Help!

I had to turn off my Redmi 9A last night on the advice of Glo support because of a data connection issue. However, the phone won't power on afterwards.

The phone was fully charged before turning off. It was confirmed repeatedly that the battery was 100% full when I plugged in its charger because the screen lighted up normally.

I can't even boot into recovery mode because pressing the volume and power buttons didn't have any effect.

What could be wrong and how do I deal with this problem, please? Thanks in anticipation.

I actually came across your post via a quick search on Google like two days ago. Just left the page open in my browser so I don't forget to check later. The decision to carry out that search was because of something similar to this.

How many times I follow up? I follow up 10 times*2 in a year. 1 quarter 10 times. Last Quarter 10 times before totally dropping it.

Most tend to sell in the second session of 10 follow ups. Probably because in the first session the email might have entered spam. Then in the second session it might have hit the inbox.

It is very important to allow your email rest. If u want to be making sales all year round via outbound. To have many sales letter formats and many other stuffs.

I leave about 4months before another round of 10 follow ups(second session).

Someone asked if I use mailtrack? I don't. Infact I'm even trying to go the automate route cause I see alot of potential in emds and auto lead Gen but the downside will be your emails could be hitting the wrong end users thus falling into spam. That's one of the reasons I'm unable to scale since most of my bulk process is manual and it could be very boring; portfolio still swinging around 100.


My mind is telling me the culprit could be all Ur emails is entering spam...this is one of the biggest issues in outbounding...how sure are you that Ur emails arent entering spams. Of course, their are myriads of tweaking and strategies to know if it enters spam or gets delivered/seen by end users. I have highlighted some in my previous post.

Most important thing everyone have their journeys and what works for them. It is important to re-evaluate and stick to what works for someone that is develop a unique angle such that u can be very consistent.

For me I've developed a unique method that works for me in OUTBOUND although the sales might be relatively small but it has been consistent. All I need is to scale the process but I'm kind of lazy and instead channeling the energy to brandables as I also want to get a unique method that can bring sales every month.

I do all I can to avoid emails landing into spam folders, including tweaking messages often and changing email addresses. In fact, I don't follow up too many times partly because I was trying to avoid this.

You can not be buying 10 names per month and expect contant sales...domaining is now hard, reason being that we have too many variations on that domain name you are pushing.

Again my brother...domaining is no more easy, therefore more research is also needed. Research more on a name before you reg it.

10 names a month are even a lot. I would expect someone buying that many monthly to sell at least one or two a month, on average. After all, someone (Alexxien or Learner47) noted recently that their portfolio was about or less than 100; they sell monthly.

If it's about research, I would like to think that I do relatively well. Na money dey stop me from registering more often.

I have a lot of domain names (probably more than 200) to renew and sales haven't been frequent of late. But I thank God.

But I can confirm to you that things are still as expected for me. Things haven't changed. Well, maybe it's because I haven't paid directly with a card in a long time - I pre-pay.

I use same sales template all through the periods of out-bonding. I only formulate a new sales letter when I get a response from endusers, replying back to them based on the content of what I received.

After the first out-bound every other subsequent out-bounds(follow ups) are not sent under the pre-existing mails sent out. They are all independent of one another. So, all follow ups are like sending out a newly fresh mail for the first time.

Out-bounding are carried out just once in a month. Most of my sales came in at the 7th, 8th, 10th months after price reduction.

After 8th follow ups...Great months ahead for us all. Follow up! Follow up! Follow up!

I recently considered changing my outbound flow (based on ideas from someone here) and I am now thinking of tweaking that a little. I need more frequent sales, even if it's just for around $100 each.

Wrong info from an incompetent support.

Domain names listed on Dan and integrated into the Afternic Distribution Network enjoys the same level of visibility as a domain name listed directly on AFTERNIC.

A domain name I listed on Dan and integrated into Afternic a few days ago is visible at third party registrars including Name/cheap/silo, Dynadot and go.daddy.

It's NOT wrong if you prefer to list your names separately. But do NOT justify doing so with wrong info.

If you believed so. I wouldn't like to think I know better than two, not one, support staff member - one each from DAN and Afternic.

