## Most settlement visas applicants do go for interview. If they were refused there(AT THE EMBASSY) and handed the refusal notice, they have 28 days but if the refusal notice was sent to them they are entitled to 56 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF DECISION.

Until recently, there is nothing called VAC.

1) It is not an opinion, it is a FACT.

2) Tell me where do visa applicants get their decision? UK or in Nigeria. Keep on missing in-country application sent to croydon to visa applications sent to Eleke crescent. You are on your own.

The time starts counting from the day of service, not the day when the refusal
notice is signed. I thought I had convinced you of this with my reference to the AIT rules
and procedures. This is regardless of whether it is 28 or 56 days.

With regards to the 56 day thing. I think this is just local practice to take into account
the "Nigerian Factor" ie poor postal service. Since applicants are not at a disadvantage
the AIT will not take issue with it and insist on 28 days. It certainly is not provided for
legislatively.

Like i said from the onset, 28 days is for the visa applicants who receive their refusals BY HAND [/b]from ECO( Please see the notice i uploaded last time)

56 days is for visa applicants that that receive their decision by post. In this context, VAC act as courier(post).

Enough said.
