I need help with US Visa Interview Waiver program.
My wife submitted her passport for the Interview Waiver visa renewal at the Lagos embassy on 1st April 2022 but was returned without a visa, but was asked to come back in person to the embassy within one year period. Please see attached paper slip placed inside the returned passport which stated thus: "Come with your international passport. Ensure accurate bio-data and validity"
My question is does anyone have an idea why she's asked to return to the embassy for interview?
Some additional Info: 1. The appointment date was a week past the 24-month validity period due to the delay in getting a date 2. Never overstayed previous 2 visits, though had a baby during last visit 2 years ago

No. He is correct. If he got married legitimately, his wife can file for his green card and he will get a 2-year conditional green card. The only instance where you cannot change status is if you did not enter the US through a port of entry (e.g. illegal border entry). Since he came in with a valid visa, he’ll be just fine.

If you don't get a closer date you can take the risk ..cos the conditions are clearly spelt out ..within 24 months after your visa expired or 3 months before expiration date .
God is not the author of confusion... deadlines are set for a reason. Submit your passport within the 2-year period stated and save yourself the need to require "grace" to do what everyone else takes for granted.

I realized how much I was addicted to him when I couldn't talk to him as much as I wanted. He returned to base and we continued like before.
I started praying for God to help me overcome these desires. Maybe he also felt the same, because for some reasons I don't know, he reduced the frequency of calls and chats drastically. I didn't try to find out why, just thought the time-off would help me clear out immoral thoughts. But I got hurt when he acted indifferent on one occasion when I felt he should have shown more care. I asked him about it and he pretended not to understand what I was talking about. I read the writing on the wall, and decided to play along. So I said "bye. It was nice meeting you." Part of me was grateful it ended, another part was wishing I could still be with him. I love my husband and children, I cannot come and scatter my home.
He thought I was joking. I was no longer responding to his chats, and when I did, only with monosyllables. He became hurt and accused me of going silent on him. I told him he started it. He wanted me to become defensive, but the Holy Spirit whispered "keep quiet ". So I allowed him rant without saying anything. I thank God I didn't, because I would have exposed how deep my true feelings for him were.
Right now, he chats once in a while, just general "how are you". I say "fine". Also at the 2016, an error was made on my Passport Birth Year, I used it to go the embassy that way because of the urgency. But now I want to reapply I am thinking if I should continue with it or rectified the birth year. But if I am to change it to the real one, won't they already have the previous one that I used in 2016 in their system, will that not be an issue. Also that time I haven't done my birth certificate,(the one from National Population Commission), So should I just do the birth certificate to tally with age already in their system and proceed with the previous passport. Or do the birth certificate with my real birthday year, than change it on the passport also. Then when I get to the embassy if the birth issue comes up , I can show them the birth certificate as prove that the previous one was an error and has been rectified in the new passport.
Finally, please if one is travelling as a clerygy for a Church Leadership conference, is it the B1 visa or R- Visa that one should apply for?

The governor is most likely lying. The clinic mentioned is 20 minutes from my home, one of the doctors there is my wife's urologist and performed her kidney stone operation a few weeks ago. They do not perform "radiography".
1. Radiography is one of several imaging techniques used to diagnose disease (e.g. CT, X-ray, MRI). It is not a treatment in and of itself. It would be strange and impossible to get imaging every day for 8 weeks!
2. I've been to Spring Creek Urology at least twice, they do not have facilities inside the clinic to do imaging. You have to go to the main hospital (Memorial Hermann) for that. My wife had to do her CT in the main hospital, not at the clinic.
3. Perhaps the governor was referring to radiation therapy? That is the only thing that would make sense. That said, Spring Creek does not do radiation either. You would have to be referred to a specialist radiologist for that.

That the "news" is from emails found on Hunters' "abandoned laptop" should also clue you in. Why are we just finding out about these emails months after it would have been most useful after the Nov 2021 elections?
Why was the news broken by Russian TV if the abandoned laptop had already been with the FBI since 2021?
