Praising God and cursing the flight crew… all in the same post… Nigerian “Christianity” in a nutshell. The flight host gave you instructions that are standard across the airline industry. Every flight starts with the crew giving you instructions of what to do in the event of an accident. That is policy, nothing to do with your prayers… and no, the air host has no clue if the flight is faulty or not. The pilots don’t know either… landing gear issues are not an occurrence limited to Nigeria alone. All in all, another “celebrity” who is completely ignorant of mundane flight rules.

I beg you in the name of what you serve, make sure you’re fully vaccinated before your flight day, either by runs or by actually taking them. Because you would SURELY be sent back. Even my guy what was suppose to go to Ghana was sent back with his 1doze of Vaccine. He was asked to reschedule his flight, that was even Air Peace. It’s not even by flight type but countries rules and order.

Yes Texas is a low tax state (no state tax), but you pay for it in other ways… during the freeze of 2020, houston lost power for over a week, because the state power suppliers did not winterize their equipment and we are not connected to the national grid. That will NEVER happen in a blue state. The reason Texas is prone to floods is because of the complete lack of zoning laws and absence of flood mitigation… will NEVER happen in a blue state. So enjoy your warped view of red states… I hope you never lose your job and need unemployment insurance or have to rely on cobra for health insurance. That’s false and outright silly. People vote democrat because of progressive policies that promote the overall welfare of the society. Universal pre-K, paid leave, increased minimum wage, improved infrastructure, universal healthcare coverage which lowers overall healthcare costs, affordable childcare.

The idea of “free loaders” is standard republican orthodoxy. One that is largely built on bigotry… the biggest “free loaders” in the US are the rich, many of whom pay no taxes and get trillions in tax breaks that never trickle down to you and I.

I am happy you sharing this story so that people can learn from it. it is mine. I am a PR in canada and yes went through a lot fighting for my girls to stay back because they are the major reason i came here. I am also happy and not surprised to read the many comments and diverse views. Indeed it is very easy to judge a situation when one has no idea of the back story.

Like many said, it is indeed true that my poor kids are at the receiving end in all of this. I won't waste thousands of dollars going to court to fight for them if i did not feel unjustly treated. I surely intended to bring them to Canada and informed their dad of my intentions by myself before things went sour.

I relocated for a better life for myself and the girls and i had been their primary parent for 8 years before their return. It was indeed a big change for them to have to return to new primary parents and begin to get used to other people's way of doing things. That is my worry and not the blame game.

But one thing is sure, there is more than meets the eyes. I certainly will not put my kids through untold hardship intentionally. To all readers, whatever you can learn from this story please learn and i am willing to share more from my experience to anyone in a similar situation and does not know what to do. Mistakes are to be learned from.

Options - stay in Canada, obtain your citizenship, go back to Nigeria to parent your girls, then return to Canada with them once they turn 18. Your ex-husband is quite vicious.

1. Massive disruption in oil flow.
2. the need to avoid a major refugee crisis in the middle east - Iran has a population of 84 million
