyst.

1. I am not sure if assessing as an Accountant will help me get PR due to the limited period of experience even with my ACCA advanced diploma.

2. I checked out Customer Service Manager (149212) and the job descriptions are similar to what I do in the bank. Can I assess with VETASSESS as a Customer Service Manager with my Accounting background cos VETASSESS requirements for this job does not really state if my job must be in sync to what I studied?

3. If the answer to 2 above is Yes, will VETASSESS reduce my years of experience for whatever reason? (P.S, the 4 years experience is in one bank)

4. I read on this page that some state universities get 10 points for education instead of 15 points due to cateogrization of the Universities by the assessing bodies. I also got info from a friend that the assessing bodies make use of the transcript/syllabus to award either 10 or 15 points and not necessarily due to the categorization of universities. How true is the latter?

5. Can VETASSESS assess my combined ACCA Advanced diploma and BSc Accounting so I can get the maximum 15 points?

6. After one gets an ITA, how long till the Visa fee of AU$3,755 is paid.

Only NT nominates Customer Service Manager for 190 and 485 Visa class but I'd like to go for 190.

Abeg, make una no vex with my long list of questions. Oyinbo say, "person wey ask for direction no dey miss road."

@ oga bellong and other stakeholders, please attend to my case.

This should be renamed "NIGERIA MOVIES VIEWERS AWARD"
Entry was open to all countries in Africa and to be submitted in Lagos, Kenya and South Africa. So if Nigeria dominates, it means that there were less entries from other countries or they didnt meet the selection criteria. The panel of judges are also veterans in this field from countries in Africa.
EducationRe: Eksu Unclaimed Certificate: by tunlex01(m): 10:02pm On May 30, 2018
My Certificate Receipt Experience on 30-05-2018

I was able to visit the school today to get my certificate.
Upon my arrival, I visited the Examination and Records office where I was given a form to fill which also contains all the payments I'm expected to make:

25,000 to Eksu IGR account in UBA
2,500 to Alumni account - UBA
3,700 for Alumni Compendium - Heritage Bank
200 for advancement fee - Wema Bank

Lemme say here that the queue in those banks was not small something. I had to give two banks' payments to a brother of mine to help me pay. By the time I finished making the other two payments, he was still on queue at the first bank. He later came to join me in the last bank where we spent another 1 hour to make a N200 payment. I had to tell one of the tellers that I was travelling back to Lagos today before the guy attending to only Eksu staff decided to help me.

Meanwhile, I didn't have my ID card (lost it during NYSC many years ago) and the only option given to me was to get a letter of identification from my department. Upon getting to my department, I was told my HOD has travelled and won't be back till next week. I was also told he didn't handover to anyone and I kept on asking myself why a whole HOD would travel without handing over to anyone. I quickly dashed to the faculty officer who also has the right to sign such identification but he said he won't sign it because he had already zoned the signing to all HODs and can only sign mine if my HOD agrees that he does that via phone. Unfortunately, my HOD's lines were also switched off. After 2 hours, he ordered another lecturer to sign for me.

When I got back to the Examinations room around 2:10pm, I submitted the photocopies of all l documents/ payments and was told to come back the following day as only documents submitted before 12 noon would be collected same day as well as confirmation of payment of N25000 must also be obtained from the bank before certificate is released. I asked the guy to help me that I had to get back to Lagos today. After like an hour of pleading, he said he would push it.

Fortunately for me, they started calling the first batch around 4:30pm (most of the guys called were those that submitted late on Monday prior to the Democracy day public holiday). I waited and behold, my name was called last in the 3rd batch and finally got my certificate at 6:50pm after submitting all the original documents and receipts of payment.