By the way, do you realise there are two types of promotion networks on Afternic? Your domain is listed in the "basic" one when it is accepted. You can fully enjoy the Premium promotion when that domain is opted in for Fast Transfer.

Basic promotion doesn't mean your listing will show only at DAN, Afternic, or GoDaddy. Rather, it would be displayed only at a limited number of partners.

I have always listed domains separately. DAN's support informed me, when I asked after they added Afternic integration, that the distribution thing was for Standard network promotion. I confirmed this again days ago from Afternic after a domain that I had listed on DAN was said to have already been listed there.

I would suggest you list your domains separately if you have accounts with both platforms. You only enjoy Premium (extended network) promotion when you list directly on Afternic.

Hmmm, i am guessing most undeliverable problems are usually associated using customs emails, sales template, excessive out-bounding using new email. We have been advised many times to stick with gmail, to send our mails to ourselves first before sending it to enduser in order to know if it is Landing in inbox, so as to avoid spam triggering materials that might be present in your sales template and that when out-bounding with new emails we should not exceed sending to more than 50 endusers in a day; I will advise 30 for the first 30days.

I tick all this boxes and I have never have any issues with mails landing in spam or whatsoever.

As for 10 follows, this seems to raise eyes brows; I wonder why. Yes! I follow up on my domain a total of 11times not counting the first outbound before they finally drop. Just one follow up in a month that all.

I have a total of 44 domain names in my portfolio all purchased last year, I work on my names starting from Monday to Friday. Follow up time 5:20 pm to 6:30pm. So, working Monday to Friday in a month means working for 20 days (no Sunday and Saturday). I have just 20days to work on all domains in my portfolio. Now I divide 44 by 20 that should give me 2.3, I just round it up to 3. So, I work on 3 domain names in a day not going below and not going above. As my portfolio gets bigger I make adjustments, continuing the process.

I think the US economy will likely nose dive this year with the decoupling of countries from the US Dollar and the emergence of the BRICS currency around August this year. Domainers and any other business heavily dependent on western economies are in for a long ride.

Thanks for the advice. But, after looking up what the BRICS was about, I don't see domaining being impacted greatly. The bigger concern is the state of the US and global economies.

Some of those economies in the group still depend on the US. I just pity this South Africa.

From what I can see here, I think the currency will more or less be restricted among the member countries.

The eleventh time, my final follow up, I extract email from bing and I bid my farewell. Follow ups on a domain are carried out on a monthly basis just once in a month. Never relent on follow ups because you have got a human feeling that you are disturbing endusers. 1 to 4 follow ups are not enough to sell domain names. Probably Endusers do not see our first mail; the second mail they see but do not read; the third mail they read; the fourth mail, they look at the price; the fifth mail, they speak of it to the people around them; the sixth mail, they are ready to purchase and the seventh mail, they purchase it.

I mean I don't follow up anywhere near that many times and I send a fresh email (message) each time. Yet, I have had deliverability issues and I suspected it was because some people marked my emails as spam.

So how did you manage sending exact emails that number of times without this concern?

By the way, the last time I checked Dynadot was offering new .com registrations (excluding fresh drops) for 7.88! That offer was supposed to last until the end of this month, if I remember correctly.

You can receive payment in GBP, then convert to USD.

You seemed to forget that your card details are also saved on the site. Such unplanned renewals could also happen directly via that means.

Well, I started disabling auto-renewals since last year. I can't remember now whether that was due to any unplanned renewals that occurred, but I remember reading someone's experience on that before I decided to start doing so.

I monitor renewals manually now, helped by a schedule and reminders.

Reading at least the first 50-100 pages should help you get the basics. Just grab the idea and observe what people have been doing.

Reading all pages while taking notes here and there is still the best, though. Also, visit Namepros regularly and follow top domainers on Twitter to learn new tips and see what sells.

This is true actually and the screenshot says it all. I just use myself as a reference, I hate too many messages connecting to the same thing and it wears me out, that's why I also try not to spam my end user with too much mail.

This is me. This might have contributed to the sales not flowing well, but I can't really help it.

I even try to avoid outbound-centric domains as much as possible these days. They are a lot of work that often doesn't pay off.
