In the days I attended Christian churches, and now in my post-Christian incarnation, what I have notices is the selective cheery-picking manner in which ministers use the bible. Typically, they would select verse, here and there, to make a specific doctrine point. The majority of church-goers, not being very intellectually curious, never read these verses in their fully context.

The verses about tithes are a particular favourite in most of the churches I attended, for good reasons. Without the emphasis on these verses, the churches would be financially crippled. The verses about blessings, wealth, miracles are also favourites because these help entice the congregation to the notion of expected positive change in their circumstances.

But are there any verses in the bible that are deliberately avoided by the ministers on the pulpits? What would you like to hear preached about from the pulpits?


For instance, I would like to hear Number 31 preached from the pulpits, particularly the following verses;

15 "Have you allowed all the women to live?" he asked them.
16 "They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the LORD in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the LORD's people.
17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man,
18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.


Would you like to hear these verses more in your churches?

Haivng gone through your post, I must say that I am yet to get the point you are driving at! Why on earth do you think I would be interested to hear the verses you listed above in my church!You gotten the whole concept of church all mixed up and am appalled at the way you are going about it with your post!Obviously,you had it rough with a church you attended at on epoint in your life but I still dont see it as good enough reason to flaunt your gullibility here,every one knows that there are challants who parade themselves as church or whatever!Why you want to make a mountain out of it is what I am yet to grasp!or are you seeking attention here ni?Pls Get a Life cause you piss me off!

Secondly,am also pissed, why falling inlove if at all she was with his brother's best friend,does that speak well of her?? when there are so many guys out there to take her feelings to. Throughout our arguments, i have about 3 bundles beside all of them with "Date of Service".

I have not seen their reply yet.

I just rang my Cousin with whom i have gone to Court many years.

He dropped the bombshell, that those guys don't really care and date applicants can just right any date as "date of service decision", saying embassy don't really care.

If i have your email addy, i could have send you the form.

I actually sent a mail to your gmail !But didnt get any response from you!

I want to believ that the form you showed above was th eold forms they attach to the refusal letter from the embassy now cause from my observation lately,ECO's dont put appeal froms there now, I guess they are still trying to come to terms with this new forms and I guess thats why they have not been including appeal forms for people now!

I guess you will be convinced now sir that the form shown by Pataki was not the work of multimedia or maximedia as we call it here in NIIT where I work!Well that is if you will take the pain to go through the forms sha.Then you will be convinced that we are both right in a way and am still wondering where on earth you got that form from, I have sent the updated one sha!

I guess this is where the problem is I happen to have downloaded this same form from the AIT website and it has date of service of decision as against the form u showed up here!
So were are both right in this but check this out!Downloaded it from their official webiste!

I am another witness of the fact that the 28days starting counting when u receive your application from the VFS,and not when the ECO makes the decision, infact I still took the risk of using NIPOST to post ma appeal and guess what! AIT still acknowledge it!And am reiterating here that if counting from the date the ECO made the decsion,I would not meet up with the 28days se!

Yes ooo,I wannna learn, all I want this guys to do is to prove to me that what happened to me was a miracle or something cause AIT still sent an acknowledgement letter to me or whatever they call it. 28 DAYS START COUNTING FROM THE MOMENT YOU RECEIVE YOUR DOCS AT THE VFS CENTRE AND THEY DO GIVE YOU A PAPER TO SIGN!

I totally agree with you on this once again!The 28 days start counting from the day the ECO'S decision was served and not when he makes his decision. This guys in the commission can be lazy at times, there are times decisions are made 2weeks before the VAC receives it! I know what am saying guys and if this happens, do you still think the 28days would already started counting from that point!
I totally dont want to agree with this but I want to learn sha so pls present the facts, I wish the peeps at the commission can come and settle this debate !
