That's lying. If the husband wanted to get back at her, he could easily send her passport to Canadian immigration and say she lied that her old passport was lost. She would then be completely screwed.
She can still keep her COPR on humanitarian grounds, she just has to report this fast enough.

This is only partially true. What matters most is convincing the VO that you have a stronger reason to return to Nigeria than stay in the US. For example, a single adult male child flying to visit a parent will find it very hard to get a visa. But a bank executive in Nigeria going to visit his children wouldn't find it that hard... he has a high-powered source of income that he is highly unlikely to want to abandon just to stay with his children.

You probably do this on a temporary visa. This will complicate a US visitor visa application because you are already at a deficit with respect to home ties. You can try though.

Doubtful that you will find a hospital willing to accept wire transfer, considering most people here either pay online or by check. Once they've also told you what they will accept, you dont have much choice left. Your only option is to wire money to someone in the US and have them pay on your behalf, online is easier.

It's okay to assume the actions taken might be desperate. If one sibling has not seen her in 5 year since he started college, I think its worth giving a shot to get a visa, if we keep graduating and she cant be present I also think it's worth giving a shot.
As regards your question as to why we cant visit her in the UK, two of us are on OPT, currently trying to adjust status through our workplaces. Lawyers and school DSOs advise that you should not try leave the country while on OPT especially if your visa is expired as there's a high chance on getting denied since you're done with school, and our employers trying to adjust status for us definitely doesn't help.
One sibling who is still in school can attempt to go visit her, but he'd need to renew his visa but she wont buy that as she's probably too traumatized at this point. I came home in 2019 and renewed my visa via Dropbox before going home and letting her know I was around but had renewed my visa already. That’s how terrible she’s dreaded us stepping out of the US before we get GCs. I guess it’s just parental paranoia
Alternatively, if we are bent on reuniting with her, we could all meet in any of the Caribbean island as those in F1 status can visit the Caribbean islands on expired F1 visas and re-enter the US with no issue. And a couple of Caribbean nations are visa free for Nigerians. But come on, we are talking about her not being even able to attend graduations and missing her sibling's funeral.
And speaking of me exploring the Canadian route, it's the express entry programme for myself since I qualify for it and she also get the benefit way quicker than the American benefit would come from us. And my sibling also works with an organization that can move them to Canada should the need arise. This is in the grand scheme of things for the long run. I hope this address the immigrant intent concern.
As regards what she may have done to trigger the revocation, she didn't give birth to any of her here, if she did, we wont be so worried haha, someone would have filed for her. She has only visited the US for a week for convention, tried to take my brothers to get tourist visa, they got denied and that was the genesis. And she also had her UK visitor visa renewed twice after the revocation before going to study, she has a good track record there so I guess getting her UK student visa wouldnt have been an issue.
In all at this point, her home ties are really working against her, she asked after her last denial why she keeps getting denied, the VO told her point blank that all her kids are in the US. It probably doesn't help to note that she's widowed so I understand her having zero home ties.

In the case of your mom, it might be relatively simple. All her children are in the US, she's a widow and she is a temporary immigrant/student in the UK. This simply means she has zero home ties... she isn't likely to get a visa at this rate. The best bet would be to try applying after she returns to Nigeria. Or get a visa to Canada... you all can travel to Canada to see her and return even with an expired visa. Unfortunately, that would require you to also apply for Canadian visas too.

I lived through that with my parents in Nigeria. Everyone felt entitled to their money (because my mom was a doctor) and my parents had the same attitude as yours. We had to go without many things just to accommodate this foolish idea.

Due to the poverty and lack of social security in sub saharan Africa. Most of us need family support just to survive. To feed, school, have a roof over our heads and even treat medical issues, we require the help of close family members - parents, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. Victor cannot tell us that he got to where he is today without help from any family member. Sometimes the family has to make sacrifices just to push one person out of poverty. It is often expected that the person would help other family members once he or she is made.
No they are not ENTITLED to any of your success. Who gave Victor the gift of football? His sister? What sacrifices did the family make to get him out of poverty? The family can make requests for help... but to go on social media to malign him is the very height of delusional arrogance. If i were Victor, that would be the end of any help i ever planned to render.

Victor Osimhen presented his inlaw as his Nigerian agent. The foreign and Nigerian agents were supposed to share the money. What happens if the foreign agent refused to pay the Nigerian agent his commission? Its still the inlaw that has the right to sue the foreign agent.
In a 419 deal both the person that brought in the client and the person whose account is used have a fair sharing formula.
So basically he was used to launder money and he is complaining that he didn't get paid enough? ok.

He signed all necessary documents. The money was transferred into his account. Victor Osimhen used sentiments and scope to collected all the money, and gave him 2.5%. He is now demanding foe his fair share of the deal. Where is the entitlement here?
So exactly what work did the inlaw do? Was he involved in negotiating the transfer deal? Is he the one with the talent that allows such a huge and lucrative transfer? Why does he feel entitled to even $1? The in-law himself acknowledges that he was only brought in because he is family, so as to keep the money/profit within the family. What is he complaining about again?
I think the overriding issue here is that MOST Nigerians also feel entitled to eat "our brother's money". This is why many are siding with the in-law. They see nothing wrong in demanding their "share" from the sweat of other people's brow. No one is required to "take care of his family". If they are suffering, they should go get a job.
chinchum: While Victor appears greedy from the vidéo, there is a form of entitlement by the family. It is crazy that family will make it social media affair.
However, it is a shame that victor will let his family suffer. There are some money that will almost make you hands off family wahala. Out of the over 500kusd, If he shared at least 50kusd i.e about 20million naira as of 2020 to each of the immediate siblings, assuming he has 6 siblings, amount spent is 300kusd+ they should be set for life and any one who comes back to cry that Victor did not do anything can go and die. I am very sure many will still come back though, because there is so much greed and entitlement in an average Nigerian.
The money is a commission afterall .
The in law who got the payment should get more payout. We are all different, it should still not have made it to social media, they could have cajoled and begged him, the man may struggle to explain to a court he made voluntary transfer to him and still not get it back.
But you know that will never be the case. Once he establishes this precedent, his family will be asking for $50k every year. The problem here isn't victor, it is a family that feels entitled to the sweat of his brow. Why cant he buy cars with HIS money? Go work for yours.
